For full disclosure, I have a story in this book. This was the first Chicken Soup for the Soul book I ever read after receiving my contributor copies. I submitted my story because my mother loved the series more than any other, and it was easy to see why. The stories take you through a range of emotions where you connect with each contributor in a different way. The stories are endearing, heartfelt, and authentic. I recommend this book for all readers.
This definitely encouraged me to be more grateful and I probably cried but honestly don't remember. That's what I get for writing the review 3 months later. It's chicken soup - I'm a fan no matter the topic <3
I really enjoyed reading this book. It gave me moments of perspective and allowed me to bask in the gratitude for my life. Having appreciation for what you have makes all the difference.
Took a little to get into initially and ended up enjoying reading a few stories before bed each night. I liked the quotes before each story and overall theme of the book.
101 inspirational stories. I happen to be the author of one of them. Every story is uplifting and will make you feel good to be in this world. So much to be thankful for!
