“I never could have imagined it would be you. You’re my Santa?”
Donovan Woodward was the type to start playing Christmas music as soon as the temperatures dropped below seventy. He couldn’t wait for warm blankets, homemade ornaments, and writing his letter to Santa.
Most of all, Donovan loves the Secret Santa gift exchange his boss hosted every year. But when a handsome stranger shows up, he finds himself wanting a different kind of gift.
Will this stranger be able to grant his greatest Christmas wish by becoming Donny’s forever Daddy?
Grant Moore never cared much for holidays growing up. He was the eldest of his family, and often he had responsibilities that took away the magic of the season. By the time he reached thirty, he figured there was no changing his ways.
When his buddy Tank invites him to the NightShade Productions holiday party, he attends for lack of anything else to do. He didn’t expect to find an actual fairy floating around tossing Christmas magic at the guests.
Will Grant be able to thaw his cold exterior for the sweet, young Donovan?
This holiday season is full of secrets. Secret Daddies that is. Follow four of your favorite MM authors as they bring you tales of kisses, cuddles, and holiday cheer. Each Secret Santa Daddy book is a standalone and can be read in any order.
----------------------------- This story features characters from Club Deny, Princess Pen Pals, as well as a few new faces you’ve only heard by name.
It's a short little book, less than 200 pages, but it is filled with love on each page. Donovan, (Donny) Woodward loved everything about Christmas...the music...the lights...but most of all his letter to Santa...he could hardly wait. This year he told Santa a BIG secret...one he hadn't even told his best friend. He wanted a "Daddy" to care for him and love him.
It's time for the Secret Sants gift exchange at his place of work and that was always fun. He could hardly believe his eyes when a handsome stranger arrived at the party making Donny want an entirely different kind of gift. Maybe with any luck this handsome older man just might be his "forever Daddy"! The stranger was Grant Moore who had found his brothers, and his mother off on a Christmas cruise so agreed to attend his friend, and Donny's boss's holiday gift exchange party. What he least expected to find was a fairy floating around tossing Christmas glitter magic at the guests. Grant wanted more than his next breath to be able to be something special and important for this young man...Donovan (Donny).
I love A.W. Scotts' books. I own several including this one, so I wasn't surprised at how much I enjoyed this little story. The two guys definitely found love at first sight even though that was across a large room, and they hadn't even been introduced yet. Grant's entire family "adopted" Donny and became his family. There was also a very clear communication l at the end of every date. The book was easy to read, with a lot of warm feelings.
Another VERY fluffy read. Like super insta love and everything happens in a few days. It wasn't bad but I did feel like I was missing out because the author included characters from her other books but didn't take any time to actually introduce them so unless you've read every single book by her, the scene where they all meet up is confusing and overdone. Other than that, it was fine. I'll probably attempt to read some of her other books in the new year but they may be too saccharine for even me, which is saying something.
A cute, fluffy insta-love story with no angst or drama. It would have been even better without all the careless spelling errors and missing words that a simple read-through would have caught.
Good friends take care of their special friends and keep things in the family. But as the number of people who know increases and the happiness spreads, extra special dates happen. Webster is finally able to reveal his problem and will find the support that he needs. Donny is the luckiest Christmas Fairy ever. Glitter galore!

I enjoyed this story with Grant who had not had a real reason to enjoy the holidays and Donny who just loved them. They definitely suffered from love at first sight even though that was across a large room and they were not immediately introduced. I loved how Grant's entire family adopted Donny so that he was no longer without his own family which was so nice. I loved the clear communication lesson at the end of the daily dates. Easy to read, feel and understand. This MM story contains mature content in a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.
Pretty typical Daddy/little-ish story with a sunny Christmas elf who meets a Christmas grump who is his boss's friend. The minute Grant sees Donny at the Christmas party he's smitten and sneaks an invitation to a week's worth of dates into Donny's secret Santa gift. Of course they are instantly in love but Donny fears that after a week it's over as Grant will be busy in the new year.
There are lots of characters from other books, some I'd read others, I hadn't so if you are into all of the author's series it will probably be more delightful. It's pretty typical insta-love and I thought Grant went from being a grump (his family did seem a bit rude/oblivious) to being sweetly overly in love, but hey, I know that's how these books go. So if that's what you are in the mood for, it works.
Another short, sweet read from this series! I loved the "glance across a crowded room" that brought Donny and Grant together!
