Adley: Nobody thinks that a pretty woman holds dark secrets, but then again, the world only sees what we allow it to. I was raised by very bad people. I learned to do very bad things—things that others would see as depraved. I was fine living my life in the shadows, going unseen… Until he stepped from the abyss. When Stitch first saw me, something in his psychotic and misunderstood mind claimed me as his. He stole me. Captured me. Consumed me and refused to let me go until I loved him. It wasn’t that hard. But now my past is knocking, and my crazy man is about to find out that I don’t need protection from anyone. Least of all from those I grew up with. He stitched me back together, but now, he must watch as I unravel. Can he handle the true me?
Stitch: I’m sick. I’m twisted. I care for nothing. I’m violent, psychotic, and broken. No amount of stitches can stop my black heart from weeping. I found her in a crowd. She thinks that I don’t see the demons that she hides. I follow, I stalk, I consume. I take her from the world that she once knew. I don’t understand why she fights, but I know that I’ll never let her go. Not until she loves me. It’s her darkness which lures me in. It will be my darkness which makes her stay.

This book is dark, a testament to the cruelties that sometimes happen behind closed doors and in life, and I found it hard to read many times because of it. But I continued because I needed to see Stitch get his well-deserved HEA, especially because I’ve loved him since book 1.
Possible spoilers:
Stitch/Wolf has always been a shadow, a man in the dark, and he’s always there when you think no one is. He formed a bond to not only Maleia (h from book 1) and her babies (omg I loved seeing the triplets), but the brothers as well. He’s quiet yet very deadly when he’s needed, and I admire him for it. He’s gone through a lot in his life, A LOT, and his story was heartbreaking, gruesome, and sickening. I wanted to hug him so much! I cried for him, rooted for him, but also grieved for what he lost as a child. What he went through as a child NO ONE should ever go through. As a mother, and a human in general, I was angry to the fact that he didn’t feel the love he should’ve felt🥺❤️.
Enter Adley/Riot (29). This blue-haired bad a$$ has also gone through so much in her life. She was abused mentally, physically, and psychologically. She was also deprived of the life that a normal child should have experienced, and she (like Stitch) has the scars to prove it😞. The things she went through made my stomach hurt more than Stitch’s story (which is why I found it hard to read many times). Her plight is a horrible one, and I could only cry for her as well. Luckily, she got strong, she escaped, and she’s seeking vengeance.
When Stitch and Riot meet, their connection’s instant. She doesn’t trust anyone- can you blame her? She’s seen and gone through so much- things no one should ever go through. Their first interactions are violent, yet somehow, they’re able to see through their masks and find the attraction they feel for each other. Both are virgins, since neither have ever found anyone suitable to be with, and when they’re finally together, it’s PRIMAL🔥, raw, PASSIONATE 🥵, visceral, and, well, bloody 😅. They take knife play to another level. And they both agree, they are each other’s person, and I felt that- through their struggles, they could see that their connection was soul-deep ❤️and beautiful🥺. They needed each other in order to mend the cracks life has splintered them with.
They have tasks they need to accomplish; although Riot’s used to doing it alone, she’s forced to receive the help Stitch’s giving her, one she didn’t know she needed because she’s always been by herself. Not anymore ❤️.
I also loved how willing the MC was in accepting her into their house, even though Riot had a hard time believing in their camaraderie and family-style beliefs. Many times I just wanted to smack her because of it, but I understood her hesitation ❤️.
The dark aspect got to me a lot in this book😏. I knew going in that it was dark, so I didn’t take stars away for that, but the graphic abuse and violence didn’t set well with me. It’s been a while since I read a book this dark. I loved that through it all, both Stitch and Riot were able to find happiness once they found each other, but it broke my heart seeing the abuse they both endured as children.
The book is told in both flashback mode and present time. We see what they both experienced growing up, and it gutted me. When I got to the end, I was satisfied. Both Stitch and Riot DESERVED HAPPINESS after all they endured. I love the HEA we get ❤️. Finally, they found their soul mates, and I can smile knowing that they’re happy.
Overall, it’s a good book, but the darkness got to me a lot.

