Twinkle, twinkle little star
Heathens coming, brand new scar.
Slaughter turns to pained goodbye.
Never knowing if I’ll die.

A DeAngelis family war is brewing and these heathens are the vicious ringleaders, pulling the strings of their pawns for the greatest show of all—a show that will guarantee sweet, sweet victory.

Only victory comes with a price.

The question is, what are they willing to lose to get the one thing they’ve always wanted?

They kidnapped me. Haunted me. Allowed me to believe that I could trust them, and I foolishly did. I’m in deeper than I could have known, and now there’s no going back.

When blood spilled, I ran at the first chance I got. That was my biggest mistake.

Do. Not. Run.

It’s been drilled into my head since the moment they took me.

A searing bullet through the chest is enough to seal my fate, and no matter how much I scream, they refuse to believe my innocence. They’re out for blood and they won’t stop until they’ve watched the life fade from my eyes.

These heathens are nothing but the callous, cruel monsters the world has always known them to be and they hold every last card between their devious fingers. Their own flesh and blood fear them. They’ve locked them away for the greater good, but they won’t be kept down, not anymore.

This war just took a turn for the worst and navigating my way to freedom might just cost me my life.

Ugh, I really wanted to like this series! It has been on my tbr for a few months now and I've been so excited to get into a new dark, why-choose, mafia romance but I have to stop this series at this book sadly. It was all the same as the last book basically going in circles with no real advancement to the plot or their relationship. Plus literally every character was just dumb.

The guys are supposed to be these ruthless, skillful, men who are apparently very strategic and always know exactly what's going to happen but somehow, the for two biggest moments in the story, they somehow act like chickens with their heads cut off. A six year old could have prevented both of those things from happening with just a little common sense. It was very frustrating and just there to move the plot along into another pointless loop.

That is another thing that bothered me more in this book. Nothing made sense, and I think we all knew there was no way some of these things could be solved as a lot of big "how did that happen" moments were explained with a simple "it just was". Like when they escaped the FBI. They just said when the three of them are together, they can do anything. Well that doesn't really explain how you got out of that mess! There may have been some half-assed other explanation afterwards that I missed but, by that point, I was already pretty checked out of the story. Also dodging bullets? What is this? The Matrix?

On top of that, Shayne would be terrified and skittish one moment, then put on this false bravado -that was honestly kind of cringy to read- the next. She always talked a big game and acted like she was tough with very little follow through, and when she did follow up with actions, they were underwhelming and never really turned out well. Also she finally talks about what Ariana did to her and quickly brushes on the fact that it was not consensual but doesn't hold the men just as accountable which they should have been.

With all that being said, I could see the next two books were going to be much of the same that we already saw in the first two and I just don't think it's fair to finish this series knowing I won't like it. But my issues with the book are very critical and if you're just looking for a good time with a dark romance where you can just go along with the ride, you might really like this book. I can see the appeal to it with all the crazy plot twists and hot guys but I just couldn't get into it.

Man oh man, Sheridan Anne sure knows how to write some crazy hot psychos!! Heathens is book two in the Depraved Sinners series and this wild ride is keeping me on my toes!! Beware of spoilers!!

First, I have to declare my undying love for Shayne! This girl has been put through the ringer left and right by pretty much EVERYONE and despite it all, she comes back swinging. She’s vulnerable when she needs to be but determined to make something bigger for herself. I’m loving her journey!

So we left off book one with a bang … literally! Mystery hooded figure shows up, takes her shot, and leaves Shayne to take the fall. Roman and Levi proceed to place the blame on her and try to break the truth out of her. These guys are BRUTAL!!! But when the truth comes out, the guys are left reeling and relationships have certainly shifted.

That’s the driving force of this book - Shayne’s growth and her relationships with Marcus, Roman and Levi. That ofcourse led to some VERY hot steam!! The rooftop 🥵🔥

Giovanni is still a grade A dick, so is Ariana, and then the mystery hooded figure, the woman in the casket, and the guys master plan. But the last 10% … I was NOT prepared! We may have cleared up one thing but now everything is in jeopardy and the question is … how will they all make it out alive? I’m definitely ready for book three!!

This series is slowly becoming one of my favorites! Shayne is slowly getting more tolerable which is great, but what really carries this story are the brothers. 🥵🥵 phew… they are something else even if they are psychotic.

