Kidnapped by the Demon King and imprisoned in his castle, Princess Syalis is...bored.
When the Demon Castle collapses (unbelievably, not due to the actions of the usual suspect), its staff and “guest” go glamping in the surrounding environs. Rebuilding is taking too long, however, so Demon King Twilight resorts to drastic measures! Now everyone is afraid of him—except for one resident who still sees him as he truly is. Plus, the princess tries to unveil Fire Venom Dragon, grimoire Alazif finally finds someone to appreciate him, and the hero actually makes some progress!

It has been so long since I last read Sleepy Princess series, this is my first time reading this volume.
I enjoyed it, enjoyed the catastrophe that it is, but love that it is seeming more like the Princess will want to stay. It will be interesting when the Hero Dawner finally arrives.
I do hope that it is slowly coming closer to the end, not because I necessarily want the series to end, but I want it to be strong still when it ends. I don't want the story to feel like it is fizzling out and reusing the same stories over and over again. It is not there yet, but I feel it could get there.

Syalis really came through for the demons here. They would have struggled in the wild. I love tiny twilight and I wanted him and his dad to play together as well. As always eggplant seals and teddy demons are super cute, the eggplant seal on the swing with the good luck sign is just way to cute!

Gasp! the princess blatantly states she has no intention of letting the hero rescue her. The growing mutual fondness and loyalty has been a really fun journey.

-The princess is going to give Twilight an ulcer
-Might, why are you on the princesses side
-Princess, you definitely are not prophetic, You would die a lot less and cause more havoc
-Honestly Posideon, do you think the princess is actually going to return to the human realm with the hero, you know her, is that a likely possibility, really think about it
-See Posideon, now the real question is what will the princess do if she stays because you surely can’t keep her as a hostage indefinitely
-Character development for Alazif
-Complacency breeds failure (failure in this case being having your whole castle collapse)
-Hey, I thought you guys liked camping
-Hopeless all of you are hopeless
-As much as I hate to agree with the princess, having a town nearby makes a lot of sense
-My gosh dragons you are terrible, how have you not ever once seen this guy's face, I think I have seen his face, maybe the baby episode
-Cmon Twilight, show us that new look, you've been holding out on us
-HOT TWILIGHT HOT TWILIGHT HOT TWILIGHT
-He so big and scary, and yet still a bit pathetic at heart
