Bad Best Friend

Six overprotective older brothers.
One hopelessly single younger sister.

Her.
She was talking about herself.
Cora was the hopelessly single younger sister.

Because, God, she loved her brothers. But, hell, they were ANNOYING. And good at scaring off every single man she’d ever dated.

Sigh.

She just…wanted the happy ending, the man who’d love her and her flaws. The one who wouldn’t be scared off by her six scary—even to her, as much as she hated to admit that particular truth—older brothers.

But—another sigh—there didn’t actually appear to be a man on the planet who met those criteria.

So…circling back to the fact that she was hopelessly single and destined to remain that way.

Until one day there was a knock at the door.

And Rafe showed up, moved in, and—

Proved that her brothers’ best friend was the one man on the planet who wasn’t scared.

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Note 2: This is a series. It would be best to read in order as previous characters do make cameos.

Trigger warnings: verbal abuse, suicide, failed pregnancy, mention of death, alcoholism.

Cora and Rafe are extremely cute. Even when they come from different circumstances, her having a perfectly large family with an even harder working mom and loveable brothers, Rafe's life is different. Having come from a tragic and abusive home allowed him to be adopted and accepted into Cora's family.

Despite them or anyone else forbidden to come near Cora in a relationship, thanks to overprotective family, still fate is like nah, I don't give a shit, let's give Rafe to her.

They battle their demons, also protective family, and several bouts of miscommunication as to how he will be able to tell his fellow friends/her brothers that shit - feelings are different now for this pretty young thing called Cora, they finally come together.

As usual with Elise's brilliant writing and soft emotional with hard stubborn but loveable characters, steamy chemistry and wonderful side characters - that make me fall all over again for her stories.

Until the next read,

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: brothers' best friend
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

Cora and Rae have been around each other their entire lives. Rafe is Cora's 6 older brothers' best friend and has been adopted by her mom as one of her own. But there's drawbacks. One, is her incessant crush and two, it's just another guy to boss her around. When Rafe needs a place to crash, Cora doesn't say no, but when the heat turns up between them, Rafe has to decide if he can risk possible rejection by her family for a possible romance with Cora.

This story started out a little slow for me, but I really did end up enjoying it a lot. It was well written with a cute storyline. There were a lot of heartfelt moments and lots of insecurities that needed to be worked through. Rafe was super protective and possessive of Cora - so much so it's a wonder that the brothers didn't notice a lot earlier, lol. His indecisiveness had legitimate "reasons" and the grovel made it all good in the end :).

4 star Review Bad Best Friend (Billionaire’s Club #14) by Elise Faber

Having read a number of books by Elise Faber I could not wait to read Bad Best Friend. This was an entertaining story and I quickly became invested in Cora and Rafe’s friends to lovers story.

I really liked these characters. Cora has known Rafe all her life and he has always been an “adopted” brother. However all that chained a few years ago when she started to get feelings for him. What she doesn't know is that he has feelings for her too and things are about to get complicated.

I really felt for Rafe, he loves Cora but doesn’t want to jeopardize the relationship he has with her family, after all they have been the only ones who have been there for him. I fell hard and fast for Rafe and enjoyed the push and pull dynamic of their relationship as they moved from friends to lovers.

Bad Best Friend had heat, humour, love and characters who were easy to relate to as it ticked a lot of the boxes for me.

"Bad Best Friend" by Elise Faber is book #14 of the Billionaire's Club series but works well as a standalone. I was able to jump in here without feeling lost at all even though I've only read one or two of the earlier books in the series (so far).

When their father died, the six Hutchins brothers promised to protect their baby sister Cora, who was only five years old at the time. Cora's an adult now, but her brothers don't seem to have gotten the message. They continue to interfere in her personal life and have chased off every guy she's ever been interested in, up to and including her most recent ex-boyfriend. Her oldest brother's best friend Rafe, who's been an honorary member of the Hutchins clan since he was in elementary school, is just as overprotective as the rest of them, so when he shows up on Cora's doorstep one night and announces that he's moving in with her, she's not happy. Rafe's in town for work and her brothers think he should stay with Cora in case she needs "help" after the breakup. Cora begrudgingly allows Rafe to take up residence in her guest room, but surprisingly, things begin to change once they're living under the same roof. Rafe can't help but see Cora as a grown woman instead of the little sister he's always tried to pretend she was. Maybe that crush Cora's been hiding since she was a teenager isn't so one-sided after all...

