Jerusalem in The Qur'an
This book has been written for precisely this purpose - to explain to Muslim the strange world in which we live today. It is a world in which the cause of Islam appears to be a lost cause. But having read this book the reader would now know, if he or she had not already known it, that the reality is quite different. When they know for certain that it is the destiny of Jerusalem to give a spectacular validation of Islam's claim to Truth, Muslim should be able to summon the strength to resist the present war on Islam in which the godless world is makng the greatest possible effort to destroy their faith in Allah Most High.

About the author
Imran N. Hosein
52 books200 followersHe was born in the Caribbean island of Trinidad in 1942 from parents whose ancestors had migrated as indentured labourer from India. He is a graduate of the Aleemiyah Institute in Karachi and has studied at sevaral instutions of higher learning including the University of Karachi,the University of the West Indies, Al Azhar University and the Graduate Institute of International Relations in Switzerland
He worked for several years as a Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago but gave up his job in 1985 to devote his life to the mission of Islam.
He lived in New York for ten years during which time he served as the Director of Islamic Studies for the Joint Committee of Muslim Organizations of Greater New York. He lectured on Islam in several American and Canadian universities, colleges, churches, synagogues, prisons, community halls, etc. He also participated in many inter-faith dialogues with Christian and Jewish scholars while representing Islam in USA. He was the Imam, for sometime, at Masjid Dar al-Qur'an in Long Island, New York. He also led the weekly Juma'ah prayers and delivered the sermon at the United Nations headquarters in Manhattan once a month for ten years continuously.
He is a former Principal of the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies in Karachi, Pakistan, Director of Research of the World Muslim Congress in Karachi, Pakistan, Director of the Islamic Institute for Education and Research in Miami, Florida, and Director of D'awah for Tanzeem-e-Islami of North America.
He has traveled continuously and extensively around the world on Islamic lecture-tours since graduating from the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies in 1971 at age 29. And he has also written more than a dozen books on Islam that have invariably been received with public respect. Indeed, 'Jerusalem in the Qur'an - An Islamic View of the Destiny of Jerusalem' has become a best seller and has been translated and published in several languages

For all those who are intrigued by the events taking place globally, and the turmoil that the world, and the middle east in particular is going through, this book offers a unique perspective, one that is not in accord with the perspective offered by CNN,BBC and its likes. The monologue towards the completion of the book was tedious but otherwise it was unputdownable.

Jerusalem in the Qur’an is a great book that thrilled and delighted me in a number of ways. I am surprised that such a meticulously documented book had to wait for such a long time before seeing the light. It is now more than half a century since the Zionists began their appalling oppression and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people whose only offense is that they happened to live in a country considered by the Jews to be their promised Holy Land.
The Zionists have continuously referred to distorted scriptures from the Torah and other Biblical material to justify their atrocious behavior and to motivate the Jews to establish a State of Israel that extends from the Nile to the Euphrates with Jerusalem as its capital.
For example, David Ben Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel, is quoted to have said, The Bible is our deed to the land of Israel. Muslim scholars, on the other hand, have largely failed in refuting Zionist claims from authenticated historical and religious sources and have also failed to accomplish their religious responsibility in clearly documenting this question from the Holy Qur’an and the Blessed Ahadith of our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). As far as I know, whatever is written on this subject is rather superficial and emotionally tainted or simply stating facts in a cool manner.
May Allah Ta’ala reward Brother Imran Hosein for writing this scholarly document, which will indeed fill up this intellectual and religious gap and serve as an academic reference to Muslims in all parts of the world.

ولكن لا املك قدرة تقييم موضوعي لأن الأمر يحتاج الى متخصصين

Must read for Muslims. As I was reading, I really felt like I was waking up from the pseudo-reality that surrounds all of us and has been building up for generations since the time of the Prophet (saw). Even though I am already quite acquainted with current events and religious history, as well as the Qur'an to an extent, I found a lot in this book to be eye-opening and new. Sheikh Imran Hosein really ties together many important aspects of our religion and describes the way it perfectly affirms our reality, past and present as well as warning us of things to come. It is clear that he is very well educated in other matters of the world too. We need more Muslims who are as aware of the politics and the economic systems and things behind the scenes, of history and the spiritual aspect from prophecies, and implications for the future, with the warnings of our Prophet (saw) and Allah (SWT). He backs up his personal theories with well-founded arguments from the Qur'an and Hadith. I have yet to come across anyone who is able to so clearly explain ambiguous subjects of the End Times and put it together with everything else as he has done. An important thing to note is that this book was written in 2002. It has now been over a decade since then yet everything he describes it still happening right now! I really enjoyed this book and have continued onto his other works. May Allah SWT bless him for his efforts and may He protect us all in these trying days, Ameen.