Received an ARC Another dark intense read in this series. I'll admit, the first parts of the book were almost too dark. I don't think I can say I was 'enjoying' it as much as I was simply captured. Captured by the beautiful yet painfully written words to describe Stitch and his ' Blue sun'. Adley was a little hard for me so I didn't immediately like her. I kept wanting a softer person for Stitch even though though I realized he needed someone exactly like her. I loved Savage in this story. I wish there would have been more of Ouija included. Hopefully he will be more involved in future stories. I absolutely loved Stitch and all his broken pieces. Another well written story.
To me this is not as good as the first book. Yes it's intensely dark and twisted but you have so much inner monologue and then the s€xy times it takes away from the story. Just needed more.
Genre: Dark MC Romance Book Length: Novel POV: First Person; Alternating Dual Male M/C: Stitch is an enforcer in the Kings Wolves MC. He has a tortured past and struggles with his darkest urges. Stitch is handsome with many scars and tattoos. He has long curly hair and dark eyes. Female M/C: Adley is strong, intelligent and deadly. She also has a very tortured past and is hunting down someone who was involved in hurting her. She is 29, has blue hair and dark eyes. Spice Level: Medium Frequency of Spice: Medium Angst Level: Low Standalone or Series: Standalone but connected to a series. Cliffhanger: No Epilogue: Yes Would I Recommend? Yes My Review: This was my first time reading a book by this author and I was really impressed. Stitch is a roller coaster ride that is action packed and really engaging. The story of Stitch and Adley is quite dark and oftentimes very sad and violent. There were parts that just made my heart ache for these two extremely tortured souls that just want to find the one person in the world that understands and loves them beyond reason. The chemistry between Stitch and Adley was incredible and I really felt their deep connection, obsession, and love. The only critique I have is the continuity and flow was sometimes hard to follow. It seemed to jump around a bit and it took a moment to figure out what was happening. Otherwise it was an excellent story and I look forward to reading more from this series and author. Advanced copy provided via the author in exchange for my honest review.
Wow just wow emmaleigh did it again and I have to say this one was my favorite of them all. You can feel the pain and heartache in her words you can see what's going on though her writing. I love how strong the female characters are and not just being strong but emotionally not letting the *** holes win. I love how strong the men feel about there women and family they are not shy about showing everyone that these people matter to them. This book will pull at your heart strings and make you want to start stitching as well. Emmaleigh has you feeling everything the characters feel makes you want to stand up and help fight.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I was instantly hooked from the dark and twisted prologue! Stitch suffered abuse from his father at a young age making him grow up to become a killer. Stitch, and his MC protect and save people while punishing the villains. Although, after what Stitch has been through, he can’t express his emotions and sees himself as a villain too. Adley also grew up suffering at the hands of monsters, experiencing horrible things. She now takes revenge by murdering evil monsters. Together the two have to learn how to trust, learn what family and love are. This is a dark romance, and the spicy is amazing! Please check trigger warnings before reading!
Ok so …wow! Omg I’m still reeling from this one. I received an arc of stitch and devoured it in 24 hours! I loved it, I won’t go into the storyline and risk spoilers but it’s so dark and delicious! I would say heed the trigger warnings as it does get incredibly dark pretty much from the first chapter so any sensitive Sally’s might wanna give it a miss …if trigger warnings send you running for ya kindle then your all good and you will love stitch and his little riot 😍 well done Emmaleigh this book is fire 🔥🔥
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for this book. From the beginning the story sucked me in, dragged me through the carnage and played with my emotions. This book is very dark and depraved, but far from predictable. There are spicy scenes, that fit, it’s not forced, and are very descriptive. If you have any triggers please read the warnings at the beginning of the book.
“Is love enough in a world full of hate?”
I can’t wait to see where this story will go next in book 4.
I have read the previous books in this series and this one for me was a bit drawn out and lingering in places that could have been shorter. For instance at the beginning when Stitch's being abused by the father it went on just a bit too long for me.
That being said I love how these heroes are possessive. Stitch is dark and the heroine matches him perfectly.
I would love to see where this series goes and where everyone ends up.
Received as an ARC This book was AMAZING!! It was my first Emmaleigh Loader book and I will definitely be reading more! The way she provided so much insight into the Stitches and Adley’s life and struggles is beautiful. It is a truly dark and beautiful romance story and I just couldn’t get enough. There are triggers so make sure to check for those. One of my favorite book couples so far!