Do you know what would have made this story so much better... PROOFREADING! It is a wonderful tool that more M/M authors need to take advantage of... just sayin'! I was tempted to take a star off because of all of the obvious errors, but I just couldn't because Donny was just so darn adorable! *grin*
I plan to find time to work in some Princess Aster and some Club Deny stories in the New Year!
Cute Daddy/boy holiday book. Donovan writes a letter to Santa asking for a Daddy for Christmas. Grant is invited by a friend to a holiday party and is unknowingly drawn into the Secret Santa gift exchange. As Donovan’s SS, Grant secretly asks for 6 dates and gives Donovan his number.
Sweet relationship building. Crazy friends and cameos by MCs from the author’s backlist of books.
Another super cute one from AW Scott. I loved Donovan as he was so stinking cute. I loved how much he loved Christmas and bringing joy to people. He is such a fun sassy character who is so good at his job. Grant was also great. Since he’s on break for the book you don’t get to ever see lawyer Grant but I loved the sweetheart of a Daddy he becomes for Donovan. A cute story with instalove and finding your special someone. That someone who loves all parts of you and accepts you for who you are. Loved it!
This was a sweet story about a Christmas crazy young man and his accidental secret Santa, who took a chance and ran with it. They are so cute together, and Grant, the daddy is so sweet about making Donny’s Christmas dreams come true! I also loved the help Grant received from the man at the coffee shop (I expected him to magically disappear) and their friends from all walks of life! I’m looking forward to more of their stories!
This was a cute one. Donovan an over the top lover of all things Christmas, and Grant who's kind of a Scrooge, until he spies Donovan in his Christmas Angel costume at a Christmas party. It's a Daddy/Boy story, but Donovan isn't a little, just endearing. I loved the six nights of dates Grant planned for Donovan, especially the movie one. I love these sweet Secret Santa stories, and I immediately started Season 2.
It was sweet. Felt like another spin off I've missed with the group of friends. I have no clue what was going on with Wade, it was a set up that didn't fit. Not really that curious either. I liked Grant and Donny. It was sweet, they had a chance to get to know each other. Tank was great support. Mostly smooth and heartwarming with a boy getting his wish and finding new friends too. The glitter throws made me cringe.

An adorable story that was sweet from beginning to end. Donny and Grant were great characters and had chemistry from the start. Grant went out of his way to make their dates imaginative and fun for Donny. The secondary characters were interesting and made me want to read their stories, which I will be doing.
I love the secret Santa daddy series. They are written by three very talented authors. Each book has a happy ever after and s super sweet relationship between a daddy and his boy. I really hope the authors collaborate on a season three because these are truly fantastic stories.
Daddy Claus is a perfect read for the holidays. Light and sweet, a guaranteed HEA. Donny and Grant have lovely chemistry. And the dates that Grant comes up with are imaginative and fun. Interesting secondary characters. Can see a series with them!
I enjoyed Donny and Grant’s book! It’s sweet, no angst, and filled with Christmas cheer. There are appearances from characters from the Club Deny series and the Princess Pen Pals series, which adds to the fun!
Now that’s how you get a Daddy Clays. I especially liked the side characters, some new and some old. I really enjoy the sense of community the author has it their different series. That connection makes the world much more real. I hope we see more of Donny and Grant.
I like the simple way that Donny and Grant get together. They just seem to be made for each other and are a good fit. Donavan knows himself and can take care of himself but yet having a Daddy makes his life so much more. Grant is a great and caring man and is ready to give Donny what he needs.
I’m not sure why KU is recommending Christmas stories to me in April, but the meet cute set up in this one sounded sweet and worth a quick scan. Overall this was an okay-ish read which had a couple of weird interludes that did not seem to be part of the story but rather call-outs to other books.
I enjoyed this story of Insta love. Super sweet and good to get you in the mood for Christmas. Looking forward to finding the stories of the secondary characters.
I thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas story. I was so intrigued by the characters and their world that I am going to go through the author's back list and get caught up.
How can two men with such different takes on Christmas find happiness? Maybe Mr. Wright at their favorite coffee shop might know! Enjoy Grant and Donny’s story while sipping your own favorite hot drink!!!
This started out as a quirky Christmas story, turned into a cute story, then got a little too daddified, then just ended. A lot of gaps and missing/unresolved pieces. It has potential but needs a rewrite and proper see through.
This was a sweet Christmassy book, I feel like a lot of the secondary characters were confusing to me as I didn’t know them so going back to check them out.