I really liked Cora and Rafe together. Their banter was amusing, the push-pull between them was well done, and they had plenty of chemistry - so much, in fact, that I don't know how her brothers didn't figure out what was going on between them sooner. I really empathized with Rafe's fears about getting involved with Cora and losing his place as an honorary Hutchins since they were more of a family to him than his own father ever was. It took a lot (honestly, a bit longer than I would have liked) for him to finally realize that it was worth the risk to fight for Cora, but his groveling more than made up for it in the end.

Overall, I very much enjoyed "Bad Best Friend" and would recommend it for all contemporary romance and romantic comedy fans. I look forward to learning more about the Hutchins brothers in future books!

I loved Cora. I come from a big family - well maybe not 6 brothers but I have a bunch of cousins that drove me mad from time to time when I was younger. I felt her desperation for some freedom in living her life on her own terms. I loved how outspoken she was and knew her worth when Rafe was dragging his feet and not feeling worthy of her love.

Now lets speak about the man himself; Rafe had a bad childhood and I could understand his need for approval and thinking that you don't measure up. But his love for Cora is all-consuming and I loved that when the time came everyone was understanding (as they should be) and helped him to see that he was more than enough and deserved all the love the Hutchins clan bestowed upon him. They were perfect for each other and I just loved the HEA.

BAD BEST FRIEND is the fourteenth book in the Billionaire's Club series, and we meet Cora and Rafe. Now, as you may recall, I started this series at book thirteen, so there's a pretty good chance that the couples mentioned have their own stories that I haven't read. That didn't impact me in any way though.

Cora is the baby of the family, over-protected by her brothers and their best friend to try to make up for the death of her father when she was too young to remember him. She had dreams about Rafe but it obviously wasn't meant to be. That is until he moves in and realises she is a woman and all grown up.

I really felt for Cora in this. She took a lot that I don't think I could have. And Teresa was spot on with her prediction. Rafe is a good guy and I do understand where he was coming from. It just didn't fit with the picture I got in my head from the blurb.

Told from both Cora and Rafe's perspectives, this was an easy read that flowed well. The pacing was spot on and there were a few steamy moments.

Another great read from Elise Faber and recommended by me. Now, I really must get those books on the backlist!

Cora Hutchins is the last single lady standing among her girlfriends. But being perpetually single is one of the hazard of having half-a-dozen overprotective older brothers who take pleasure in running off any man they think isn’t good enough for her. And there’s never been a man they’ve thought good enough for her. But they may finally have gone too far when they send their friend Rafe—practically a seventh brother and honorary member of the Hutchins clan—to stay with her after running off her latest boyfriend. It certainly doesn’t help to have her lest crush hovering over her in her home.
Rafe has always clung to the Hutchins’, the only real family he’s ever known. And he’d never do anything to risk losing them. Certainly he’d never touch Cora, and risk losing all of them for crossing that line. And yet…sharing her space, it becomes impossible to deny their chemistry. Chemistry can make any line blurry, even the one that both of them have drawn between themselves for the sake of her brothers.
And so they agree to one night together. But their one night leaves them both wanting more. Still, despite Cora’s willingness to try for more, Rafe struggles to see how he can be with Cora and keep his relationship with her brothers, too.
I love this series, and seeing how the lives of the couples intersect! Cora and Rafe are a wonderful example of a brilliant brothers’ best friend romance. And the heightened stakes in Rafe’s head provide an extra layer of tension to the plotline. And it’s such an honest type of reaction, despite their strong chemistry and the fact that they’re obviously great together, their romantic relationship a natural evolution of having known each other all their lives compounded by their suddenly close proximity. Add in the constant interference of her brothers, some good times with Cora’s friends (the heroines of several other installments of the Billionaire’s Club series), and some external pressure, and this is the kind of book that wants to be read in a single sitting just to see it through to the end.
Looking forward to the new series in the Billionaire’s Club world, coming soon, the Bad Brothers! Because Cora’s unruly brothers could definitely use some serious relationships of their own, now that Cora’s settled with a man who’ll protect her even from them when necessary. Jeremy’s up first in Bad Rebound!