I think this has been my favorite book of the series so far. That’s not much of a surprise, considering I’ve wanted Stitch’s book since we met him in Savage. I also knew that his story was going to be dark, violent, disturbing, and brutal, and that the woman who brought him to his knees would likely be all those things as well. I was not wrong. I had no idea, however, that I would be a complete goner for Stitch by chapter three.
As with the rest of this series, be sure to check your TWs. Both Stitch and Adley have been through some horrifically devastating events in their childhoods that have thoroughly shaped their adult lives. And I’m talking some next level, truly horrendous stuff. It has led them to always keep others at an arms length, while still being fiercely protective of those they care about. It’s a chance *almost* encounter that brings Adley to Stitch’s attention, and it’s actually a perfect moment - it makes absolute sense that this woman would immediately entrance him. And as things about his past start to come to a head at the MC, things he desperately wants to stay in the past, he finds himself searching for escape, and stalking the blue haired beauty that intrigues him so much becomes his way out.
Adley is living her life as a vigilante. Craving blood, but only wanting to hurt those who deserve it. She’s also out for her own vengeance, constantly on the search for her past demons that aren’t yet dead. As Stitch observes from his ever present shadows, Adley isn’t entirely unaware that he’s there. They have a very dark and twisted game of cat and mouse that they play, and without even really realizing it, getting under each other’s skin. Of course, when things start to spiral, Stitch makes a bold move, and essentially kidnaps Adley, bringing her back to the MC clubhouse. Thing is, she’s not all that upset about it. But not everything is wine and roses, there’s plenty of discord, and the MC is ever protective of Stitch, while he is ever protective of Adley. As more and more of her story is revealed, and more and more of Stitch’s past is brought to light, they are barreling together towards what could be either destruction, or perfection. When Adley’s past demons poke the dragon that is the King’s Wolves MC, it’s no surprise that utter violence and terror will reign. This book doesn’t hold back from anything, and be it violence or lust, it’s intense, and bloody.
This book is also full of emotional ups and downs that break your heart and then piece it slowly back together again. If you don’t have any qualms with darkness and violence, the love story that is Stitch and Adley is worth every second.
Emmaleigh Loader has done it again. I did not believe it was possible for her to surpass herself after Savage and Ouija. But for once, I am glad I was wrong. There is only one ord to describe Stitch - PHENOMENAL. From the first time, I came upon Stitch in the previous books, I was falling in love with his twisted and dark side. But I was missing his background story, and were crossing my fingers, that I would get the chance to dive into his past. This is exactly what I got the chance for, from the very first page of this book. Even though this book at times can be very dark and a bit scary (there were some pages, where I needed to have the lights on), Emmaleigh achieves to outweigh it with humor and sarcasm. I can hardly recommend you to read the intire series, and I can almost promise, you will fall in love with Stitch and his twisted worlview from the first time you meet him.
I have been looking forward to Stitchs book since the beginning of this series.... and oh my goodness, I was NOT disappointed.
I love everything about this book.
Please be warned that this one is significantly darker in content than the first 2 books, so please check the triggers before diving in.
It hurt my heart to see what Stitch went through in his past and holy moly. I just wanted to hug him and erase it all from his memory. Also, my heart absolutely stopped when I thought that he had died. Like for real, I thought my heart was gonna just burst through my chest. And then when the next chapter starts and Riot is dressed for a funeral, I was so close to sending Emma Leigh a message crying asking why she killed him, haha.
Riot is an absolute hoot and a half, I knew I was going to like her the moment she just stepped over the dead body and kept walking, haha. And the sass, like I fully understand why she does the things she does after her childhood was the way it was. I love that everyone accepts her just the way they do Stitch, and I am so happy he finally found someone to love that understands him.
Darkness calls to Darkness.
I can't wait to start the next one! And if it ends on a cliffhanger, I will be starting a petition to get the next one quicker hehe (jokes, of course)
This is the fourth book I have read by Emmaleigh Loader, and it is by far my favorite! I have been looking forward to Stitch's book since he was introduced in the first book, Savage. Stitch is a character that keeps to the shadows and has a dark aura. But, he is also fiercely protective of his made family. He is a very intriguing character indeed. His book did not disappoint.
I loved the dark delve into Stitch's past, and I believe the Riot is a prefect match for his smudged soul. They both have deeply upsetting things happen to them in the past, and their characters were carved from their backstory's. As much as I wanted Stitch to have a sweet love interest, it just would not have fit his character. I think Riot and him have great chemistry and I loved seeing their relationship grow and evolve. They were on each other's wavelengths and like two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together.
