My life’s about to change and I can’t decide if it’s for better or worse.
The one person I want, the one I need, doesn’t want me back. I’m left wondering if the path I’m about to take, will be one I’ll walk alone.
Then the person I least expect gives me exactly what I need. A break from reality. But there’s only so long I can hide and when the truth comes out, it’s explosive.
I always thought it was fate, that Jake and I would find our way back to each other.
They say what will be, will be. But what if we were never meant to be together?

The Story concludes for Abby and Jake.. or does it?
🤦🏻♀️ sums this up! Abby.. oh my goodness! How does a character get worse! She legit acts like a spoilt bitch, I wanted to throat punch her. Not just With Dan and Jake but everyone, her friends, her family! All she does is run and thinks of herself!
I actually like this author though, just a pity Abby wasn’t for me!
‘There’s no room to think or breathe. All I want is him to climb over and make me forget why we can’t be together.’
Always by Lizzie Morton is a new adult, second chance, rockstar romance, is the third book in the Always series and is told from duel POVs.
This was yet another enjoyable read from Lizzie with the perfect ending for this couple.
I enjoyed the return of the MCs - Jake and Abby - as well as the supporting characters and the development of their relationships. I liked how the story developed almost effortlessly and I could easily relate to the characters.
Although I did find myself becoming frustrated with the FMC decisions at times and found there was an issue that wasn’t really addressed amongst the MCs.
Overall I do recommend this series to anyone who loves a quirky second chance rockstar romance with a little angst and drama thrown in.
Thank you to Lizzie Morton for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
The ending is what I needed. As the third and final book in the series, I was not sure how things would go. Abby and Jake are meant to be together, soulmates, but the obstacles and their stubborn minds made the journey what it is. This book picks up at the end of Always Us. Once again the timing is wrong for Abby and Jake. Will their slow burn finally find flames?
Thank you to Booksprout and the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
I like the story sorry spoilet alert.. This is first time i am ever writing a review because i need to release some of the frustration.. Where as jake is nearly a perfect picture.. Abby sometimes irritate the shit out of me.. She is soo confused and slow.. And she always runs away from stuff and makes the problem even where there isn't.. It is soo irritating.. Half of the issues throughout the stories are because she can't let go of past.. It's embarrassing to witness how slow her mind works. Overall it's a good story and i love jake..