This second book was absolutely mental we start here where we left off previously with both Roman and Levi both convinced of Shane’s guilt and determined to make her pay in blood and pain for her accused crime. The fallout from their actions causes a fracture when they eventually realise their grave mistake. I loved seeing them both horrified and filled with such deep guilt and remorse when they discover just how wrong they’ve been making up and fixing all of this and earning Shayne’s forgiveness isn’t going to be a case of a simple band-aid that’s for sure.

Shayne finally evolves and her metamorphosis into what she has always carried within is spectacular now fully embracing her darkness she’s more than a match for the men in her life and this now more blood-thirsty vengeful Shayne only contributes more to her alluring appeal.

This was action filled and graphic throughout things finally come to a head with their father the repercussions of this are something Shayne couldn’t ever have predicted. I wasn’t surprised though at where this eventually led as I’d kind of been expecting this for a while but I still totally appreciated it and I’m excited to now learn more.

This series is excellent dark gritty and full of danger it’s a very easy well written read that I’m now totally invested in. I also liked that we got some small insights into the men's thoughts with parts written from their POV I definitely would have liked more though as this is still mostly all Shayne. I’m now looking forward to diving right on into the next one right away.

Well this all keeps getting more intense with every passing page. So much drama, so much left to uncover, and of course, another insane cliffy. At this point I just expect my heart to stop beating at the end of any Sheridan Anne story.

But what I loved most is Sheridan playing to her character strengths. While she's certainly known for her super sexy, soapy, over the top dark and gritty dramatic flair, where I've most admired her work is in how immersively meta she is with her characters- how we get to see them be unpredictable and fictional but she also gives them substance and evolution. I knew this strength would suit her will as she dove into the reverse harem trope. Pyschos only scratched the surface of who these folks are, with intentional mystery around the guys in particular to keep the anticipation and suspense high. Heathens starts to uncork them- we start to see who and what they are, and the makings of the character journeys we still have to explore. The substance and nuances, the complicated dynamics felt all the more rich ad engaging as the result, and now we get to really start to swim around in their cracks and the relationship chemistry that is evolving and deepening. You're both connected and still desperate to know them more- and how all the pieces of not just the plot puzzle but their individual hearts fill fit together- but now we see all the edges.

Of course our heroine too is slipping into the puzzle as pieces lock together- at times she's too forgiving, at times strong and mature and others less so. But alas, that's human, and that's one thing I've come to appreciate about a Sheridan Anne heroine. At first they charm me with their spark, sass, and resilience, and then as they become mired in jaw dropping drama and find themselves in the tangles of a challenging attraction, their flaws emerge. That gives SA space to help her heroines grow and evolve to keep them from being too static or one note. Adversity highlights all the parts of us, and a character can't grow without challenge- and their actions and choices will be imperfect. I'm excited to see where Shayne goes next- and can not wait for more from these depraved sinners!

(audiobook) With this book, we confirm the fall of the nice girl that was Shayne, and the loss of her soul. I kind of liked how she accepts her deviancy. But that wasn’t an easy read.

Shayne starts the book as a victim, but not a weak one. Interesting. Yes, the brothers accuse her of a terrible crime, and don’t believe her when she says she’s innocent, but she never gives up. She’s even a bit defiant even when she knows she’s gonna go through hell. She taunts them at times. I liked this slight shift in the power imbalance between her and the DeAngelis.

After that, she slowly finds her place with the brothers. Well, more than finds, she fights for it and takes it. Her bratty behavior comes back full force. In that context, it was a bit surprising when she forgives what Roman and Levi did to her–especially after insisting so much that she never will.

But that forces the men to be on their best behavior. Shayne has some power over them for sure, and though she keeps doubting it, she still constantly gambles and uses it anyway. They plan to overthrow their father from the head of the organization, and things happen in this book in order to get there. It isn’t pretty–it’s even quite gruesome, be prepared.

There’s still a lot of sexy, and it’s a lot more consensual, so I was all for it. And there are hints at some jealousy, that’s cute in a reverse harem, I think.

The imbalance between the narrators is still there, but as the female narrator does a great job, and the male narrator has a couple more chapters to show his talent, it’s okay. Long book, but I was never bored.

