technically didn’t finish the last chapter but I’m still counting this one. the way they explained the metabolism pathways was too disjointed for me, but other than that, pretty clear explanations

Ya know I feel like biochemistry is a lot more engaging and interesting than this book it’s on 😓

Overall, feeling pretty biochem competent rn, but I will say one thing: Chapter 4 has absolutely no business here. Save that shit for ochem or for the end of the book or just tear the pages out for all I care. Maybe undergrad students will get through that unscathed, but your average post-grad joe has been mentally devastated after experiencing “Carbohydrate Structure and Function,” a literal hellscape written by bumptious bastards. -1 star, Kaplan. Other than that, very solid content. Feeling good.
