What do three scorching hot Navy SEALs have in common? Me and they're not stopping until I give them everything they crave.
You see, I loved them once. And then they pushed me away. Said I was too young. The daughter of the wrong man and too naive for their darker tastes.
The trio of gorgeous men were right. But it broke my heart when they turned me away.
Because of them I'm different now. Stronger and little more jaded.
Six years is a long time to harden a woman's heart. I've tried the dating apps, double dates and blind dates. All that got me is a relentless stalker and a worried friend who thinks she knows what I need to brighten my holiday spirit.
A single night at Club Sin. Should I dare to step into Room One the rules are simple—no inhibitions, no names and the promise of having the wildest night I'll ever experience.
I'm game until my three SEALs walk through my door with an ultimatum and looking like my best worst idea come true. They give me my first everything and in return I give them until Christmas eve alone in the mountains with snow, roaring fires and unlimited amounts of the BIG O.
Seems doable. But this time I'll be the one doing the walking out come Christmas morning.

Romance author Penelope Wylde is the naughty alter ego of a rebel southern belle who loves writing extra dirty, over-the-top romances that are NSFW. She loves beach time, sunsets, and all the book boyfriends she can fantasize about.
Wylde readers like it naughty, a bit sweet and always with a wicked happily-ever-after and Penelope always delivers! No matter what you're in the mood for all her heroes are bad boy sinners at heart and will make you swoon for them on every steam page.
If you love your romance wet, wicked, and WYLDE, you're in the right place!
Ok. There are some quirks that made my roll my eyes. Girl cum. This term needs to be thrown out and never used for multiple reasons I won’t get into. The author loves this term, please let it go! Also the men have the most pre-cum on them that I have ever read about. Leaky faucets for sure!
Simple rejection and then give us another chance book.
This was pureeeee smut. There really was no plot, but just the fact that Kandy has always been in love with her stepbrother and his 2 best friends who are all Navy Seals. They broke her heart, and years later they’re reunited. Just a good ole reverse harem. A quick read if you need some spice in your life.
Holy wow! Ms. Penelope is back with another 5 star book and holy hotness I loved it. Kandy has been in love with her stepbrother, Atlas, and his two close friends, Ryder and Brogan, for years but when she finally has the courage to tell them, they reject her. Now years later, thanks to Kandy's friends and Club Sin, Atlas and the guys finally get to show Kandy how prefect and hot they are together. I loved this book; very hot, drama filled, love, with broken heart-ness, but these four get a great HEA. I would highly recommend this book and I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has in store for us.

Oh heavens I’m clutching my pearls, but only because this was not good. The use of “girl-cum”, “pleasure button”, and “milk” is cringe and should never be used in an erotic romance book ever. Nothing grinds a story flow to a halt like the use of girl-cum. Why?! Never use this, no one uses this phrase for good reason. It’s ick. The sex sciences are confusing to follow who is where, what position people are in, it’s exhausting to read and figure out. The plot is weak. I even started skimming sex scenes because I just need to end the pain. The stalk suspense couldn’t save this. Speaking of that why didn’t Kandy go to hospital after being so badly beaten by the stalker? Oh because author couldn’t bother writing a realistic scene at a hospital?! There are way better reverse harem stories out there. I am not reading any more stories by this author after this, ugh. I’m not sure I’ll read anymore of this series. Especially after reading reviews and descriptions of some. Side note- I thought these were stand alones and it kind of is, but some side characters in foursomes appeared in this and sort of made me feel like I was missing something. So Room One may not equal book 1 in this series fyi. The women Mercy and Justice were the women mentioned in rev harems. Ok I found the books. They are called Mercy for Three and Justice for Three in a whole different series by Penelope Wylde. Annoying. Really gives me another push to not read any more of this series. Also there appears to be a Club Sin: Chicago series. Oof.
I've read books 1 and 2 and they've both been pretty tame. So far, there has been no need for the club. They only use it as a hotel. If you are looking for a RH novella, this might be it for you. If you are looking for something a bit more intense, you are going to be disappointed.
Both books also have stalkers. The description on book 3 makes it seem there is one there, as well. If this series doesn't take a turn for the kinkier, I think it should be renamed the stalkers of the women of RHs. I find it very irritating when books are titled as taking place, at least some of the time, in a sex club and scenes never actually happen there or, it's like these, and the scariest thing there is the potential for bed bugs. I hate the bait and switch.