Quickie

- Series: Depraved sinners #2 (directly follows the previous book and ends on a cliffhanger)
- Hashtags: #mafia romance #reverse harem #enemies to lovers #brothers
- Triggers: violence, deaths, torture, drug trafficking
- Main “couple”: Shayne Mariano & (Marcus + Levi + Roman DeAngelis)
- Hotness: 5/5
- Romance: 3/5
- + that was incredibly hot
- – Shayne easily forgives…

Sheridan Anne Depraved Sinners series bks 01-04.5

Marks and Pain

Shayne Mariano is in a world of hurt. This starts exactly where book one ends, and it isn't pretty. Not even a little.

This is just as twisted, steamy, and tormenting as book one. The triggers are strong, so please check if you need to. The danger is at every turn.

Fucking hell. Why did I have to be kidnapped by a bunch of fucked-up brothers with daddy issues?
-- Shayne Mariano

The DeAngelis brothers, Levi, Marcus, and Roman, are still massive alphaholes that are barely likeable - nothing surprising there - but their humanity peeks through more with each chapter. I fear that I'm getting close to liking them.

I wouldn't call the wolves cute pets, but they gain more of the spotlight. They are protective. And... they are given names. 😂 Shayne really is missing Tarzan as she names them Dil and Do. 🤣 Let's hope they both make it to the end credits. 🤞

As for the cliffhanger... ☠️🖕😝 It's a good thing I have the entire series, or I'd be ticked. Have I mentioned that I hate cliffhangers? I do. Does that stop me from reading the books? Apparently not. *sigh*

Reading in order is highly recommended. Still, there is a pretty decent recap if you haven't read 'Psychos' first.

I listened to the audio book as part of 'Depraved Sinners Complete Series'. The narrators are Kelsey Navarro and Blake Lockheart, with Kelsey carrying the bulk of the book as it's nearly all from Shayne's POV. She does a great job making sure all that attitude and desperation come hurdling across my earbuds. 🎧❤️🎧

Narration: 4 stars

Again with the ENDING.. the twists and turns in this book has my head spinning still. This picks right back up the night that Shayne is forced to flee the castle and Roman stops her. Shayne has to deal with some serious fallout from that night and pleads her case to Roman and Levi. The guys move forward with their plan to blow up the DeAngelis family and dethrone Giovanni. Relationships are strained to say the least but seeing herself as an eternal prisoner in their castle, Shayne accepts her fate. She wants in on the action and starts to train in order to hold her own with the brothers. We get some good spice with this group, with Shayne’s confidence and taking what she wants ramping it up even more. Two words, DRUM SET. The brothers set out for the final showdown with Shayne and we begin to see their father’s reign crumble, but Giovanni is most certainly not going down without a fight. But of course it’s not going to end there, secrets are reveled and I was left wanting so much more!! These cliffhangers will be the death of me. Can’t wait for the next book. 5/5 Overall 4/5 Spice

Thrilling, intense, and dark. “Heathens” dives deep into a world of power, betrayal, and intense passion. The story follows bold characters navigating a violent and chaotic underworld, where loyalty is tested, and danger is ever-present.
It was hot and spicy, twisted, and highly entertaining 👌

Well the plot thickens! I’ve been dying to find out what happens after the ending of Psychos and jeezus it gets wilder and wilder this book was packed full of intense action drama and steam ! Shayne this poor girl she is the epitome of bad ass FMC but she just can’t seem to catch a break I will say this bish is a survivor her strength and her will to live and make it in a world that ain’t kind to females or see them nothing more than a pretty decoration is just awesome her character growth in this book was amazing! This story had me literally on the edge of my seat the whole way through this book, just when you think you know how something is going you actually have no clue the twists and turns definitely keep you turning page after page trying to get the answers you desperately need and just when you think you know what is going down you get a jaw dropping ending that has left me utterly speechless it just can’t end like this! I’m going to need Savages now please!!!

I have been preparing myself for this one since the end of PSYCHOS and I was not ready. There were multiple times where I was gripping my kindle and others where I was laughing. Sheridan mixes the action, drama, comedy and steam perfectly.

Let me tell you.. Shayne is amazing. She is probably one of my favorite FMCs, ever. She is defiant and doesn't care who she offends. Her mouth gets her in trouble quite a few times, but the stuff she says is hilarious.