Always (Book 3) continues where Book 2 left off. The story is told from both Jake and Abby's POV. The writing is easy to relate to as in the previous books but with more emotions and internal realizations. The angst level is "off-the-charts," and internal growth was stellar, coming from both main characters from unresolved pasts and issues.
Noteworthy thoughts 1.) I love the addicting storyline to the point of making me want to finish everything asap. The angst and drama are over-the-top without being too overbearing. I think it's the right amount of adrenaline for two very volatile characters.
2.) Abby's internal conflicts and hurt are consistent in all three books. She may have grown up, but she did learn to protect her heart though not to the best of decisions in some cases. Note that Jake did some growing up also, but I felt that Abby's more drastic because of her position and trying to protect everyone. The burden she carried, though I felt unnecessary, shaped the story into its full potential. Sacrificing was tough, but to later see its fruition was an enlightening one. I may not have agreed with Abby's decision, but she did the best she could for her and her family.
3.) I love Abby's stubbornness protects her, but it became too much that I felt that she gave up on love with her soulmate, Jake, and just focused herself on the pregnancy, and then after the birth, attention is all on Rosa. Jake had to really, really try hard (though not all is his fault) to win her back. I felt terrible for him. In Book 1 - I was sort of mad at Jake, but after this book, with everything clicking into place, I was rooting for him feverishly.
4.) I love Dan White! I am convinced that he genuinely loves Abby, even after "everything." Not in the same way as Beckett (ex-boyfriend) did, but more since even after Abby turned him down, he channeled his energy in helping both Abby and Jake in whatever way he could. I hope it won't be the last time I hear of Dan White. He's got a good storyline somewhere.
5.) Supporting characters from both sides were unforgettable. Not only Dan White but Abby's friends - Sooz, Amanda, Sophie, and Zoe AND Ryan, Zack, Shaun, and Sam were amazing and supportive of the "craziness" of Abby and Jake's relationship. All these characters had a part in arranging many of the "reunions" between Abby and Jake that it is impossible NOT to credit them for their eventuality.
In summary, Always is a story about finding your soulmate the second or third time around, taking risks, offering forgiveness, and accepting new beginnings with an open mind and heart. I love how the book pulls out all the emotional stops and makes readers realize that timing may be everything in a relationship, but Abby and Jake's kind of love will always find a way. I understood Abby's decision in the story. She was betrayed in all points in her life by the people who thought she trusted, so things have to come from Jake's side, wherein his actions must speak louder than words. This book gave me all the fuzzies and shows how honest and true Abby and Jake's love transcends time and space in the end.
PROS: - angst writing at its finest - evolving character development based on Book 1 to 3 - an ending that fitted the deep emotional love from pages to readers' hearts
CONS: - Saying goodbye After three emotionally charged, roller-coaster journeys of Abby and Jake, saying goodbye is bittersweet. Both characters kept me up for months since I got to know them, but I am happy with where things stand by the book's last sentence - a great wrap-up to a timeless story.
Tropes: rockstar romance, second chances, accidental pregnancy, angst, slow-build drama
Ahh, Lizzie!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You gave us the ending we were needing!
This is the third installment in Lizzie Morton's Always Series and people, it did not disappoint. It lived up to all my expectations and I am telling you, if you are looking for a feel-good contemporary, second chance, rockstar romance filled with a little bit of drama and a whole lot of angst, then this is your golden ticket. I absolutely loved everything about it.
"No more running. No more hiding. No more lies."
YES, girl! Can I get an AMEN? Talk about a long time coming - as in three books, long time coming. SHIT, I swear to god I'm blaming that girl for any premature grey hair; the bitch was frustrating as hell, lol, she honestly put me through the wringer that one, AND no, she's not actually a bitch. She just didn't trust herself, after risking her heart once and it leaving her in pieces, it makes sense she's afraid to risk it again; I would be hesitant too. But man, I can't even explain how happy I was though when she finally did. When she finally chose to stop running, stop hiding, stop doubting and finally wear her heart on her sleeve and simply give in to her heart's desire, Jake. It was beautiful.
AND Jake. Jeepers boy, you had me at hello. The patience you had for Abby? Unfathomable. People, this boy waited years, YEARS, for his woman to finally pull her head out of her ass. If that's not loyalty I don't know what is. God, if I could just hug him and wrap him up in a bow and point to all the arseholes out there, see this? this is what a MAN looks like, wouldn't the world be a better place? I just love him so MUCH. And the fact that the boy never wavered, knowing without doubt and 100% certainty that Abby was his end game, ahh SWOON, he went straight to the top three after that as best book boyfriends ever written. Damn Jake, you stole my heart, and YES, you can KEEP it! Much love!
Anyways, I'll leave you with this quote, it sums up the entirety of this series beautifully.
"Our story isn't picture perfect. Our happily ever after didn't come easily. At times it was long, drawn-out, painful, and all the other stuff in between. But it's our journey, our story, our kind of perfect. And I know now, with every piece of my heart put firmly back in place, that it always will be."
**Brilliant**
These two were beyond painful at times but never once did I doubt they weren't an ALWAYS!!
Lizzie, thank you so much for the advanced copy and for allowing me the chance to be a part of your ARC community; you created a masterpiece, my friend. Congratulations!!
❤️🩹 Abby’s life is about to change and she can’t decide if it’s for better or worse. The one person she has always wanted doesn’t want her back and the person she least expected gives her exactly what she needs. A break from reality. But there’s only so long she can hide away and when the truth comes out, it’s explosive. After all they have been through, what if Jake and Abby were never meant to be together? ❤️🩹
❤️🩹SPOILERS AHEAD!! Some but not too many … . . . . . .
❤️🩹 THEY DID IT!!!! SOOOO MUCH HAPPENED IN THIS FINAL INSTALMENT AND IT WAS SO GOOD!!! 😆😆 Dan White was so nice and he was so caring for Abby when she needed it 🥰 It really surprised me how Abby kept her secret from the rest of the world, friends and family 😞 How hard that would have been to keep to herself 😢 This book had so many almost happy endings and it was so nice to have Abby and her group resolve problems, form relationships, create new businesses/careers, and FINALLY END UP WITH JAKE!!! 😃 We kept getting nice resolutions to one situation after another but then more kept coming 😂 It was so lovely that by the end Jake and Abby were finally able to communicate, trust each other, and be parents together 🥰 It was cute to see them go on their carnival date that didn’t really end up working out in book 2 😍 It took many years, and so many experiences sabotaging them getting back together, it was nice to see them make each other their always 🥰
❤️🩹 Thankyou you to Lizzie Morton for sending me these books to review, they were amazing to read and I was hooked on every word ❤️🩹

