Carly Branning has gotten used to cleaning up the messes of Hollywood legend Cybil Caron and her lovable but scandal-prone family. But she's never worked with Tess, the eldest Caron sibling who is not like the rest; she’s a science nerd whose work is poised to revolutionize the world. She also looks great in a tux, much to Carly's consternation.
When Carly is ordered to work with Tess on a campaign for a prestigious scientific award they disagree about almost everything. But as Carly and Tess spend time together both in and out of the lab Carly realizes that Tess has a heart just as big as her brain.
Falling in love with the boss’s daughter is probably a bad idea. Even if she’s sexy, sweet, and makes a perfect lasagna.

A push-pull romance with Tess, a klutzy, cutting edge scientist, wrapped in her own world but deemed arrogant and undeserving of acknowledgement by her "powers that be" peers and Carly, P.R. guru to the Caron family, sent by Tess's mother Laila Caron (famed actor) to spiff up Tess's image and research in the hope of winning a prestigious award. The seeming naive idealist and bold realist met before and butt heads once again all the while struggling with conflicting emotions and Caron family drama. Throw in meddling research assistants, a supporting cast including Carly's co-workers Franny and Willow and Tess's brash youngest sister Seleca and you have a nicely developed storyline. A pushy boss, thread of humor, Italian food and misunderstandings that frustrate mixed with romance and I looked forward to a HEA. An overall delightful read.
I rec'd a copy through Booksprout and this is a voluntary and unbiased review.
This book revolves around a PR rep working for a multi generational Hollywood family. Carly is sent to help Tess on the other coast. Because Tess lives so far, Carly had not interacted with her in the past as she does with the rest of the family. As soon as she steps off the plane hilarity ensues and Carly finds that this latest task is more than she bargained for. This was a cute, low drama book and I thoroughly enjoyed it as my afternoon read. I laughed out loud a few times and would definitely pick it up for a reread. I loved the interactions from the whole family with Carly, especially with Tess’ sister Seleca.

I really enjoyed this book. It's full of endearing characters that create the environment around both our MC's. It's fun and I was totally entertained. I'm definitely going to check out Crofton's other books.
Carly has always worked with the Caron family but now working with eldest daughter, Tess, there is instant tension. Working together on a campaign about Tess’ work finds them disagreeing on many things until they properly start spending time together and Carly begins to realise there is more to Tess.
A lovely story that was packed with drama and slow burn romance with an air of angst. That immediate conflict for Carly of professional crossing paths with personal, creates an atmosphere between her and Tess the moment she starts developing any sort of attraction to her, which despite their clashing is pretty instant.
Simple in its build up, you just know that once Carly started to realise Tess was so different to the rest of her family and that she was so smart, they were just going to be perfect for one another. The sacrifices they both end up making to compensate for their feelings and connection are definitely worth it and they were just a lovely couple. The story is just packed with lovely moments, even if a little intensity due to Carly’s conflicting morals about her professionalism and matters of her heart remain, they all make those moments just that bit more special.
I really enjoyed the story. It ticked all the boxes for a sweet romance, and the fact Tess is a scientist doing fascinating work just added to the excitement and enjoyment of the story.
Public Relations and science rendezvous for an orchestrated meet-cute that will make you smile. Admittedly, I am not a hopeless romantic, but this book has just enough, angst, humor, and family ties to balance out the leading ladies love search fumbles. A happy ending amidst a bit of chaos and all wrapped up in deliciously consumable chapters. It's the perfect book for a rainy day, warm socks, and a cup of tea.

3,5/5 I didn't hate it ,I enjoyed it and I liked the way It was written the book making me feel like I was in the mc head instead of the feeling of reading someone's pov.The details were a nice touch.
They were cute ,not overly dramatic, not "can't take their hands of eachother " ,but they worked together.
Spin My Heart Around by Abby Crofton is wonderfully written with a slow pace that makes it quite enjoyable as there's no need to rush a well told story. Tess is adorkable and a charming mess of obliviousness and my favorite. Carly on the other hand seemed a bit standoffish, but mellowed out as the story progresses. I recommend this book. I only wish it was a bit longer.

I really enjoyed this book. It has wonderful humour making me laugh out loud at times. The story was sweet and also fairly unique. Tess is the daughter of a Hollywood legend and is a scientist on the edge of a breakthrough that will change how the world is powered. Carly works for her mum so daren’t get involved even though they have strong chemistry that’s unable to be put in a vial and ignored completely. There were a couple of typos but nothing that ruined my enjoyment.
Tess and Carly are a likeable pair of main characters even if their relationship chemistry is only lukewarm. There is an adequate supporting cast; Carly's two business partners and Tess's youngest sister are standouts there. At times the story arc feels like a collection of slightly disconnected scenes that don't quite flow together. In the last chapter before the Epilogue there is a fun, if not entirely unexpected, twist in the plot. Overall a decent read with the anticipated HEA.
A lovely gem from my TBR shelves! Carley is a PR expert for the Hollywood elite Caron family. Tess is the oldest child of the family and a renowned scientist in the running for a prestigious award. Cyrillic Caron the matriarch of the family has sent Carleton get Tessa over the top and win the award. This is a beautiful opposites attract love story! 5 stars!