If you thought PSYCHOS was spicy, just wait until you read this one 👀👀🥵🥵🥵

The end of this one. What. Was. That?!? WHAT WAS THAT?!? I was shocked. I was not expecting it. I need to know what happens. I need some answers, maybe I'll get them in SAVAGES, but know Sheridan, probably not 🤣🤣

The depravity continues and this time Shayne is even more embroiled in it. Someone set her up to take the fall for shooting Marcus and setting Roman and Levi on a war path aimed at her. Her and the boys are not only now trying to take over the DeAngelis family, but also find who shot Marcus. The war is only beginning and Shayne and the boys have to be careful not to show their hand to early.
More and more twists and turns lay ahead and just like last book this one ends on an explosive cliffhanger.

ARC REVIEW -
Story - 5/5⭐️
Spice - 3/5 🌶
The spice wasn’t as high as book one, but omfg the drum set scene 🥵😮‍💨

Once again, Sheridan made me realize she hates us with her cliffhangers 🤣
Heathens picks up right where Psychos left off and Sheridan makes a point of not dragging anything out which I really appreciate. Shayne is still discovering herself in this book and really comes out of her shell more. Although, I do feel she is constantly unlucky, she needs more good her way and I’m hoping books 3 and 4 can bring that 😅

And of course that cliffhanger is brutal, again. I’m counting down the seconds until Savages.

I want to like Roman a lot, I do, but this book especially he still hasn’t redeemed himself for me. I know he will, but as of right now he hasn’t. But I know book 3 will be A LOT of him.

I don’t think Sheridan can write anything bad, she’s continuously kept me intrigued in her writing and wanting more. I cannot wait for book 3 of this series.

I would 15/10 recommend this series. So good!

I just have just one question.. I'm looking at you Sheridan Anne... where do you get your spicy inspiration from? Because that rooftop and drum set scene 🥵 I needed to put my kindle down for a quick intermission.

Heathens picks up right where Psychos left off. Marcus was shot and Shayne was on the run. She had no choice but to flee because she knew if she didn't the brothers would try to pin the shooting on her. But she didn't make it very far before Roman caught up to her. The first few chapters were definitely hard to read. My heart broke for Shayne. I was yelling at both Roman and Levi to pull their heads out of their "you know what's". I'm glad Shayne stuck to her guns and made them grovel for her forgiveness. She wan't the scared kidnapped little girl anymore when they first took her. They broke her down and she built herself up to the bada$$ she needed to be to survive.

Between the four of them later in the book they started to really take the first steps into trying to overthrow Giovanni. They wanted their revenge and it finally felt like they were making progress.

Well.. until they were severely set back.

ps. we find out who the hooded chick is and it's even more heartbreaking as to how we figure this out.

😈12/10 recommend this series. If you are still on the fence, hop of it and starting reading. You will not be disappointed.
🌶🌶🌶

And in true Sheridan fashion.. yes the cliffhanger is just as brutal as the first.

don't know how Roman is going to come around in the next two books

Another great addition to the series! I'm loving it so far, and while I can see that Roman is attracted to shayne, I just don't see how I'm ever going to feel like Shayne isn't a stand in replacement for the love of his life who died.

🎶 You betrayed me. And I know that you'll never feel sorry. For the way I hurt, yeah 🎶

A DeAngelis family war is brewing, and the heathens at the center of it aren't just soldiers - they're the masterminds, orchestrating chaos with bloodstained hands and merciless hearts. They kidnapped her, toyed with her trust, and pulled her deep into their world of power and deception. She thought she could escape. She was wrong.

─── .¸✿¸.•❤•.❀• THOUGHTS¸•❀.•❤•.¸✿¸.⋆ ───

THEY TORTURED HER 😭😭😭. She screamed over and over again that she did not shoot Marcus, and still they did not trust her. Levi, to his credit, felt terrible. He carries that guilt, constantly thinking she would come after him to end his life. Her punishment was Roman and Levi living in the guilt of what they did to her. Now, someone reading this might feel disappointed in them. And I am—still am. But the series has always led with the fact that they are psychos, raised to kill. They don’t have compassion outside of the people in their circle, and they will always put each other first.

[Roman]

“You’re not going anywhere,” he growls, relentless with his tight grip. “You shot my brother and shit like that will not go unpunished. Make no mistake, Shayne, you will die by my hand, but not like this. I want to feel your screams shattering my eardrums as your life slowly slips away.”

He makes me sigh in disappointment 😭. His trust issues run so deep and he is so closed off that it feels impossible to break through to him. Deep down, he does care, but he is so emotionally stunted that he doesn’t know how to react properly to anything. When Shayne told him to let go, he punished her instead. He pushed her off of him while he was still inside her, dismissing her entirely in one of the most brutal ways possible. He has moments where he is protective, where he doesn’t want to hurt her, but the reality is that he has caused the most damage. Still pining over Flick, he can’t process that he has feelings for someone else. He doesn’t know how to let go of the past, and it’s destroying any chance of moving forward.