Wow so there’s a lot to say but also barely anything to type. This entire trilogy exhausted me but also had me addicted. It was tiring seeing the main couple go back and forth with the same cycle of issues, then all the side people having these stupid ass problems too, I hated how much time was wasted but I did understand in the end that love never fails, so if it does fail- it’s not love. That’s something I perceived from this trilogy. I hate how Dan never had a chance to begin with. But I totally respect him. Amanda too!! She is such an icon. Anyway, this series was sickly focused on Abby and all about Abby, she’s def a narcissist. Which enraged me, because she clearly never put herself in other peoples shoes. Now, I’m completely unbiased, I’m being honest. I rarely 5 star a book, so 4 star def means this shit was good. The author is incredibly talented with her writing, the way she portrayed the characters emotions and thoughts (bonus points for dual pov chapters!!!). She literally left me in tears, the cliffhangers- dear God they were magnificent- don’t get me started on the miscommunication, literally obsessed. This series while it stressed the fuck outta me, it managed to have me: read all 3 books, get me on the edge of my seat, cry til I was swollen, not be able to sleep at all, be the only thing on my mind, etc. This series was absolutely beautiful, every character has a piece of my heart and always will. This series is another read and truly loved. Ima miss the “Always You, Always Us, Always” Family. (P.S. I was fucking crying when I found out his inspo for the songs- the last song he wrote. Stg.) 4/5✨
I actually read this book last week, but I needed a few days to get all my thoughts down and suppressed into something not quite resembling a short novel all of its own! 😅
Always is the third and final book in the Always series, and is a second chance Rockstar Romance that follows Abby and Jake's story and all of the struggles and obstacles they have to overcome on their journey to finally find happiness.
Always picks up where Always Us ended, and Abby finds out something that will change her life forever, while Jake's music career has really started to take off. So Abby decides that, once again, the time isn't right for them to be together and leaves.
This final installment of the series will make you feel EVERYTHING as Abby and Jake try to navigate the paths their lives have taken whilst also trying to find a way back to each other and is the perfect conclusion to their story.
Their story is engaging and extremely well written and I loved how Abby and Jake grew and matured as the series went on. There were so many times that were wrong for them to be together, but the way that the story progressed from the very first book had me hooked and praying they would find their HEA.
This series has become one of my absolute favourites of this year and as soon as I'm off of my book buying ban, which might I add is NOT self imposed😒, these will be the first books I buy to add to my new physical library 🖤🖤🖤
I received a review copy for free thanks to the author and I am leaving this review voluntarily

I was lucky enough to be on of the beta readers for this book so I have waited to read this book following its release. Always is the third novel in the Always series and I very much enjoyed the return of Jake and Abby. Always picks up where Always Us ended, so you need to have read the first two books in order to get the most out of this series.
Split between Abby's and Jake's perspective this installment is engaging and well-written. Through the series we get to see the growth of Abby and Jake but for the couple nothing has ever been easy. It is difficult to write of my love for this second chance romance without giving away any spoilers - so instead I am going to recommend that you run off to read this lovely series.
Ohhhh what an ending. I absolutely loved the first two books in this series so when I was lucky enough to beta read it for Lizzie I was so excited! This book was the absolute perfect conclusion to this trilogy.
Abby and Jake are the true definition of soulmates. Their love was something that transcended time, distance, other people, drama and unexpected twists! I really enjoyed their story, albeit I wanted to throw my kindle at times 🤣
I was fully obsessed with Jake! He’s one of my favourite male characters ever, his love for Abby was so strong and I loved how he cared for her and respected her. Abby is such a strong character, she grew up so much in this last book and really came into her own!
Their relationship was far from perfect, they were too very imperfect people who eventually worked through their issues and managed to bring the best out in each other. The development and growth they both showed in this book was so well written!
The perfect ending to this series. Abby and Jake have been back and forth over three books, but their timing wasn't ever right in this slow burn. They were too young, then there were miscommunications, then the cliffhanger at the end of the 2nd book, and we were all dying to find out what happens.
In this one, Jake really makes it right. Jake forced Abby to realize their love for each other and push past Abby's stubbornness. Because let's be real- Abby being stubborn caused a lot of the angst in this story.
I liked that all the supporting characters were able to support Abby, but also did what was best for her and Jake, even if it wasn't what she wanted (or even what they wanted).
I'm really hoping that some of the supporting characters get a story sometime too because they were awesome characters to root for (or hate).

I actually surprised at how much I ended up really enjoying this final book. I thought the cliffhanger at the end of the previous book would have made this a boring book. But Lizzie really delved into the intricacies of making a relationship work in spite of the love you feel for each other. Because it was clear to see Abby and Jake loved each other but they had so many issues they had to work through between themselves and individually if there were any chance of the relationship working long term. I like the fact we got to see them work through it which made the ending so satisfying. Also I know some may find Abby's avoidance to her issues annoying but I found that so relatable and it showed me that avoiding the issues never works and you face it head on. Like I said, I honestly I can't believe how much I enjoyed this book, considering the lacklusterness of the first book.
This is the third and final installment of the Always series. It picks up where Always Us left off. Abby gets some life altering news just as Jake's career takes off. She decides the time is not right for them and leaves Jake. Now they are navigating through the heartache and slowly trying to make their way back to each other. But once they get back together, can they make it work with no drama? Lizzie has written a wonderful feelgood second chance rock star romance. The characters are real with deep emotions for each other. You will not be disappointed for a single second.

