This is the synopsis on Sister Claire website; "Rife with nuns, Witches, magick, werewolves, cats, giant robot mechas, and blue angels who pop out of toilets to announce approaching apocalypses, Sister Claire is the story of a young woman who leaves her quiet abbey to undergo a rigorous journey across a monster-riddled wilderness. On this journey, Claire begins to assemble the jigsaw puzzle of her past, present, and future, all while facing terrible dangers, finding new friends, and trying to save her found family from certain doom. Hot dog!"
After the events of book 1, our favorite nuns are separated into two pairs; one group, the youngers of the kick-butt convent are journeying to a long gone promise land; while the other more mature, senior party track down their -- what they believe to be -- wayward friends.
There is a lot of truths and secrets revealed, major character growth (in the junior and senior gals,) and most importantly-- more cameos!
Seriously though, while cameos are fun it's the affection all of the characters share for one another, their understanding and willingness to do anything for each other is truly what this book is about.
Such a great feel good story that will leave you wanting more.
