This is a pretty good book! This has a bunch of techniques that I've never even heard of, and I love that it has incredibly detailed diagrams showing how to do these techniques step-by-step. They even drew where the sewing machine should be oriented, how the stitches should look at each stage, so that you can check what you are doing against the guidebook.
There were some times when I found that the book underestimated by stupidity - where I had to look up even more detailed instructions because I'd bungled something. But even if you are still a total newbie like me, this book is still fantastic.