I’m all for possessive red flag men but damn this was a major red flag, controlling and coherence manipulation, false imprisonment and purposely using a contract to trick the FMC not respecting her wishes of stopping and then having a fine like punishment for wanting to stop ,,, yikes
personally not for me BDSM has rules in place for a reason limits, safety and discussion are all factors discussed for scenes disguising all of the points mentioned above as BDSM and casually slipping in a safe word yeah no I can’t even see this as being CNC
The choice of words to describe anatomy im- pleasure button girl cum I had to put my device down for a good five minutes because I wanted to see if I was being too harsh nope was not.
The writing was professional level but the storytelling was all over the map. Her being a partner in a multi-billion dollar tech company had no coherent explanation and the stalker plotline was presented in an uneven fashion.
Now onto the 'romance'.
I was already having issues with the female lead being a twenty-six year old virgin, especially after she experienced passion with the three male leads at the age of twenty AND they left her heartbroken and lonely for SIX FREAKIN' YEARS!
And this was made even worse when the male leads declare her virginity was theirs and if anyone else had 'taken what is ours' (direct quote from the book), they would have killed them. Really?!! You left her heartbroken and lonely for SIX FREAKIN' YEARS and expected her to remain untouched in case you changed your mind and decided you wanted her after all. Talk about egotistical and heartless.
But when her 'best friend' (quotes because no true best friend would have been so disrespectful of her sexual autonomy) and the three male leads conspired to trap and coerce her into allowing them to have sex with her, even though they knew she was still a virgin and she made it clear she didn't want to just accept them back into her life AND, in return, they made it clear they felt they had the right to just walk back into her life, ignore her pleas (quote from the book: “Please, don’t do this.” after they chain her to the bed and start placing a spreader bar between her legs) and do whatever they wanted to her (like clamping her nipples and shoving a butt plug in her ass before even bothering to ramp her up) without her informed and verbal consent, I was out.
It was not romantic, it was not sexy, it was not play, it was sexual assault. Which was a shame because what I read of the smut would have been hot if it had been consensual. But the fact that it was not consensual when these men were suppose to love her just made it feel callous and like they were forcing their sexual desires on her.
The story would have been so much better if it had been only a few years, the male leads had started out less rapey and more seductive, cajoling and apologetic for leaving her desolate but, after SIX FREAKIN' YEARS, the male leads should have led with an explanation, some groveling, at least a bit of wooing and SOME GOD DAMN FUCKING RESPECT!
And she should have gotten laid in the meantime!
Oh, and one of the male lead confessing he had wanted to do sexual things to her since she was fifteen just added another layer of bad.
If you’re looking for a quick, easy, without much storyline to read then yes it’s for you.
Kandy (yes it’s her name) just take those guys back just like it’s okay after having been in pain for six years! It went like that : « hi, I’m not happy to see you again but damn, okay let’s have hot sex, yes you hurt me deeply, I’m going home, oh being attacked by my stalker, guys save the day and take me to their cabin, you didn’t want me but we had such great sex everything’s right with the world again then! » like WTF!!!
No fighting it at least a bit…. No getting into it more than that in passing!!
And like, she doesn’t go to the hospital ???? After being attacked like she had nobody is thinking it would be good to go to the emergency room you know… but no apparently it’s not a thing in that world they’re in!
Anyway… and ew, let’s not use the word « girl-cum », ever!
That story could have been so much better!!! The writing is good, the sex scene is great, but the story is just meh as it is! It’s a DNF but close at 74%, I just really wanted to see if it could be redeemed or not! Not! I shouldn’t have read it.
