قصة طريفة تتحدى ذكاء الطفل وتثير فضوله وتفاجئه مع كل قلبة صفحة، وبينما يسحب الطفل المفاجآت الكرتونية الطريفة من جيوب الصفحات، ترتسم على فمه ابتسامة مذهولة ويتعلم من البطل الحلم في مواجهة ما تفاجئنا به الحياة.

Prior to her work as an author, Maria also made a mark as a screenwriter, having written for the popular comedy series Maraya and creating animation for Spacetoon. Additionally, she served as an editor-in-chief for Fulla Magazine. As Maria puts it, "I'm a good storyteller."

هذا الكتاب ليس فقط كتابًا تفاعليًا ممتعًا للغاية، لكنه مؤثر وملفت ومضحك للغاية.
يساعد الطفل على تقبل تغيرات النمو بشكل طريف والأهم أنه يعلمه الموازنة بين ما هو مؤسف وما هو جيد، ليدرك أن كل المواقف في الحياة تحتمل الجانبين وأن الحزن والفرح يسيران معًا في كل مكان..

من المؤسف أن جدي ينسى العناوين دائما فقاد سيارته إلى شارغ غريب..."
من الجيد أنه كانت معه خريطة
من المؤسف أنه لم يكن يحمل نظارته
من الجيد أنني لا أحتاج إلى نظارات
من المؤسف أني لاأعرف كيف أقرأ خريطة"
أحب في قصص التي تتناوب فيها الاحداث الجيدة مع المؤسفة كل ذلك الحلم الذي يتمتع به البطل فيها، وكيف يتعامل مع بايجابية مع الصدف السيئة التي تأتي بالحفنات، طالما أن الجعبة تحمل في طياتها أيضا صدفا جميلة!
