Henry, Dudley, and Max are on a field trip to the Space Center. They are excited to see all the cool stuff. But when they spot what they think is an alien walking around are they seeing things or is there really an extraterrestrial at the Space Center?

Max's mom and the boys' teacher have gotten wise and are channeling the boys curiosity. They get taken on quite the little adventure, which ends in a very non-scifi way. Henry's magic actually doesn't even get used in this one. An entertaining arm chair field trip to a science center for younger readers.

No content issues.

While on a field trip to the Space Center, the three friends ignore a Do Not Enter sign and have an adventure in "space." Henry and Dudley are surprised by the trip but Max is calm and just pushes buttons. After the journey, readers meet Max's mom and the truth about their trip comes out. I appreciate that Henry relied on himself not his magic in this book.

I read these aloud to our 6 & 4 year old who absolutely love everything hecklebecks AND Lancaster.
This one is by far one of their favorites of all.
Maybe because we as a family play lots of jokes on one another in the same light hearted manner that is portrayed in this book.
Maybe it’s because what kid doesn’t LOVE a museum WITH a rocket themed playground?
These books have been a prevalent source of imagination and life lessons in our household and they bring us a lot of joy!

Henry and his two friends, Dudley and Max, are on their field trip at the Space Center. Dudley is convinced there are aliens in this universe and the kids are hoping to find some answers at the on their trip. While walking around, they spot something! Is it an alien?

Large font and a good book for lower elementary readers.