Kandy had her heart shattered when her stepbrother and his two best friends cruelly rejected her confession of love. What she didn’t know was that their rejection nearly broke them too. Years of regret and self-inflicted torment later, Atlas, Brogan and Ryder are back and they’re determined to win her heart, trust, and body. Kandy’s best friend sets her up for a much-needed night of indulgence at the Gilded Key Society to break her dry spell, but surprise, surprise when, her mysterious match turns out to be none other than the three men who once crushed her. This time, they’re not letting her slip away, and they make it crystal clear that tonight is all about proving their devotion. Now, I love a good second-chance romance, but I wasn’t entirely sold on how Kandy was steamrolled into their grand seduction. For a woman who had been deeply hurt, she deserved more than just a night of lust and declarations. Where was the groveling? The effort to truly earn back her love? And as if the emotional stakes weren’t high enough, there’s also a stalker with an unhealthy obsession with Kandy (though let’s be real, their identity wasn’t exactly a shocking revelation). Cue the over-the-top alpha male protective instincts as the guys whisk Kandy away to a secluded cabin under the guise of keeping her safe. But, while I get the need for urgency, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes when they skipped right past checking her over properly after the stalker’s attack—priorities, gentlemen! At least they gave her a few days to recover before things heated up again. And when I say heated up, I mean blazing inferno levels of steamy. That said, while the passion was definitely there, the actual execution felt a bit lacking with some of the descriptive language veering toward off-putting rather than sensual, and the balance between romance, plot, and steam felt off-kilter. If you’re here for the spice above all else, you’ll get plenty of that. But as for me? This wasn’t my favorite of the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I got sucked in to picking up this book after reading part of the first chapter provided at the end of another book. While it’s been on my TBR list, I couldn’t wait any longer after being sucked in by that first tease. I loved how enraptured the guys were by their love for FMC. The overall story was fantastic with a fair mix of steam and suspenseful story. I did however feel like a few key points were missing plus it included one of my most disliked troupes. The story begins 6 years in the past, where the 3 guys completely and devastatingly CRUSH the FMC’s heart💔😭💔. It was brutal and heartbreaking, and then we get a time jump to the future where we find a much more mature and successful FMC. Was the time to mature necessary? Yeah, realistically the characters all needed it; however, breakups and years passing are a very disliked troupe of mine. I don’t like the heartbreak💔 Also, it’s predictable from the first moment that we meet him, who the stalker was. I’m not clear what he was thinking, because I’m pretty sure he could have just been up front and asked her out, but…eh, crazy stalker. The FMC had a pretty awful mom and she never resolves that relationship which is a bummer. Lastly, I REALLY don’t understand why the guys were so harsh in the first place nor what exactly was the main hurdle for step-bro Atlas. I hate the ‘if you love us, you’ll leave us’ mentality the guys put off, it’s like a double stab in the back. Was he worried about the step sibling aspect? It says his job but he’s in the military, not climbing social ladders, so that shouldn’t matter. I wish there had been bit more groveling after that 💔💔💔
Just to warn any future readers of this book. This book was all smutt and no plot. I have no complaints on that sometimes a girl just needs to read a book about a girl getting railed by three men. Don't judge me. Also, a big no no for me that drove me up the walls "girl cum" seriously "girl cum" why is this even a term?!?! I wanted to pull my hair out when I read that no offense against the author but don't do that again. PLEASE!
This book was about Kandy (and no she is not a stripper) she has been in love with her stepbrother and his two best friends for as long as she can remember. One night before she leaves to go to the big apple she takes matters into her own hands and initiates a deeper relationship between the men. All goes well until Atlas, her step brother, interrupts Ryder and Brogan, his best friends, when they about to go ALL the way. Atlas forces them to stop and tells Kandy never to come back because he doesnt want this for her life. Six years later, she is a partner at a tech company and has a stalker (Yes, I am glossing over this). She hasnt seen these men since that night but she has never stopped having feelings for her them. Her best friend gives her a night at Club Sin and the rest you will have to read to find out.
Kandy has been in love with her SEAL step brother (Atlas) and his 2 best friends (Brogan and Ryder) since she was young. Her mother found out about their ‘disgusting’ attraction which forced Atlas to shatter her heart when she was 20. Six years later, her love life has been terrible. Mo second dates and no one can compare to her original, sinful loves. Being stalked also puts a real damper in blossoming love. So her best friend sets her up with a Christmas gift that keeps giving- a night at Club Sin. What she doesn’t know is that her past is here to make amends. With threats from a stranger and possible forgiveness for her SEALs- who wouldn’t be overwhelmed?
I never thought one phrase can literally make my face go 🤢, but the amount of times ‘girl-cum’ came up was not necessary. There were a couple other phrases, but that one icked me out. However, it was a nice story with some plot. I wish we got more back story with Justice and Mercy, but I didn’t NEED it to survive. The stalker was obvious to me from the jump, not shocked. Confused about the set up for some scenes, but made up my own understanding. A quick read which got the point across so I may still read the other 21 books in the series.
Penelope Wylde kicks off the brand new multi-author Club Sin series with the hot, sizzling, swoon-worthy reverse harem romance Room One. Kandy has been in love with her Navy SEAL stepbrother Atlas and his closest friends and fellow Seals Ryder and Brogan since she was a teenager, and at twenty she finally works up the nerve to make a move before they deploy once again. When she is rejected in their quest to protect her, she flees her home in Texas for New York City. Six years later, her best friend gifts her with a night at the exclusive and expensive Club Sin - and her suitors are the men that broke her heart. Intent on making it up to her and claim her as theirs, Atlas, Ryder and Brogan pull out all the stops to prove to Kandy that she is meant to be theirs. Three alpha, swoon-worthy heroes? Check. A strong, sassy, sultry heroine? Check. A must-read reverse harem romance with enough sizzling chemistry to melt your Kindle? Check and check!