وبرهن على كلامه بالأحاديث والآيات
وهو يبدو واثقاً جداً، ويُطالب من يخالفه الرأي بأن يأتي هو الآخر بالدليل كما أتى هو بالأدلة
محور الحديث هو العلاقة بين القدس ويأجوج ومأجوج والقيامة والمسيح الدجال
لكن بنظرة مختلفة جداً عن نظرتنا التي تتخيل الأمر ربما بعيداً جداً وسيحصل بشكل درامي مخيف
وهو يراه يحدث الآن... وبدون أن نشعر
وبعد كل ذلك، يرى أن على المسلمين أن يجعلوا القدس الهدف الأهم في حياتهم، فتوجّه إلى تحريرها الموارد كافة
وقد استدل على ذلك بالكثير ومن ذلك:
(عن ميمونة قالت: يا رسول الله أفتنا في بيت المقدس، فقال:ائتوه فصلوا فيه، فإن لم تأتوه وتصلوا فيه فابعثوا بزيتٍ يُسرج في قناديله)
وقوله تعالى (لتجدن أشد الناس عداوةً للذين آمنوا اليهود والذين أشركوا )
سآتي على ذكر مفاتيح الأفكار
-القدس، مذكورةٌ في القرآن خلافاً لما يدعي اليهود، وهي المقصودة بـ "القرية" مثلاً في قوله تعالى:
(وحرامٌ على قريةِ أهلكناها أنهم لا يرجعون، حتى إذا فتحت يأجوج ومأجوج وهم من كل حدبٍ ينسلون)
وهي ليست المعنية بقوله "القرية" فقط وإنما بقوله أيضاً "الأرض" على سبيل المثال:
(ولقد كتبنا في الزبور من بعد الذكر أن الأرض يرثها عبادي الصالحون)
وقوله (وإذا وقع القول عليهم أخرجنا لهم دابة من الأرض تكلمهم أن الناس كانوا بآياتنا لا يوقنون)

-اليهود ليسوا جنساً واحداً، هناك يهود أصليون وهم إسرائيليون، وآخرون أوروبيون ملحدون علمانيون، يمتطون الدين فقط.

-اليهود كانوا في الأرض المقدسة ولكن أُخرجوا منها، لأنها وراثة هذه الأرض مشروطة واليهود أخلفوا هذه الشروط فطُردوا أوّل مرة، وسيُطردون مرةً أخرى
(يا قوم ادخلوا الأرض المقدسة التي كتب الله لكم ولا ترتدوا على أدباركم فتنقلبوا خاسرين)
لكن الله حرمها عليهم أربعين سنة لما ردوا ردهم البشع (اذهب أنت وربّك فقاتلا)
وفي موضع آخر (وقلنا من بعده لبني إسرائيل اسكنوا الأرض فإذا جاء وعد الآخرة جئنا بكم لفيفاً)
والوراثة لهذه الأرض مشروطة بدليل قوله : (ولقد كتبنا في الزبور من بعد الذكر أن الأرض يرثها عبادي الصالحون)
ويقول تعالى:
(وقضينا إلى بني إسرائيل لتفسدن في الأرض مرتين ولتعلن علواً كبيراً)
فلما خالف اليهود شروط الوراثة أخرجوا من الأرض، مرة عندما اقتحم نبوخذ نصر البابلي القدس وأحرقها وأخذ اليهود أسرى إلى بابل،
والثانية عندما قتلوا أنبياء الله زكريا ويحيى عليهما السلام، وتبجحوا بقتل عيسى عليه السلام،فحصل بعد ذلك أن حاصر جيشٌ روماني بقيادة تيطس سنة 70 للميلاد وأخرج اليهود

