Everything in It's Place: 2,5 ★
"Todo en su lugar" es una recompilación de las portadas variantes que fueron publicadas durante el arco de Mal Necesario, mostrando como los Emisarios observaban a cada equipo de Rangers enfrentar sus enemigos, sin interferir en los eventos.

The Girl He Lefts Behind: 3 ★
"La niña que él dejó atrás" es un relato exclusivo que nos muestra la nueva vida del Patrullero Clon de Rita Repulsa que huyó tras la derrota frente a los Rangers, su encuentro con el Phantom Ranger y su cambio de vida.

I thought the actual story of Necessary Evil is simple; yet it was so jumbled it was barely coherent. I expected this one just to continue the story, but for a large part of it, you are getting more backstory of the formation of the Omega Rangers; so it's even more jumbled and seems unnecessary, especially when it's not clear it is a flashback. As a recap: Jason, Trini, and Zack are the newly formed team of the Omega Rangers, with new rangers taking their vacant places in the original team. Kiya was part of the Omega Rangers but went rogue as she decided that Tommy was always a threat to become Drakkon once again. Kiya seemed like she could be a great villain but you have alternative chapters of battling Kiya but then flashbacks to recruiting her. I thought it was a bit lame that she is quickly defeated with a Deus Ex Machina of sorts with Ranger Slayer swooping in from nowhere with the solarix to tie it to the "Beyond the Grid" story. Then Zedd is freed by Dayne to become the main villain once again. Zedd turns his crew into Dark Rangers led by Putty Rita. Things seem to happen quick with Drakkon reappearing out of nowhere, then Empyreal too. It starts throwing all these ideas around. Then it jumps to the Coinless in the alternate timeline even though I thought that timeline had been undone at the conclusion of the Shattered Grid. So basically it's just confusing for the sake of being confusing, and anything can happen in the next instalment because of all the set-ups that now need conclusions.

What a “Morphenomenal” conclusion to the ‘Necessary Evil’ era. Tensions rise within the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers team as they uncover the truth about the new Omega Rangers, leading to a heart-wrenching revelation and a necessary alliance to protect the universe from the EMPOWERED forces led by Kiya.

The Ranger Slayer is back, and I couldn't be more excited to see an older, alternative world Kimberly fighting alongside the Rangers. The final chapter of the book promises to be intense, with her returning to the world Drakkon created, where she discover Rita, betrayals and the undead awaits. More on that later…!

Another character I adored was XI, the Omega Rangers' robot sidekick with a sharp tongue that could cut down even the most diabolical villains with its sass. And speaking of diabolical, Lord Zedd is back and more powerful than ever, with a new crew of Dark Rangers that will give the Power Rangers a run for their money. But what I loved most was watching the new Rangers find their inner strength and kick some serious evil butt, all while dealing with their own self-doubt.

The conclusion to 'Necessary Evil' was an exciting and sinister series, just like the rest of the comics, with the introduction of a new Green Ranger who seems formidable. I'm looking forward to learning more about him. On to the next adventure...!

I really wanted to enjoy this and while the story is mostly written well, the layout of this book is terrible. Both these necessary evil volumes go issue about between gogo and mmpr but they are no longer separate stories so it makes no sense. We are constantly getting a MMPR story with no explanation as to why or how things happened and then only get the precursor issue to the explain it long after the event has already finished. This made it hard to care about the characters in the precursor’s as we already knew how they turned out and hard to understand what’s happening in mmpr with no backstory to explain anything.
This could have been soooo much better if they had either released gogo and MMPR separately or collected this in chronological order rather than release order.
Storywise, the omega Rangers were fun but most of my time was spent wondering when we would see the Ranger Slayer or Drakkon again, which was very little in these two books.
I will likely read on but I think I’m going to sell each book afterwards as I just don’t think this has the same reread value as the Kyle era stuff.

So I write is with a prerequisite the character writing, and the art throughout is still really good. My biggest problem is at times. It was hard for me to keep track of the plot. Going back-and-forth between the two different series didn’t help. Also, seeing Jason, Traini and Zach leave and the set up for Rocky Ayesha and Adam felt like déjà vu because we had already seen them already integrated with the team already so even though it was a new story a little disorienting. There were some fun crazy fanfic type moments that were really fun in this book which I won’t spoil but a times it felt like the story was in stasis, and not really moving. Even the endings felt like regular cliffhangers and not really like series finales. That having been said if you can keep track the plot you’re in for a good time.

On what could have been a more finepoint conclusion of the story. I overall enjoyed the story. But on my re-read of the necessary evil part in particular. I think I will read it in chronological order. meaning scipping every other issue through part 1 and part 2. And then go back to read the skipped issues to have a more linear story, hopefully!

What an epic finale to this entire story arc from the shattered grid onwards. This truly captures the love of what the Power Rangers is about.

Morphinomenal!

Loved seeing some of these beloved characters reimagined and redesigned.

I didn't get this crossover, I don't know why it was necessary, and I didn't like it.

It wasn't bad: the characterization and art were fine, for example, but the plot didn't do it for me.