When you are the only girl in the family of six older brothers and their best friend, who might as well be the seventh brother, all you want to do is live your life. Elise gives us an emotionally gripping brother's best friend romance that definitely pulls on your heartstrings. Cora and Rae's story shows us how two people from such different backgrounds can find happiness and help one another heal from the pain that they have endured.

Cora Hutchins just wants to have a relationship without the interference of her brothers. They have chased off every guy that she has dated? Why, because they are her protectors since her father died when she was five years old. When Rae, her brother's best friend and her secret crush, comes to stay with her while he is in town for a job. Is Cora happy about this situation? No, she sees it as another brother being too protective and does not make his life easy staying with her. Cora starts to see him as more than a friend as well as nowhere like a brother. Will she decide that maybe he is worth looking at in a different light? What would her brothers do if she was to act upon her feelings for Rae? When tragedy strikes and news comes to light, how will everyone deal with it? C

Rae has been like the adopted son to the Hutchins family and has been thankful for that. He was able to see what a loving family was supposed to be like. While growing up with the Hutchins' sons, he got to also watch Cora grow up into a beautiful and independent woman that he has feelings for. When her brothers suggested that since he was working in the town where Cora lives, then maybe he could stay with her just in case she needed some help. Well staying with Cora had his mind wandering and his thoughts all focused on Cora and the things he would like to do with and to her. When things get hot between them they start to realize that her brothers need to be told but how and when? Can Rae convince Cora that they should be together? That he is the one for her and her brothers do not scare him? When Cora ends up in the hospital, how will her brothers react to what they are witnessing?

I love the way that Elise has Cora and Rae fighting the pull that they have for one another. The two of them had some beautiful moments together and you could see that Rae was totally taken back with Cora. The banter that was between them just added to the sexual tension and a few good laughs. I highly recommend adding this book to your TBR list.

Six overprotective older brothers. One hopelessly single younger sister. Her. She was talking about herself. Cora was the hopelessly single younger sister. Because, God, she loved her brothers. But, hell, they were ANNOYING. And good at scaring off every single man she'd ever dated. Sigh. She just...wanted the happy ending, the man who'd love her and her flaws. And Rafe showed up, moved in, and-Proved that her brothers' best friend was the one man on the planet who wasn't scared.

This book is so amazing. I really loved Rafe and Cora. She is a girl who has always lived with her overprotective older brothers and this has prevented her from finding a man that will stick around and be the man she needs him to be and not afraid of her brothers. She is also a girl who wants to live life on her very own but still can't imagine it without her overprotective older brothers. One knock on the door and her whole life is about to change and flip upside down. Rafe her brothers best friend is at the door and he is the man of her dreams and isn't afraid of her brothers but how would this ever work?? I loved finding out and you will too. These are two amazing characters who will steal your heart and have you reading the book until you are finished.

If you are a new reader, then this is a great place to start while reading the series as we are introduced to a whole new set of characters of which other books in the future will be written. The future books with be about Cora's brothers and Rafe's best friends.

If you a long-time reader, you will love seeing how all the previous couples in this series are doing as they are good friends with Cora and every Thursday they get together for some fun.

Cora and Rafe were new characters to me as I have not read the previous books in the series. Cora has an awesome home life but she has 6 brothers, and they all work very hard to protect her from men. Rafe is a family friend to Cora, but he is best friends with her brothers and her mom sees him as a son.

Rafe's home life was awful and so his family became his best friend's family. There is also a 6-year age difference between Rafe and Cora, and this was kind of an odd fact, Rafe actually held Cora as a newborn.

Rafe is in town, and he needs a place to stay so her brothers ask him to stay with her and so that's how this story begins. It is a romance between a childhood friend and her brother's best friend and her huge crush.

This was a story about friendship, love, family, loyalty and soulmates. At times Rafe frustrated me because he came off a bit of a coward and at the base of that was his fear of losing the people most important to him. But when he was with Cora, I loved his alpha tendencies.