-المسيح الدجّال،
هو الذي يخلقه الله فيتشبّه بالمسيح ليخدع النّاس، وهو يجب أن يحكم العالم من القدس، ولكي يفعل ذلك يجب أن ، يحرر القدس من القوم الذين لا يتبعون ملة إبراهيم، أن يعيد الشعب المختار إلى الأرض المقدسة، أن يجعل إسرائيل تصبح الدولة الحاكمة في العالم.
إنّ بعض الأحاديث تروي رؤية الدجال في جزيرة، والكاتب يدّعي أنّ هذه الجزيرة هي بريطانيا، فهي التي أطلقت وعد بلفور، والتي بدأت بتحقيق ما على الدجال أن يحققه،
ثم يمضي في تفصيل قوله رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :
(عندما يخرج المسيح الدجال سيمكث في الأرض أربعين يوماً،يومٌ كسنة، ويومٌ كشهر، ويومٌ كجمعة، وبقية أيامه كأيامكم)
فمن المستغرب جداً مكوث المسيح الدجال هكذا، وبالتالي فإنّ الأمر مختلف عن المألوف
وهو يدّعي ويفصّل في ادعائه، أن مكوثه كالتالي:
يومٌ كسنة: سيكون هو بريطانيا، وقد تم هذا في أيّام عزها وحكمها
يومٌ كشهر: الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، وهي التي انتقل إليها حكم العالم بعد بريطانيا
يومٌ كجمعة: إسرائيل، وهو ما سيحدث قريباً
وهو أعور، لأنه يبصر بعينه، ولكنه لا يبصر بقلبه.

(قالوا يا ذا القرنين إن يأجوج ومأجوج مفسدون في الأرض، فهل نجعل لك خرجاً على أن تجعل بيننا وبينهم سداً)
الكات�� يدّعي أن يأجوج ومأجوج هم اليهود الأوروبيون الملحدون العلمانيون ، لكثرة ما تنطبق عليهم من صفات يأجوج ومأجوج، الذين وصفوا مثلاً في حديث رسول الله أنهم قوة لا تُقهر (كما تدعي إسرائيل)
ورجوع اليهود ��لى الأرض المقدسة (احتلال فلسطين) هو الدليل على أن الردم الذي بناه ذو القرنين قد انهدم وانتهى الأمر!

-النظام العالمي اليوم، قائم على الشرك السياسي ( والشرك في الإسلام ذنبٌ لا يُغتفر) واقتصادها قائم على الربا، ولذلك فهم خالفوا شروط الوراثة، وسيدحضون وينهزمون ويُخرجون من الأرض المقدسة التي احتلوها ، وفي هذا السياق نتذكر قوله تعالى :
(يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وذروا ما بقي من الربا إن كنتم مؤمنين، فإن لم تفعلوا فأذنوا بحرب من الله ورسوله ...)
وهكذا فعلى المسلمين مقاطعة هذه الأنظمة المشركة العلمانية، والتوقف عن التعامل بالنظام الربوي، وتوجيه طاقاتهم لمحاربة هذه القوة، لأنها زائلة لا محالة.

-بحر الجليل ، وهو ذاته بحيرةُ طبريّا ، الذي بدأ منسوبه بالانخفاض وهو مستمرٌ في ذلك ، ومن المعروف أن يأجوج ومأجوج يشربون من بحيرة طبريا حتى تجف عن آخرها.

وفي الكتاب أبوابٌ أخرى، وشرحٌ مفصّل مع أدلة كثيرة، استطاعت إقناعي بأن وجهة النظر هذه قد تكون صحيحة فعلاً، ولأنّها لا تمسّ حياتي بشكل مباشر، والتفكير بهذه الطريقة لا يغير رسالتي أو طريقي، فلذلك لم أتبحّر بالموضوع، لأقرر هل آخذ فيه أو لا ، غير أنّني سآخذ وجهة النظر هذه بعين الاعتبار.

As usual Sheikh Imran is inspiring. But as this is one of his early books I believe he excelled in his later ones especially Surat El Kahf in Modern Times. Sheikh Imran is doing humanity a great job by shedding light on what real Islam can offer as a solution to the global economic crisis..as well as an escape for muslims from the snare of so-called illusionary democracy.
P.S. I read arabic translation as the online version is abridged with exclusion of Arabic Quranic verses which I really missed.

