As someone who is deeply uncomfortable with conflict, I found this book surprisingly empowering. It showed me that a single conflict can lead to countless possible outcomes, many of them constructive, and that realization alone made me feel more capable of handling disagreements. And although some of the case studies feel dated (such as the one about someone smoking in an airport lounge), most of the lessons remain applicable to this day.