I have been patiently waiting for Cora's book after watching all of her friends (and then some) fall in love. I was very much not disappointed. This was a slow burn after years and years of these two knowing each other. Rafe is the best friend of Cora's 3 oldest brothers. The girl has 6 brothers, 6! 2 sets of twins and 2 in the middle. All older. If she was real I would give their mother Edy mad props! Especially for doing it all on her own after their dad passed away.

Rafe is a kind hearted soul damaged from the abuse his uncaring dad put him through. I'm so glad he had the Hutchinses and that they love him equally as one of their own. Cora is an amazing woman! She is strong, kind, and loving. I just love how she puts up with her overbearing, overprotective brothers but at the same time lives her own happy life.

I understand and respect why Rafe was scared to commit to Cora. But at the same time I was so not happy with him. He didn't want to fight for her! Seriously, what better person for a sister than the "brother" you trust with your own life! I was so very happy when he pulled his head out of his ****. Though I wish it had happened under better circumstances. I have to say my heart seriously melted when Edy said that Rafe was the first of the brother's to hold Cora after she was born! It's kismet!

I just love these two but I am more happy that everyone in this group of fabulous women has finally met their better half. They all deserve that HEA!

Bad Best Friend is the fourteenth book in the Billionaire’s Club, but does a great job of standing alone. Cora has six older brothers, and there’s Rafe, her brothers’ best friend, honorary family member, and her new roommate. They feel so much more than siblings should, their chemistry is through the roof, but will Rafe get out of his head and claim everything his heart desires, or will his fear drive him away from all that he loves?

Ohhh, this book was so good! It had me feeling all of the emotions, the highs of love and joy, and the lows of heartbreak and insecurities. Cora and Rafe were amazing together! I loved their chemistry, I loved that they had such a great and strong past together, and I loved that they both wanted so much more from their relationship. Cora was strong and confident, wanted so badly to live her own life, but also couldn’t imagine her life without her overprotective brothers. I liked that she wasn’t afraid to ask for more with Rafe, but she had her own pride, too. Rafe was so amazing. Acting like her overprotective brothers, but with a different intention behind the actions, he was so scared to reach out for more and rock the boat of the goodness he already had, but couldn’t help wanting more with Cora. I loved them together! I loved their passion, I loved their connection, and I loved that they stood by each other’s sides. I haven’t read too many of the Billionaire’s Club books, but I never felt lost and I love that you can tell there’s other stories that I want to know more of! I giggled, I cried, I definitely loved this couple!

As a long time fan of the Bad Billionaire series, I have got to tell you, Rafe is something special. Pulled into Cora’s family at a very young age, he has always been so much more than a best friend to her six (yes SIX) older brothers. He is part of the family, has loved and been loved as part of the family for the bulk of his life. Which means he has joined right in with her brother’s in chasing away any man that got within 6 feet of Cora.

When Rafe shows up unannounced (of course) needing a place to crash (of course), sent on behalf of her brothers to keep an eye on her….. well, you know the drill, Cora is livid, and decides its time to take the sass up a notch, “letting” him overhear girls night in. But something has changed. All of a sudden Rafe doesn’t need to protect her from other men. He needs to protect him from him, despite the fact that Cora has no interest in being protected, and aaallll the interest in seeing what Rafe has to offer, because his kisses turn up her internal temperature to overload.

At the heart of Bad Best Friend is a man that had a terrible family life, but was blessed to have a “found” family that loved him, and would always love him, despite his own doubts of his worth. Watching, reading, praying and hoping that Rafe could see, know and feel the depth of this families love for him it was truly one of the most heartfelt stories in the series.

Now Cora’s brothers – I can’t wait to see those six get bitten by the love bug. I think they’re going kicking and screaming.

An emotional read - Rafe has been best friends with Cora’s overprotective brothers since childhood and he is just as protective of her. She’s had a crush on him since she was a young teen, and he’s treated her like a younger sister.

Rafe moves into her her guest room for a few weeks when he returns to the Bay Area for work. She’s feed up with the interference from her brothers and Rafe so she gets a bit sassy towards him hoping he will back off. The sass leads to a shockingly hot kiss in her kitchen that Rafe apologizes for and then avoids her.

These two both have some emotional issues to get past before they can have a HEA. Rafe’s family life was sad - his mother committed suicide due to severe postpartum depression and his dad blamed Rafe and was very abusive. Rafe found love and family with the Hutchins brothers and he has been one of them for decades. He is t willing to do anything to jeopardize his place. Cora is someone who wants to be incredibly independent and not rely on anyone for help. She is tried of her brothers and their overprotective antics.