[Marcus]

“YOU,” he spits, striding across the room like he didn’t just have life-saving surgery. “IF YOU HURT ONE FUCKING HAIR ON HER BODY, I’M GOING TO SPILL YOUR GODDAMN USELESS BLOOD.”

MY BOY.🤍❤️💗💌💖 He is twisted. He gets off on pain and the worst things imaginable, but somehow he is still loveable. He cares for her—he might even love her—but he denies it because he doesn’t understand the concept of love or what it really means to feel it. He even thought she would abandon her brothers after the torture so he could have her for himself. He is insane, no doubt about it. Still, he is both rough and gentle with her. He shows a kind of leniency when it comes to her projecting her feelings. Not once has he misled her or pretended to be someone he’s not. She knows exactly who he is, and she likes him that way ❤️💌💗. He can be charming one day, moody the next, or totally dismissive. That comes from never being taught how to communicate emotions—violence is the only language he knows. His first reaction is always bloodshed. And yet, when he realized his brothers had hurt Shayne, he didn’t hesitate to side with her 💌💖❤️💓🤍. He even told her that if she wanted to kill them, he would have resented her but still respected her choice. That moment showed how valuable and special she has become to him. I can’t wait for him to figure out exactly what those feelings mean—and for her to show him.

[Levi]

“Why would I stop?” he questions, his tone void of all emotion. “I’m having so much fun.”

“There she is,” he tells me, heat and desire pooling through his lethal, obsidian stare. “The real Shayne has come to play.”

He caused her the most physical pain and inflicted torture on her again and again—all because of a misunderstanding 😭😭😭. The difference with Levi is that he was apologetic. He felt terrible. The guilt hit him instantly, and he wished more than anything that he could undo the damage, but it was too late. From that point on, he respected her boundaries (bare minimum, yes) after everything he had done. He let the pace be hers, never pushing, and waited until she was ready to come to him. Levi has always been the most gentle and understanding of the group, so when the others mess up, he is the one who comforts Shayne. I am not saying it makes up for it (obviously not) but it counts for something. Don’t give up on him yet.

─── .¸✿¸.•❤•.❀• OVERALL¸•❀.•❤•.¸✿¸.⋆ ───

Flick was alive. Now she is dead. Shayne is in captivity, and they took Roman’s baby. I hate to say it, but I did not want Flick to be a threat, so… HIP HIP.

After reading Psychos, I knew Heathens was going to take us on a wild ride and it definitely did! Thankfully it picks up where Psychos left off, right in the middle of all the action.

Shayne is a really interesting character. I appreciate the different sides of her personality and the way she’s evolving the longer she’s with the guys, but there’s something about her that drives me a little crazy. She’s strong and she’s growing into her role at the castle with the DeAngelis brothers, but she’s also still recovering from a lot of physical and emotional trauma.

The guys in this book show some different sides of themselves while they’re learning to exist with Shayne around. They’re crazy, unemotional killers but they also have a softer side where they clearly show how much they care for Shayne, even when she’s being difficult. I feel like after everything that’s happened in this book, books 3 and 4 are going to be crazy for the DeAngelis brothers - lots of action, craziness and violence on the horizon for them.

When all of them are on the same page and together, they’re so spicy and I can’t get enough. The DeAngelis brothers are on another level and they’re slowly bringing Shayne to the dark side. I’m looking forward to more of these four together - navigating the mafia world, taking down dealers and family and getting into all kinds of trouble.

I’m ready for book 3 already! After the way this one ended and the crazy cliffhanger, I can’t wait to see where this series is going to go next!

I know you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover but wowza. I definitely went in search for a lipstick just like that.

Onto the book… Sheridan has done it again. After needing to recover from that book one cliffhanger I dove right into this book the minute it hit my Kindle. Those first few chapters… My heart just didn’t know how to feel. I was a mix of emotions, especially after getting to know the characters in book one.

As the story continues I thought my emotions were beginning to settle (spoiler alert, probably not smart). We finally got little glimpses of the guys pasts, which I had been waiting for. There were some big moves being made and, of course, some twists and turns. I’m not sure if the ending was a complete shock because we were given a few hints earlier in the book. However, I think it was a pretty decent emotional cliffhanger. I think that when the events are revealed to the other characters it’s going to be explosive.

