Ok, so, kiddo picked this book out from the library. He was interested in it until we read about the mango fly. That bug really freaked him out. Apparently, if it bites and lays eggs, the larve grow in or behind the eyes. After we read that, he didn't want to continue. So he dnf'd this book. I finished it on my own because I was curious about the other bugs. The mango fly is still pretty creepy. If your kiddo's are interested in bugs, this might be a good one for them.

Even though he didn't want to continue and I finished it on my own, I am still going to put it on my shelf dedicated to books I have read to him this year.