The road to a HEA for Cora and Rafe is more than a bit bumpy with some angst and hurt pride. The ending is heartwarming and a little surprising.

I received an ARC froM the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Is there an HEA for Cora and Rafe?

This is my first read by this author but it won’t be the last. This was a great story about a woman with six older brothers. Cora can’t keep a boyfriend because her brothers manage to drive every man off. She wants her own HEA but she knows she needs someone who isn’t afraid of her brothers. She does love them but enough already. Then to top it off, their friend Rafe shows up with his bags and informs her that he’s moving in (it’s either him or her brother).

I loved Cora. She allowed her brothers to “protect” her but didn’t roll over and let them walk all over her. Rafe is like another brother, he’s part of the Protect Cora team. But now that they’re sharing her place she realizes that he’s not her brother and he’s not afraid of them either. Rafe finally realizes that Cora is “the one” but he’s got baggage.

They were a great couple and knew each other well. I loved their interactions. Great read. There is a listing of “the cast of characters” at the beginning and I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to follow the book so far into the series but this can standalone (although I have to confess I’m going back to catch up on the other stories).

We’ll developed characters that I enjoyed meeting. Great storyline and a wonderful HEA.

Cora has her hands full being the youngest of 6 and there all brothers phew dating is hard everytime she dates it's drama not that the guys she sees are all winners but she still needs to live her life and having her brothers and one honorary one just strolling into her house all the time is a headache. Then in walks Rafe he's like her brother he's been around all her life and he's the honorary Hutchins one that she had a crush on along time ago but it's all in the past till he moves in.

Rafe had a really hard upbringing his mom gone tragically and his father a real piece of work his only real family the ones that showed him love were the Hutchins clan his brothers and sister and he wouldn't ever do anything to ruin that only living with the one person that ties him in knots is proving that pretending your family is allot easier when your not under the same roof now working and avoiding Cora are becoming impossible. Can love fix everything his fears and her broken hart.

Loved the chemistry and the family element but Cora has way more patience then me when it comes to brothers and one stubborn man.

I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and have bought a copy as well. This is my honest review

Friends to lovers romance surrounded by fun cast of family and friends

Bad Best Friend is the first book I read in the billionaire’s club series. I enjoyed the subtle tie over to my favorite Elise Faber series, Gold Hockey. It’s a friend to lovers story that showcases Elise’s ability to get into her characters mind and emotional state. Though at times confusing, since some thoughts and sentences were not complete, this style reflects reality so well.

Bad best friend features Rafe and Cora.
Rafe is like a brother to her, and best friends with her overprotective brothers. She can’t be falling in love with him, that would be risking so much for her and Rafe.
Cora has been like his little sister for so long. He’s been chasing away boyfriends for years. Has it been because he wants her for himself? Will he risk losing the family that has had his back for so long? Through Cheetos, hot cocoa and girls night with way too much oversharing, Cora and Rafe navigate this blossoming relationship that might break more than just their hearts.

Bad Best Friend sets up the next series in the Billionaires storyline, featuring Cora’s six overprotective brothers. I can’t wait read them.

Bad Best Friend is the fourteenth book in the Billionaire’s Club series by Elise Faber. I have not read any other books in the series, but I have never had any trouble reading Ms. Faber’s books as a standalone. This book was fast-paced and was full of humor. I loved meeting all of Cora’s family and her brothers were adorable even if they were a little overprotective. I loved all the quick-witted joking between the siblings and found myself laughing out loud several times.
Rafe had grown up as part of Hutchins’s family but always felt his place in the family was dependent on his actions. He was afraid of losing the only family he knew so when he didn’t want to acknowledge his attraction to Cora. Her brothers were his best friends, and he knew how protective they were.
Cora had a childhood crush on Rafe but knew he thought of her as a sister. But when he moves in with her, both of their feelings start to change but she realizes how important her family is to Rafe. She doesn’t want to cause any problems between her brothers and Rafe, so they agree to keep their growing relationship to themselves.
Rafe’s fear of losing the Hutchins as a family affected Cora because she felt like she was not enough for him since he was not willing to fight for her and their relationship. I was so glad to see him realize that he was part of their family no matter what and their love was not conditional. I really enjoyed the book and I hope to see the Hutchins family in future books.