This book’s release date was brought up earlier than planned and I can’t help hope that book 3 might be as well (hopeful thinking but no pressure of course). Sheridan is great at dragging you into her books and slowly letting you go in pieces. Definitely one of my 1-Click authors.

Love this series

Heathens by @sheridan.anne.author
…………
“You want me, you want to know what it’d be like to feel my hands all over your body, to feel my lips moving with yours, to be the one woman who could tame the wild beast inside me. Even after everything I’ve put you through, you would still kneel before me.”
…………….
In love with this series! Book 2 was just as good as book 1 and OMG that ending 😲. Book 2 picks up right after the literal chaos of book 1 and it just gets crazier from there! We get a lot of answers and surprises but the ending will have you screaming!
…………..
“It’s a real shame that they’re a bunch of psychotic heathens, otherwise, I’d allow myself to truly fall for such strong-willed, powerful men. You know, not considering the fact they tortured me. It kinda kills the vibe.”
…………….
Book 2 brings the steam and you will fall for these characters so hard. Shayne is a real bad ass and she really takes on her own persona with the guys. The dynamic shifts and I loved it! If you are looking for your next RH with crazy characters and a crazy storyline that keeps you on your toes, check this out!

another series that I’m adding to my collection.

After how the first book in the series started I shouldn’t have been shocked at any of the content in this one. This is definitely the darkest of all the series I’ve read from this author, which I’m here for. Shayne was left in quite the predicament at the end of Psychos and this book throws us straight back into the drama. The storyline has you going on quite the ride and once again the cliffhanger is brutal. Some of the crazy did feel like it was added for shock factor, but as I read more I realised that I like having those boundaries pushed a little. I’ve enjoyed the character developments in this one, the guys have all gone from being completely deranged to deranged but loveable. And since I love me some psychos this one offers me a harem of them.
Levi, Roman and Marcus have a lot to overcome in this one, not only with their own histories but they have to make up for some crazy recent behaviour. Sheridan Anne Is a one click author for me and this is just another series that I’m adding to my collection.

Heathens
Depraved Sinners, Book 2
By: Sheridan Anne
Narrated by: Kelsey Navarro, Blake Lockheart

Sheridan Anne continues her Depraved Sinners series with another twisted installment. he picks up right where we left off(no, these do not stand alone, so listen to Psychos first!) where Levi and Roman are blaming Shayne for something she didn't do. Hooded figures are unidentified. Wolves are changing loyalties. Marcus is staking a claim and Giovanni continues his twisted reign. The questions are endless as the story progresses and I love that about Anne's writing. She answers one and then gives us three more. This story has twists and turns and complete surprises. I found myself loving Shayne for her undeniable strength and frustrated with her as her forgiveness comes much too easy for me. And the boys, they had me cringing in one ear and loving them in another. It's that kind of story. The one that makes you think, makes you hate, love and need more. Savages is next, and there are so many issues I need answers to. Bring it on!

Kelsey Navarro and Blake Lockheart continue their narration of this dark, twisted story. Navarro is so good at the strong, dark women. She brings out the evilness in Shayne without us feeling like it is part of the personality, and has me loving her! Lockheart has all the men, each with their own voice and matching their personality. And that is a feat as each one is so different. He adds that wickedness into them giving me the love-hate relationship I enjoy as I listen It keeps me interested and wondering. It's a fantastic team and has me waiting for the next one.

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫/5
Narration: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

Heathens is book 2 of the Depraved Sinners series. You cannot read this as a standalone or there would be mass confusion and missing details that are needed to understand what the hell is going on.

STORY: I maaaayyyy have been little impatient and jumped the gun with my questions in my last review...because damn, do we get some answers. While it was a tiny bit predictable on who it was, it still threw me into a doozy. This series is soooo good and it's nice not to see a pushover FMC. I love Shayne for that. Plus, the way she stands up to the big, scary, DeAngelis brothers....she's a Boss B!tch) We do get so much character development, not only from Shayne, but the three Grim Reapers themselves. And that cliffy!!!

Narration: These two Narrators k!lled it! The emotions and WE GET MORE OF THE GUY'S POV(and Blake)in this book. I was so excited. They both make this really come to life!

Definitely hooked and need more!!
