The Book of the Season is MIDDLEMARCH: A STUDY OF PROVINCIAL LIFE by Mary Ann Evans who, for reasons of societal sexism, wrote under the pen name George Eliot. This sprawling English novel tends to be accompanied by phrases like ‘but it’s just so long’ from those who haven’t read it, and ‘the best novel in the English language’ from those who have. Contributors include: Rebecca Mead, Rob Palk, Jean Hannah Edelstein, Deborah Friedell, Jordana Brewster, Yelena Moskovich and Tara Isabella Burton.
Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

Mainly loved the half about Middlemarch, not so much the interview. 3.5 stars
"Somehow Eliot writes about a tragic society, a society weighted against people like herself, and manages to write with love. Life is unbearably sad, unbearably unjust, and still absolutely worth the cost." (p. 44)
Is this how it is? Is this how it's always been? To exist in the face of suffering and death and somehow still keep singing? :)
This has reaaally made me want to read Middlemarch. Holding out for a gorgeous special edition with deckled edges.