This book is very dark. In fact, it is the darkest out of all of the author's books so far. With that said, please check trigger warnings. If you don' have any triggers, then I 100% recommend this book. It has great depth, spice, character development, plot and has a perfect mix of dark. Overall, I loved this book and read it within a few hours. I couldn't put it down!
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC of this book. I was not obligated to provide a review and these are my own opinions.
I have to say, Stitch’s story is the one I have been waiting for since we first met him in Savage. Then with that teaser at the end of Straightjacket…. I knew I needed this book immediately! Emmaleigh didn’t disappoint. This one is definitely my favorite, so far.
This books starts with us learning more about Stitch’s childhood trauma. The thing that broke something in him making him at home with blood and the shadows. Then while Stitch is being Stitch, he locks on to Adley. Her darkness calls to his own, and he has to have her. But what happens when they are both extra psycho?!? A little stalking; a little blood shed; a little death(okay, maybe a lot of death). It’s a wild ride, full of darkness, but also a love like no other.
This book is just so, so good! It captured me from the first page. I couldn’t put it down and was finished in a few hours. The only thing I will say is please heed the trigger warnings. This is a dark book. Very horrible things happen to the main characters as children. This didn’t stop me from loving the book, but I don’t have any triggers.
Ever since book one of this series, I have been DYING to get a Stitch story. He has been one of my favorite characters, and the author absolutely delivered on his story.
Stitch suffered pretty severe abuse from his father at a very early age. Adley has also suffered abuse and has now taken her life into her own hands. Both are killers, killing the monsters that lurk in the dark, but when they come together, their own monsters match perfectly.
This book is dark and starts off in a very dark place, so please check trigger warnings. Stitch has dealt with so much and it adds an incredible amount of insight to why he is the why he is. Maleia seen him for who is was and not the monster he portrays, and now we can see that side of him too.
The writing is, as always, phenomenal and goes above and beyond any expectations I could have.
Where do I even begin with this dark masterpiece?!
I love Stitch so much as a character I book married him 😅 certificate and all 🤣
This is the 4th book in the Kings Wolves MC and by far my favourite. He’s been the most anticipated character since he first graced the pages in Savage. Let me tell you, he doesn’t disappoint! His history is so tragic my heart broke for him. Adley’s really isn’t any better. It truly is a story of two broken souls coming together to find peace.
I loved all the emotion in Stitch’s character and really being able to learn about him as a person, in and out of the club. Experiencing his pain, confusion, obsession and lust and finally learning and accepting love!!!
Adley is bad ass and definitely a psycho. Like calls to like! However, as crazy as they Both are, there was great soft and vulnerable moments between them which I loved!
There was some really great moments from Savage and Maleai too which was cool to see. I adore the banter from the guys in the MC.
This book is DARK AF, so check triggers but was also 🥵🥵🥵 and had some absolutely beautiful moments. What an evolution in writing.
I thought this was a dark and steamy beautiful masterpiece and Wolf will be one of my all time fav dark characters for years to come.
This is the third book in the series and I’ve been desperate to find out exactly what happened to Stitch and what his secrets are. Bloody hell this book definitely doesn’t disappoint, though my heart breaks for Stitch even more than before I knew anything. What happened to him as a child and the god awful things his father did to him are beyond horrific and honestly probably beyond anything you can possibly imagine. It certainly explains a lot about him and it breaks your heart all over again. Then along comes Adley and wow! Just when you truly think no one can understand some of what he’s been through and why he’s how he is, there is Adley with her own version of hell that she survived as a child and is still dealing with now. Quite how can two very disturbed and messed up people function day to day, let alone find someone to love is a mystery but they find each other. It’s explosive to say the least. As always with these books, expect the unexpected, and you will surely get it. This book is brilliantly dark and disturbed but worth every second spent reading it. I’m excited for the next book.