This family! They really are the epitome of “I’ve got your back, we are family, always.” But with that closeness comes…protectiveness for the “baby” sister.

From the matriarch, Edy Hutchins to all six of her older brothers, Cora Hutchins has got a lot of overly protective watchdogs. And then there’s Rafe…who essentially grew up at the Hutchins’ house as the brother’s best friend.

So when Rafe needed a place to stay temporarily while working on a job in the same town Cora lives in, it was only natural that the brothers recommend that he stay with her.

But Cora isn’t a little girl anymore (although her brothers seem to think she is!). She’s a grown woman with a demanding job and good girlfriends to hang out with.

So where does Rafe fit into this? Roommates? Friends? Or?

Without giving the story away, it is a rollercoaster of emotions, some very funny, some poignant and some sad. But through it all, the fun and adventure of watching Cora and Rafe together (plus her family and friends!) makes this a wonderful story!

This is the no. 14 book in the Billionaire's Club series, but it can be easily read as a standalone. This is a story of Cora Hutchins and her brother’s best friend Rafe. She is the baby sister with 6 older brothers that are, to put it mildly, overprotective so they continue to interfere in her personal and especially love life well into her adulthood, so they chased away every guy she's ever been interested in. Rafe, an honorary member of the Hutchins clan since elementary school, is just as overprotective as the rest of them. One night he shows up on her doorstep and announces that he's moving in with her since he’s in town for work. Since they stay under the same roof everything changes. He can't help but see her as all grown up, and her teenager infatuation with him blossoms again. I loved them, their banter was entertaining, the push-pull between them was awsome, there was a lot of chemistry. I felt for him with his struggle whether he gets involved with her and risking his place in the Hutchins clan.

Rafe & Cora's story is so cute!

Rafe has been an honorary member of Cora's family for years. His home situation was a messed up one, and being with the Hutchins provided him with the home life he was missing and needed. He and all 6 Hutchins boys were great friends, but their baby sister inspired feelings that went way past friendship. But can he get out of his head long enough to think with his heart?

"...when you love someone, you're the lucky one."

Cora has been in love with Rafe for years. But as he has always treated her like a little sister, she's been too afraid to hope for anything more. But when he moves in to her spare bedroom, her hopes and fantasies start to seem real. But between her overbearing brothers need to protect her, and Rafe's insecurities, they may be short-lived.

As usual, Elise Faber delivers a great read. It's full of funny moments, great chemistry and loveable characters (both main and secondary). I recommend it wholeheartedly and unreservedly.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

Loved it and loved the Hutchins brothers and can't wait for them to get their own stories. This story is Cora and Rafe's

Cora is the baby of the family, the only girl and has six very over protective brothers. Well Rafe isn't really her brother but he grew up with the family and became another brother. Although when Cora hit her teenage years she started crushing on Rafe. Now as an adult they all chase off every man she tries to date, to the point Rafe decides in order to protect her he needs to move in for a few weeks.

Those weeks because torture though as Rafe has stronger feelings for Cora but know she can't act on them. As much as he wants to, he can't jeopardize the family he is a part of. The family who took him in and treated him like one of their own, like he mattered.

When Cora gets injured, Rafe freaks out and is detremined to be the one to care for her. With feelings growing stronger on both sides, is it time to come clean and risk it all?

This is the 14th book in this incredible series and is Cora and Rafe’s story. Cora is kind, caring, and loving, and she is the youngest with 6 overprotective older brothers, and she just wants a man who is not intimidated by her brothers, and wants her for herself. Rafe is damaged from his past, and he became an honoured member of Cora’s family who welcomed him in with open arms, as well as being her brother’s best friend. When Rafe has a job while working in the same town as Cora, her brothers recommend that he stay with her, so he ends up as her new roommate. Can these two become friends / lovers, and what will happen when their secret is out of the bag? This is a well written story which has family, friendships, conflict, turmoil, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an addictive and poignant love story. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Cora & Rafe are two of a kind

Rafe is almost like an adopted brother in the Hutchins family - 6 brothers and 1 sister. So, he always made sure that Cora Hutchins was taken care of. That meant that Cora wasn't able to date without all 7 of her "brother's" approval.