For people who are absorbed by some of the worldwide happenings especially on what is going on in the Middle East, Imran Hosein gives an exclusive perspective, something not parallel with Western mainstream media and the likes. It provides a thought-provoking interpretation of eschatology, judgement day and certain current events. The more profound understanding of Jerusalem according to the Islamic perspective allows readers to think about why certain events had unfolded the way it has and that the Quran and hadith provide the truth.

This book is way better than Dan Brown's Inferno. It's about the prophecies that was foretold in the Quran. Excellent stuff.

Read this 20yrs ago. Many events have transpired after this but its still a gem for historical knowledge on the oppression and occupation and how it was already revealed in the Quran.

I gained clarity upon reading this one. I’ve never taken the time to immerse myself in the history of Al Quds, to be honest. So when Shaykh Omar Suleiman (during a Faith Events talk in KL back in 2022) said that it’d be such a shame if we as muslims don’t resonate with the story of Al Aqsa, Palestine & the oppression happening for more than 70 years, I was truly moved. More like feeling ashamed with myself, embarrassed even, that I haven’t done anything to understand the situation happening there.
I mustered my courage to choose this book when boss decided to treat us (YNS & I) Kinokuniya gifts. Alhamdulillah finally finished reading this today.
May Allah reward the people of Palestine with the highest jannah, for their patience & relentless will to stand for the ummah.

December 13, 2021I Thank Allah. The Father and Mother of my Soul for letting walk and follow their foot prints to my Faith for 35 years and counting. May my whole physical family turn their back to me. Doesnt matter anymore. What counts most is I understood what is FamilySheep means and brotherhood and Sisterhood means.
If we only knew, what is the purpose of Holy City Jerusalem ( Heaven) that already came down as the Bride to give us Holy Water of Life. And to gave us Birth willing to be born again in Spirit and in Truth.

An interesting interpretation of escathology (end of the world) ahadith and events to date. Even though I may disagree on certain points, however this book succeed in putting this whole topic into an Islamic perspective and gives a deeper understanding of the situation of Jerusalem today. This book was written in 2002 but still relevant especially reading in 2019.

Valuable knowledge and inoculates many questions. The author has a grasp on world politics that even to this day(2021) many of his points are easily identifiable. A worthwhile read for anyone interested in these subjects laid out. Easily re-readable and has enough lasting message that warrants pondering and referencing back to.

Even if you were a person without faith or not part of a particular religion - there is clear wisdom and explanation to the state of the world today found in this book - and especially true the more time passes by - once again an excellent penetration of the Quran and the gems contained within it by my favourite Islamic scholar we are blessed to learn from. May Allah SWT further help this man’s wisdom spread and wake mankind up - especially within the Muslim Ummah.

Everyone wants to be a nostradamus these days. A fickle knowledge of history, and trying to manipulate and re manipulate the facts to one's own end, a perfect example of how religious method is contrary to scientific method, it will use anything in its path as a proof of truth to its established falsehood, whereas science claims to know nothing, no established facts, and deals blows to every falsehood it encounters. When will people understand that truth is what is clear, and not murky, it doesn't need to be interpret in a certain way, muddled behind cobwebs of these liars. Next, he will call even Romans, the cursed tribe. Sesuatu yang sangat menarik tentang buku ini, ia sangat mudah difahami dan sangat menarik lantaran Imran N. Hosein menulisnya dengan menggunakan pendekatan penulisan sebuah tesis, tetapi dikombinasikan dengan fakta-fakta sejarah dan hujah-hujah agama. Selain itu, Imran N. Hosein juga mencerakinkan peristiwa semasa (cetakan pertama buku ini adalah pada tahun 2002) dan menmbahaskannya dengan menggunakan Al-Qura'an dan Hadis.
Sudah tentu naskhah Jerusalem in the Quran ini menjadi salah sebuah naskhah yang akan saya letakkan di bahagian "Red Sport" di rak buku saya.

Kita bisa lihat bagaimana Bangsa Yahudi, Yajuj & Majuj saat ini telah menguasai perekonomian global--yang berlandaskan riba--serta dampaknya bagi peradaban manusia modern. Mekanisme uang kertas bisa disimak detilnya pas beliau ceramah, bisa search di youtube "Islam & the International Monetary System", yang jelas ilmu eskatologi Islam menurut gwa jauh lebih keren ketimbang pilm LOTR produksi Holiwud.
