"It is time to feed!""You must drink human blood within 24 hours""Your HP will continue to decrease until the task has been completed"
I would like to give it a higher rating but there are quite a few typos and grammatical errors. I guessed that English isn't the Author's first language and I was right. The story is engaging and could also use some editing along with some proofreading. The chapters are in varying lengths. It gets to be quite expensive at $8.99 -$9.99 for each book. The vampire stuff doesn't bother be as much as the insane bullying by students and the discarding of people deemed expendable by those in decision making positions. Life is hard in this world but who needs the Dalki when the humans are abusing each other in such a manner? What is really interesting are the friendships forged with the main character, Quinn Talen. So far, his inner circle has shared terrible secrets about themselves yet they remain loyal and true to each other, at least so far.
My only complaints about this series are the poor editing, short entries, and premium price. In some instances of less than 200 pages, 9.99 is steep. Especially considering a lack of cleaning up the typos and misspellings. Great story, but losing interest 9,99 at a time. Get yourself a couple proofreaders and take your books up a notch! You’ve got the steak and potatoes, just add a nice presentation to finish it.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. The character of Fex is a great foil to Quinn. The interactions between them is great and leaves both with much to think on. Plot is developing well. I am pleasantly surprised it has not hit a hole