After reading all 3 books, I will say I was hooked on Abby and Jake's story. I did find Abby to be annoying a lot of the time. She was her own worst enemy. She was so wishy washy. Always running away but I did enjoy the story. I needed a happy ending. There were parts of the story that pissed me off but then there were parts that had me laughing. It wad definitely a roller coaster. I was actually hoping for something good to happen to Dan. He was way to nice in the whole situation. He needs a book now. Overall....3.5 outta 5 stars for the series. I think the story was way too long...it could've been told in 2 books. There were times I skimmed because it was lagging at times.

ALWAYS was a good story of how love finds a way. It may give you a longer, more painful route but it found its way.
It's amazing how when I started the book, I thought I could read a chapter or two and go to bed. I ended up calling in late to my job and letting these characters tell me their rollercoaster romance of which has me not wanting to blink for fear of missing a moment.
Rock star, 2nd chance done brilliantly. Lizzie pulled me and my heart into their journey. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Just don't like this story at all. Abby was screwed up to torture someone like she did Jake was just sick. I don't know anyone in real life that would go through something like this. I didn't even feel happy when the book was done. There was so much meddling going on and listening to stupid clueless people. Her heart was telling her the way to go. She ignored it. Raising kids would not have broken them. You make it sound like its a terrible trial on a marriage or relationship. So not gonna read any more of your books. They are just too sad.
The book is a good, and enjoyable slow burn rock star second chance romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. Jake and Abby are meant to be together but their stubborn minds, and the obstacles they face has made their journey what it is. The story picks up where the end of Always Us left off on.

Jake and Abby finally end up on the same page. I swear I wss ready to strangle her. She wasted so many years before finally coming to her senses about Jake. I think things might have Benn clearer to her sooner if there wasn't so much alcohol involved. I was about ready to check her, Zoe and Sooie into rehab! I'm all happy now since Jake and Annie finally have their HEA. A must read book and series.
Overall this series was good. My only complaint is Abby. She was such an annoying mc. Abby was selfish, self entered and bratty the entire series. She demanded everyone do things on her time and when she didn’t get her way she ran and then got mad. I hated how she said she doesn’t know who she is because everything was tied up in Jake, what the hell was she doing for 8 years when she ran away and was not with him? The story line was good for the most part.
I don’t know why I even finished this series. It continued to devolve. This 26 year old idiot is pregnant and has the mental capacity of a 12 year old. At 26 I was married, had 2 kids, a college degree and an incredible career. She ran, refused to act like an adult (tall ask for her flat personality tbh) and was very very unlikable. I’ve said it twice but I’ll say it a third time. Jake deserved better. Soooo much better.
Well that was a massive OOPS! Shame on you Abby, everyone knows you don't listen in on others conversations, especially when your in a delicate state in mind haha Complete girl crush on this Amanda, she's a bad ass ❤, Wow that ending was amazing. Didn't think Make had it in him. He finally broke down her walls. Absolutely beautiful way to end the series.
Such a perfect ending of this series. Loved this book, it’s written with such emotion and detail you honestly just fall into the storyline. Love the suspense and twists throughout - really keeps you in your toes. Would love to see a spin of about Zoe, Sam or any of the other characters - I’m not ready to say goodbye to this fantastic group.
So I finally finished this series. I can’t even begin to tell you how annoying the H was. She’s was so cringe worthy. Seriously. I books were ok don’t get me wrong. But it was so hard to enjoy this read when there was always something wrong that was so minimal. You might like her and really enjoy the read but I just couldn’t get over how annoying she was.
Jeez the teenage agent but they're supposedly adults. After so many years of letting everybody interfere in their relationship Abby and Jake finally get it together. I just kept hanging on hoping someone would grow up stop being so afraid but I had to know how it ended.
Finally finished with this torturous series! Why do people root for this couple? Abby has got to be the most frustrating, annoying character I have ever read about. Why Jake continues to “fight” for her when all she does is cry like a baby and run away from everyone like a toddler? Jeesh…such a long drawn out story for a couple who never really came out of teenage years
Finally book 3 has come and I am so happy to say. I loved it. I had my heart in my throat more then once and I wanted to smack Abby on a few occasions. It was a good way to end the series. Thank Lizzie for giving me another great read
Sorry to say but this book made me so furious. The selfish behavior of Abby made her immature in my opinion. It is not often that I don't like the main character in a book but I totally had it with her and her egoistic mindset.
The best word I can come up with for this trio of books is infuriating. Over 900 pages of back and forth, ridiculous obstacles and wildly unlikeable characters. Almost painfully drawn out. The ending was cute, just could have down with it 500 pages earlier
