About the author

Growing up in North West England and in Germany, Anna wrote plays about talking animals, and stories about naughty children, and drew on every available surface. After school, she did an Art Foundation course, then a degree in German Literature & Philosophy at Oxford University. Lift flaps and holes are a fun way to help explore the forest in this cute board book that doesn't shy away from the circle of life (Example: "Big bears wade into the water ready to catch... *lift flap* ...FISH!" Lifting flap shows bear with a fish to its mouth, the fish's eye is x'ed out).
