A pampered princess who doesn’t get her way causes sparks to fly in this enemies-to-lovers hot royal romance.
Lola SuMartra’s sights were set on one man for years, and she’s through with waiting for him to make a move. Adopting a disguise and sneaking away from her security detail, she hops a commercial flight to America to pursue her dream man.
After having her handbag stolen as soon as she lands, she arrives just in time to discover the object of her affection has married another. She’s stranded with nothing to her name but the designer clothes on her back.
Lola’s saved by Crew Stockton, a handsome stranger who doesn’t fall for her charms and calls her out on her elitist attitude. Determined to get herself out of the mess, she conceals her identity and refuses to phone home for help and admit to yet another failure. In the face of her strong will, Crew reluctantly allows her to work on his ranch to earn her return plane fare through sweat equity.
Crew gets under her skin and rubs her the wrong way, but she’s determined to prove him wrong.
She goes from attending balls and high teas in fashionable dresses to mucking out stalls in borrowed denims, driven to prove she isn’t the shallow, useless woman he thinks she is.
Knowing her royal world will inevitably reclaim her, how will Lola ever leave Crew and the life she’s grown to love behind?

Failure to Seduce is an excellent addition to the Royal Heirs series. The SuMartras are an interesting family, and they always have big adventures. Lizabeth Scott writes amazing characters that you can’t help but love. Crew and Lola have an interesting start, but the find themselves strongly attracted to each other. The story was full of emotions as they find their way to their happily ever after. I teared up and laughed. Lola finds out a lot about herself on her journey to America, and she decides what she wants out of life. Can Crew send Lola find a way to make it work, or do they have to go their separate ways? I couldn’t put the book down until I found out! I can’t wait to see what is next for the rest of the family!
Don't be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.
I really enjoyed Lola and Crew's story. Who knew Lola whose life is full of galas and glamorous gowns could get her hands dirty, literally. When she follows the man of her desires, she is devastated to find out he is married.
Crew is head of a ranch that keeps him busy and focused. When Lola shows up on his doorstep he knows he is in trouble. What is he going to do with a drop-dead gorgeous woman? There are some very funny moments and a lot of angst. Throw in some romance and steam and you have a very entertaining story. Definitely worth⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lizabeth Scott has written another great book in her series, Royal Heirs. Lizabeth tells us the story of Princess Lola SuMartras traveling from her homeland only to find herself broke and her forever dreams dashed. Grumpy Crew Stockton takes her in and while they seem oil and water, there was attraction to each other. I admired Lola for proving herself and melting Crew’s heart. Crew’s daughter, Clementine Agatha Stockton, stole my heart, an inquisitive, determined young lady who kept Crew and Lola on their toes, determined she was going to get a mother. Great book by a wonderful author, thank you Liz!

Lizabeth tells us the story of Princess Lola SuMartras traveling from her homeland only to find herself broke and her forever dreams dashed. Grumpy Crew Stockton takes her in and while they seem oil and water, there was attraction to each other. I adimired how Lola could easily change crew's mind about her and she won the heart of his daughter. I loved how Prince Taj is protective abt her daughter.....The story is funny cute yet very emotional...... SuMartras are going strong.... eagerly waiting for next...
All the feels leap off the page and grab ahold of the heart. Failure to Seduce turns emotions inside out. Lola and Crew turn unlikely into inevitable. Scott gives heartache a bit of gloss and reveals a beautiful array of heartwarming. From the complexity of the heroine to the temptation of romance and lastly the endearing moments of family and friendship, it's impossible not fall in love with the Sumatra clan in all it's many colors.
Lizabeth Scott has the uncanny ability to take the unlikeable and make you love them and root for their HEA. To feel their joy and pain. I loved the progression of Lola’s character, though I wish she would have tried harder to get her man. Crew was a great grumpy cowboy dad. It’s so enjoyable to read, I finished it in one sitting. Standalone, but part of an epic royal family saga. You don’t need to have read any of the previous books, but you’ll want to after this
I really enjoyed this story line from beginning to end!!! Crew and Lola's journey to love held some secrets, drama and humor. I loved that Lola found her own worth both so the ranch and back in her country!!! Crew's willingness to compromise to secure both their futures spoke volumes. Looks like Clemmie will get her wish!!! I recommend this book!

Lola and Crew drew me in from page one! It’s been awhile since I fell so totally into a book that I had to start up! Their story is the perfect blend of all the things to me— and they kept me wanting more. Revisit the royal family as Lola has her coming of age story.