Rafe needs a place to stay while he's working on a job in her town, so he practically barges into Cora's house to stay in her guest room. After over-hearing her talk about kinky sex, Rafe can't handle it anymore.

Seeing the two of them grow to love each other, even though it was always there was so sweet. The way he makes her Hot Chocolate. The way he kept his feelings to himself so he doesn't hurt her brothers. Or the way her brothers always knew they were meant for each other.

I love the way Elise Faber writes these stories. Each one of these Billionaire's Club books are real situations with real people trying to find real love!

This is the story of Cora and Rafe. Cora has six older, very protective brothers and one overprotective brothers' best friend, Rafe, who has decided that he should move into her apartment when he is staying in town for a few weeks for work. What could go wrong? Everything!!! The fun starts with Rafe overhearing Cora and her friends at margarita night discussing handcuffs and other kinkiness, continues with cosy nights watching movies and culminates with Rafe realizing that he has always had feelings for his best friends' little sister. Which of course is impossible, because said best friends will never allow it. This story has heart, compassion, is funny yet poignant and you can't help by fall in love with the characters, even if sometimes you want to knock their heads together. Wonderful story.

Bad Best Friend is an amazing read. I loved this one. Cora is stronger than her brothers give her credit for. You are going to just love all the protective big lugs that are Cora's brother and all I can say about them is I want more of them. This is a fun read. Rafe has been part of Cora's family her whole life. He is the best friend of her brothers and is just as protective as her brothers. I love the fight of tension in this one. Rafe and Cora are wonderful together. This is filled with such heart and love you are not going to want to miss a moment of this one. Rafe is amazing and I love how he finally comes clean to Cora's family on his feelings. I could not get enough of this one. You need to one click this today. I cannot wait for the next Billionaire's Club book to come.

If you love friends to lovers look no further that Cora and Rafe’s entertaining story.
Cora has known Rafe all her life after all he has been friends with her brothers all his life and that has made him part of the family. Problem is as Cora gets older her feelings change and for the past few years she has wanted more that friendship. When she realises he feels the same, things start to get complicated so will either of them risk the relationship he has with her family for love and happiness.
I really enjoyed this couples journey and I found myself sitting in the edge of my seat thinking will they take a chance. This book has it all, great humour, sizzling chemistry, wonderful characters but more importantly lots of love and family loyalty.

Being the youngest and only girl in her family Cora has no shortage of men trying to protect her and that doesn’t even include her brothers’ best friend Rafe. When he becomes a surprise houseguest the sparks fly and their relationship will be forever changed.

Rafe is family by heart if not by blood however the feelings that Cora and Rafe have for each other definitely aren’t those of siblings. Rafe has to choose whether the reward of pursuing Cora is worth the risk and that is when the fun really begins.

Rafe was cautious about the possibility of losing the people he loved the most but if he is willing to cross the line he may just realize that he can have the love and happy ever after he has always wanted.

Bad Best Friend is part of the Billionaire's Club; its a brothers best friend story that has all the feels.

Cora has 6 protective brothers which makes it very hard to find the right guy, when her brothers BFF turns up with bag proclaiming that he is now living with her everything changes. Rafe has been part of the family for years, he is treated like another sibling; he doesn't want to ruin his friendships and lose the family that has supported him all these years. Feelings come to the surface and their chemistry is undeniable.

I personally enjoyed this story, I have been a big fan of Elise for years now and every story just keeps getting better and better.

𝗕𝗔𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗 Is the best kind of brother’s best friend romance read because the brothers in question are six and they be possessive and crazy when it comes to their baby sister, Cora.

Cora has zero luck when it comes to men. No man can handle the baggage that is her crazy family. Is she upset over it? No, not really, because the one man she has eyes for is her crazy brothers’ best friend and honorary family member, Rafe.

For his part, Rafe is at his wits end. He has loved Cora since forever but is scared to rock the boat. When he finally gets his head out of his a** and decides she is worth everything, he is all in.

Watching Cora and Rafe get their happily ever after put a smile on my face. I’m giving 𝗕𝗔𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗 the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!
