The story pulled me right in! I enjoyed the style of this mystery, jumping between the memoirs of the antagonist and the real time pursuit by the police and FBI to prevent more abductions. I got pulled in by the mystery and wanted to know more, so kept turning pages through to the end. I couldn’t help but like the main character, Amelia. Her character is quite believable, and I like the little faux pas that the author uses to make characters and events even more human and believable. The end came too soon.
It’s been so long since I found a book that kept me up reading until 4am, but this one sure did! I literally could not put it down! It had my brain going, and just pulled me right in. If you are looking for a fantastic read look no further! This is the book for you! Anxiously waiting for book 2 to drop!
Good story, well written, intriguing tale. Held my attention throughout the story, very disappointed that this is a cliff hanger with many story aspects left without answers. 4 stars due to the need to obtain additional books.
My thanks to goodreads and the book’s giveaway sponsors for the opportunity to obtain and read a copy of this book.
The editing is poorly lacking, with words missing in sentences, causing the reader to try to guess at the meaning. Without a conclusion I cannot tell if it’s as predictable as it seems or not.
I won this book but when I checked with Amazon to download it says it my Kindle may not be a compatible device. 4 Mar. 23 I can now read this book. I am enjoying it. I am not finished yet and want to write this now, I am wondering if this could be similar to the serial killings at the Univ. of ID.