For a hot RH - with ALLLL the steaminess wanted and all, this had it! I loved all the hot scenes, and I did feel that I liked how their relationship all came together a bit since there was history with this group. If you are a fan of really steamy and kinky (thank the author so much for that!) - this had it all and I am putting this author as a def to-watch as a result!!!
My only reason for the half star minus is - mostly for the tiny plot parts. I do think that it's important to see this also as a more short/self contained story so that some expectations with the plot - I let go as a result. (Such as more depth in the main characters liking each other/so and so on) However I did feel the struggle with the guys leaving her for 6 years like the summary did preface, really extreme??? As well as the sub underling plot they had as well in this story. I did feel that the relationship enough with the guys would have sufficed enough and would have been better more focused on without that subplot.
By the end of the first chapter I loathed the trio of SEALs, properly full blown anti-hero asshats... but they come back with such devotion, such gentleness (and some roughness omgosh), that brings Kandy back to life. Restores her confidence and is a kindle melting kick off to the Club Sin series!!
Written so well, that even this short book has great character development, with all having distinct thoughts, words and personalities. The build and space between them is torturous, but it is equally so worth the wait. The steam is delicious, utterly detailed like you can feel it yourself. Great story, great start to the series - based on THIS, I have bought or pre-ordered all of the others (22 books in total). Whoever put the series together - hats off for starting it with this - take my money!
Phew.....holy hotness, Batman! My God, Penelope Wylde knows how to write three sexy, intense military men and the twist villain! I had the villain pegged most of the book, but turns out I wasn't even close. Though I am extremely curious about what my pick's problem is.
As much fun as this book was, I thought it seemed a bit rushed. The action seemed to heat up quickly and out of nowhere; I really wish the time would've been taken to really build the suspense and the worry. I also thought that Kandy seemed to forgive her three men pretty quickly for something that was very hurtful and traumatic too. I'd have loved to see her make them work to earn her forgiveness so it would feel more genuine.
I'm excited to see where this series takes me next though! If anything, it's sure to be a wild ride, or several ;)

Trigger warnings Stalker Bondage Violence on mfc
Kandy (mfc) Atlas (mmc) Brogan (mmc) Ryder (mmc) Justice (mfc boss, best friend) Mr. Mackay (driver) Joshua (creepy guy at work)
Kandy is in love with her stepbrother and his 2 best friends. They are Navy SEALs, older, and forbidden to her. But she wants who she wants, and it's all 3 of them. Together. She goes to Atlas' boathouse on the men's last night in town to see if she can convince them. Atlas isn't there, but the other 2 are, and they get started on what should be all kinds of fun. Atlas shows up, joins only long enough for her to come, then throws her out. But not before her mom and his dad catch her. That scene was tear-jerking. She tells them she is leaving Texas and never coming back, and for 6 years, she has kept to that. Her best friend/ boss has gifted her a night at Club Sin for Christmas. She doesn't want to go. Between work and a stalker, she's exhausted. She wasn't expecting her past to meet her there. She stays through round one but runs afterward. That's where her stalker finds her and punishes her for where she was.
This was a great plot and interesting story. One of two options and it went with option two, but the ride there was steamy and hot. The last scene was *awwe* and cute/steamy. I loved the tattos the men had for her.
Gilded Dreams is Book 5 of the Gilded Key Society. This is a steamy, why choose - reverse-harem, forbidden, girl gets her stepbrother and friends second chance romance. Kandy is a young woman who has always wanted her stepbrother Atlas and his 2 besties, Ryder and Brogan. The three are Navy SEALs. She confessed her feelings 6 years ago and was turned down and left humiliated. Now, they are getting a second chance in Club Sin. I did not like this book as much as the others in the series. It was mostly smut, very little plot, which I don't necessarily mind, but this one didn't feel the same. I didn't get the normal sexy and hot chemistry with this foursome. We do end on a happy note, but It was just OK for me. 3.5☆s.

Kandy has been in love with her step-brother, Atlas, and his two best friends, Ryder and Brogan, for years, they're her own Navy SEALs. But when she finally has the courage to confess, they reject her which made her leave and never see them again. But six years later, because of her friend's invitation, she meet them again at Club Sin and enjoy a hot-filled night at Room 1. Eventhough she left them after, while also being chased by a stalker, her men will not stop this time to claim their butterfly. And they did afterall the drama.
