That or she will go for a calming drive while listening to Eminem, Slim Shady, Marshal Mathers or The Rap God, whichever you would like to call him. Her kids are just like her, sarcastic, but fun loving. Young love can be daunting in itself but add to it the crazy that is this couples life and it complicates even the smallest issue. These two are still in high school but have a love that's strong enough to make it through his alcoholic mother and loving family support and her absentee parents. But things aren't always as they seem and Logan and Hayley with the help of his ever present and womanizing twin Lucas team up for multiple things which keep the story light. But there is a lot in this book that is serious and keeps you hooked on the story and hoping these two make it work.

I am not always a fan of YA too much angst for this old soul, but this author does it well. It is't the typical angst YA read it's so much more. There are many levels to this story and yes it ends on a cliffhanger so the next book is necessary and so worth it. This is just the beginning of their story and I can't wait for the ending. I am a fan of this author and I will be waiting with baited breath for the next book.

This is an amazing real read with true emotions and life hurdles that you can really relate to, the characters are ones you connect with whether on a personal one or you knew someone the scenarios may have happened to. I don't want to put what happens as I really don't know how to put into words how this author really makes you feel her words but she does, so a definite recommendation to go check out more of her work.

I was offered this book, on a group. I didn't know the story or the Author, so I went in totally blind. I will preface this with I do not read Ya much. Having said that the couple, Logan and Hayley seem to be a really mature 18, They have goals for life and for each other. There is some really bad parenting some crime, and a lot of compromising and these two manage it well. I really did like this story, and will pick up book 2.

Due to graduate soon, they are poised to begin their new lives in college, but many forces seem bent on keeping them apart, including Hayley herself, who struggles daily to do what is best for everyone around her and support them, even though it may mean letting Logan go to pursue his big league career with the Mets. Some fires will be put out, some will be shelved, but hopefully their story will continue with more happiness for them in the next installment.

The storyline was good and kept me intrigued. If not for quite a few confusions such as Hailey being called Chloe once, some areas where it seemed like random sentences thrown in that don’t have anything to do with what’s going on. Spelling and weird word it would have been a 4 star.
It was an enjoyable read but again these issues just sometimes confused me and made me want to put the book down. The editor could have done a little better time taking care of these issues.

Hayley and Logan love each other, but sometimes life comes in between. That is what happening to them. Old events, old hock-ups and family - they all interfere. Fortunately their love is strong and they have extra support in Logans brother Lucas and their sister and father, as well as Abby, Hayley’s best friend.
A lot of chemistry was there, manikyr between Hayley and Logan. The story was good and also the characters.
I was a little long, too many repetitions.

Really good.

There were a lot of situations in this book that seemed a bit far fetched to me and it ended on a cliff hanger (it’s a duet). That being said, I couldn’t put it down and really wanted to know what would happen during the entirety of the boom.
