Henry might be making a visit to the Cayman Islands but there’s a secret involved. Intriguing as it gets deeper into the story. What is he really doing there. Definite binge worthy.

This prequel is well written and establishes the hero's bonafides. Great character. Morality be damned. But it's fiction so who cares? Looking for more of him.

This a great introduction to the Henry Crowne character. It tells a tale of what happened after his trip to Panama. He goes out to his favorite bar for a night of relaxation. While there he is struck by a father and son drinking at the bar. He discovers that they are from Ireland and then buys another round for them. Things do not work out well for this pair as the father is gunned down when leaving. This event reminds Henry of what happened to him when he was young.

Follow along as Henry takes great pains to learn what happened and helps the boy by setting him and the person that was assigned to take care of the boy until his mother arrives from Ireland. This shows a gread story of Henry's character and will give you a push to read more in this series.

A Gripping Origin Story: The Fine Line Between Justice and Corruption

This origin story of Henry Crowne masterfully explores the delicate balance between good and bad in his character. The author paints a nuanced portrait—on one side, illegal financial dealings; on the other, a man deeply moved by a young boy who witnesses his father’s murder. Crowne’s fight for justice on the boy’s behalf is rooted in a haunting memory from his childhood. This moral thread runs through his story and, I believe, ultimately shapes the pivotal choice he makes later in the series: to walk away from financial crime when offered a chance to return—a powerful and thought-provoking prequel.

An Irish nationalist (Henry) traveling on illegal business witnesses a father being murdered in front of his son and that brings back a childhood nightmare. So Henry takes care of the dead mans son even though his actions spark interest in the police
The scenes are described in a way that make you feel you are there. I loved the way Harry was able to block Barton ( the police) near the end of the story. This is an interesting book that I enjoyed reading

A book full of suspense and intrigue. When a man is killed in front of his son Henry remembers when he was eight and his father was killed right next to him. The killer was never apprehended. With the help of his friend Liam he investigate to find the murderer. In the meantime he spends lots of time with the victims son. Will Henry find the murderer? Difficult to answer because the police treat him as a suspect. I enjoyed the book very much and for me a page-turner worth my time.

Insurgent
Freddie P. Peters

Henry Crowne is an IRA Money Launderer who stops off on the way home at a Ritz on the Cayman Islands to indulge in some luxury when he accidentally witnesses a murder. The novella proceeds at a sedate pace.

The book is an OKAY timewaster in need of considerable editing.