Get ready for an emotional upheaval with Stitch. *I thought * I was ready to experience his story after Book 1 of Kings Wolves MC, Savage. As dark as Stitch is,he always finds ways to endear himself to me by protecting the vulnerable, and showing loyalty to those he cares for. In this story,we see why his sense of justice is so raw,and his need to mete out punishment is unrelenting. I can't say that I necessarily enjoyed these moments and accounts of childhood abuse, but they certainly add context to his state of mind, and I felt them essential to his arc. Get ready for all the feels, and measures of Love Lust Redemption, and dare I say it...Hope. Adley is everything you'd hope for in our FMC. Emmaleigh is great at writing fierce, resilient, strong females, and she is no exception.
"I'm without Mercy, not emotion" Bad***! 😎
Heed all TW's,this book has more than a smidgen of Dark and Steamy content.
Now this was definitely a love🖤story that I never knew I needed😍 Well... maybe I did know once I had finished reading book one, Savage. Since meeting Stitch I knew I had to know his story, and needed him to have his own happy ending. Here we are finally, and it was everything 🙌 ❤️. I seriously can't wait for book four. I need more, especially with that last chapter. I love that with each new book, we get someone else's story, while also getting more on the ones we already know. Who knew an MC of Psychos could be so d@mn good. I have to say that Stitch is my favorite, and I couldn't be happier the way his story went, and I'm dying for more. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Stitch had a horrible childhood after the age five but, he learned to survive. Riot had a tragic life after the age six but, learned to survive. The two come together and have a horribly tragic beautiful future 😉.
The author uses imagery to immerse you into the the lives of Stitch and Riot. You feel like these are your feelings, like your right there experiencing all that they are. She gives you her version of little nursery rhymes for me, to make me laugh and to show you the innocence of the characters. This book was so good I couldn't put it down. Check this out, I can't wait for the next one. Happy reading!🙋🏽♀️
Oh goodness Emmaleigh you've done it again! I am usually not into dark MC romances. I tend to go for less intense, but Emmaleigh has a way to hook you and keep you wanting to finish! Same as her other books head the *trigger warnings! But after reading the other 3 in the series I was desperate for Stich's book, he has one hell of a story! I'll admit Adley isn't my favorite in the beginning, but she is quite the match for our man Stitch. I love reading follow up bits from previous stories too. I just can't wait to know what's to come...
Stitch is book three in the Kings Wolves MC series. This is Stitch and Adley's book. I will say that if you ha e any triggers concerning blood, gore and graphic scenes this book will not be for you. This is the book I've been dying to read so much. The author throws no punches and holds nothing back when it comes to Stitch and Adley. Their book is very dark and isn't for the faint hearted. I am excited to see what next.
I have been waiting for Stitch since Savage, yes, he's disturbed, yes, he's damaged, yes he's a killer but I love him. He had it hard growing up with abuse from the one person who was supposed to love and protect him, but he does good protecting those who need it, though not within the law. Then he meets Adley she has also battled monsters and demons growing up, and he decides she is the one for him, but then the monsters return.
I’ve been waiting for Stitch’s story since the beginning of this series and it did NOT disappoint! Not a fan of spoilers but the story line is intense and dark. Heed the trigger warnings if you have triggers. While it may not be a “feel good love story” it was a love story about two people who feel unworthy and like monsters who learn to love each other. 5 stars for sure!
“ I well and thoroughly destroyed his perfect doll and created a monster. “
I fell in love with Stitch when I read Savage. I loved this book, it was dark and emotional. Stitch’s childhood wrecked me. Stitch and Adley are cut from the same psychopathic cloth. I loved how twisted this book was. This is the fourth book I have read by this author and so far it’s my favorite.
This book has entered my dark romance heart and isnt leaving anytime soon. It was a raw story that half of the time my head and heart were in a battle with eachother because it was one loved it and the other was like what are you reading lol. It is a story that you need to brace for when reading because just like the author said they are some parts that are to hard to handle but the storyline itself with its characters is a must read.
This book gives you the back story of how Stitch became Stitch and the "monster" that lives within. During the story, Stitch meets Adley, a monster that can match his monster. Their love story is anything but simple because of past abuse. I appreciate the unconventional HEA. NOTE: Beware of the trigger warnings! There are instances of child abuse and murder in the book. This is truly a dark romance and readers will need to have an open mind when entering into the minds of Stitch and Adley!
This was my first book by Emmaleigh, and based on what I just read, it won't be the last. I don't know what I was expecting, but it sure wasn't this. Adley and Stitch bring out the best in each other, allowing them to be themselves without judgment. These two killers have such tragic back stories. I cried during a few of the flashbacks.
