This book is an ok analysis of one of the lost books

This book discusses the gospel of Mary without containing the entire writing. It is commentary and authors opinions but it discounts or takeaway from the entire bible . the red letters of Christ trump any man or woman and therefore I think the author takes away from the true words of Christ . I accept all lost books as well as old and new testament as good but even Paul said let every man or woman be a liar and only god the father and god the son who were the same being let god and his red letters only be absolute truth . I feel the author tries to be helpful but misses the big picture of the red letters of christ. Enjoyable reading for all Christians who want to think and grow and seek out the truth and test all writings and works that don't line up to red letters .

* – Non-Canonical Biblical text - meaning Biblical "Fake News."

Main Points -

1 - This Gospel was discovered in 1896. She was the "Apostle to the apostles.”

2 - – New Testament (Jesus?) steal MM’s advice of
– pushing a Gnostic POV. Material worlds is shit, work on spiritual good.

3 - Very Mystic Hebrew / Kabalistic - Essessian and Platonic,

4 Mary was rich and Financed the Jesus show!!

5 – Jesus promised to make her a man because every woman who makes herself a man will enter the kingdom of heaven.

6 – Other apostles jealous of JC’s special VIP treatment of Mary.

7 – “there is no sin.” Only ignorance and lack of spiritual growth or self-awareness.

8 - Fought apostles for putting “the church” or “faith” in front of self-awareness and enlightenment.

I was intrigued because of a class about women in the New Testament I took in undergrad, but the writing wasn't stellar.

The majority of this book is commentary by an unnamed author. The editing leaves a lot to be desired for a published work.
