I had to wait for this book and I'm glad I did! Definitely five stars, and I don't give five stars to just any old book. It is the next book in the series and now I'm waiting for the next installment. All this waiting is killing me!
The book continues on with the Johnny Jewel story. It's such a fun mix of noir, sci fi, and action. My days in dance clubs never prepared me for this kind of scene. It's tons of fun reading about the club, the characters and the world Johnny Jewel lives on. The original inhabitants of the planet they live on are in the story, with a new character that is one of them. He has a past life, like we all have, a time when memories and more intrude on him and that adds a flavor to his character. There is one sex scene for Johnny so, if that bothers you, your not ready for real life or for this book. And there is plenty of action, lots of mystery and interesting characters that kept me riveted. If I could have read that book all day, I would have.