I loved this book because it's very detailed, intense, very hot, drama filled, and have a great HEA. Though the story and plot is too short for me. But still, this first book is a must read from this series. Love it. ☺
Kandy has been in love with her stepbrother, Atlas, and his two best friends, Ryder and Brogan, for years. However, none of the men are willing to take things further where Kandy is concerned. This rejection hurt her, but now six years have passed by. Is she able to give them a second chance?
There is no denying the chemistry between this group. The guys love Kandy and know six years prior she wasn’t completely ready for them, even though it hurt them and caused some tension between the three men. There is a stalker involved and that brings out the protective side in the men. They will do anything to make sure Kandy is safe.
This is a spicy, fast paced novella that can easily be read in a single sitting.
If you’re looking for a forbidden, second chance, RH check this one out.
I enjoyed this story when it starts its like it was going to be too perfect too fast, but then her alpha men mess it up and her mother goes crazy prude... Gosh maybe she could divorce the dad if its such a problem that her daughter loves her boyfriend's kid... But then the story gets better when she goes on to become her own success and then there is the crazy stalker... I'll leave it a surprise as they don't figure it out until the end who it is and that's part of why I enjoyed it so much. It has a couple action packed fights with stalker guy and her and her Seal's. There are two other Reverse harem couples mentioned which I do intend to add to the samples I pick my next reads from...
Kandy is in love with her stepbrother and his two best friends. In a bid to seduce them she visits their boat and things begin to get hot and steamy until her step-brother puts an end to it and they break her heart. As if that wasn't bad enough when leaving the boat Kandy's mum spots her and puts 2+2 together - feeling ashamed, shunned and heart broken Kandy flees to New York to start a new life.
Six years later and Kandy has a new home, a great new job and a stalker to go with it all too. Still not over the three men of her past her best friend arranges a night at Club Sin where dreams come true.
Full of steamy sex scenes, passion, twists and turns this was a great read, my only criticism was i didn't like some of the language used eg ‘pleasure nub’
If something like this actually exist I would go to it. This book is everything you would want in a reverse harem but shorter. But that doesn't mean that there were some pieces that I just didn't like. The beginning with the parents the mom's giving off really bad vibes. But I love the stepfather he knew that no matter what they were going to end up together which is all a person could ask for from a parent.
The spicy sceneI give it a 3.5 they could have been better. But the plot and the whole storyline is a four again could have been better but I liked it. And I can't wait to read more of Penelope Wylde's books
Quick naughty read but body function references were a huge distraction.
I enjoy a good quick novella like every else. I can even handle more sex than plot. But when the H's come is referred to milk and the h's getting wet or having an orgasm is referred to girl cum I have to draw the line. It was completely distracting to read. I thought it was just this book, or some humor thrown in. It's not, it's this author's style. Sadly I won't be reading anything else by this author as having to go back and reread things because of odd acronyms for bodily fluids isn't enjoyable during reading.
Six years ago, she open her heart to them and they broke it. Today, she is successful, but something is missing. Her best friend gives her one night at the private Club Sin. Each room represents their kink of their choice. What is the kink of room one? Who will pass the door? Club Sin hopes you have a satisfying experience and follow the rules.
In the first novella in the series Club Sin, I love the little story between the character. The mystery around club Sin really intrigued me. I like the aspect of trust and respect in this book.
Kandy was shut down hard by her stepbrother after his teammates took things over the edge. She is scarred by their rejection, but is successful in her career. Her love life is nonexistent, she has a stalker, and her boss just bought her a night at the Gilded Key. Atlas, Brogan, and Ryder are older and wiser now and with a little help from a friend hope to win Kandy back. Penelope Wylde delivers the best RH characters, lots of steam, plenty of action, and emotional energy! I loved the intensity, her independence, and their banter!! Great series!!.

I've read this book when it was Room One in Club Sin but its been changed since then. I'm glad to get to read the lengthened naughtier version (or so I think).
When Kandy's (FMC) advances are rejected by Navy Seals Atlas (her stepbrother), Ryder and Brogan she leaves her hometown to start afresh in New York. One night at Club Sin a place to open up eyes to your sexuality, kinks and desires. Only for the past to collide with the present and all of what that brings for Kandy. A highly sexual book but i liked the dynamic between all of them. It was a quick but a pretty good read and I enjoyed reading it just as much as the first book.
This is not my normal trope, reverse harem , but most of the authors doing this series, Club Sin, are the ones I actively read. The stepbrother and his two best friends have been in love with Katy for sometime, it all came to a head and pushing her away almost killed their friendship.
The enlist the aid of her best friend to get her to Club Sin for the night and rope her for the rest of the month. I enjoyed the story and it was so hot, who can ask for more.
