Overcoming sin is one of the first steps toward a changed life. Overcoming shame is often one of the second. And it can take a lifetime to learn to walk in complete victory. Having been raised in an environment surrounded by vice, Tina Royer had no idea how steep the path leading out of the wilderness would be. The chains of addiction and sexual immorality had chased her for her entire life, and the battle didn’t end when she was baptized. In fact, in many ways, the battle was just beginning. Her journey shows us that while it isn’t always easy to hear and trust the voice of God, with His help we can overcome anything.
No fancy review for this one as this book has moved me too much to do anything but write a simple review.
I was hesitant to pick this book up at Womens conference. I was scared because someone might see me and assume I was struggling, which I have been for years. God kept urging me to buy it, and I am so glad I listened to Him.
As Christian’s we don’t hear testimonials like this from women, and how refreshing it is to finally see that coming to light. I cried so many times in this book I don’t think I could count it. Tina Royers testimony is so moving, raw, and honest I felt like I was sitting down with a friend listening to where God has brought them from.
Whether you struggle with any themes in this book because you’re hoping for something to give you hope, this can be it for you as long as you’re honest with yourself and God.
Or maybe you’re a minister or person of God wanting to read this so you can help others who you know are struggling with themes in this book, I highly recommend doing so.
Other all I recommend this book to anyone 18+, what a powerful testimony. ❤️
Wow. I went into this book blind after hearing it recommended by a podcast I follow.
In Restoring Love, Tina opens up her heart and shares her amazing testimony.
If you need encouragement that God can bring you out of whatever struggles you have encountered, this book is for you.
If you are a minister and need a resource to help you see into the life of someone who has been through it, but found Jesus and overcame, this book is for you.
If you deal with any of the themes Tina did in her life’s story, this book is for you.
What a beautiful reminder of God’s overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love.
I picked up this book as a resource for ministry, but in reading it, found that it ended up ministering to me deeply. I’m very grateful to Tina for being brave enough to share her story so that others may find freedom and live in complete restoration! This book is a victory for the Kingdom, a true testament that God has come to make ALL things new. Definitely recommend this read.
My favorite read of 2022 so far! Tina’s story is one of grace and redemption that everyone should read. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or who you are, Jesus loves you and will restore you if you let Him.
