Fantasy with life lessons to be learned. What an awesome series! These books held me in thrall, and kept me going back and over certain pages to the lessons would be imbedded in my brain. How Katherine Genet can write such an entertaining series but with important lessons to be learned I'll never know but I can easily say she is the best! Her books speak to my soul.

The Singing
This entire series has touched my soul. The characters are well drawn and relatable. This series is woven with stories of truth and light. It hurt my heart to have it end. I know this story will continue. It is a novel, a textbook and spiritual primer. Simply beautiful work from an in terribly gifted storyteller.

Awesome Seried
This is a series that I will read over and over again. Although fantasy there is a realness in it that speaks to my soul. A "must read" for anyone on a spiritual path. To know that Katherine is a New Zealanders just makes it better.

Hm. Not much point in reading this unless you've read the previous 3 books - and if you have, you'll probably agree that the first novel in the series was by far the strongest. By book 4, we're tying up loose ends, rounding it off... there wasn't much plot to speak of.
Previously we've seen Morgan go through an existential crisis, faced with the reality of how much pain and suffering souls are out in the world, needing healing, what a desperate state the planet is in. Yet in this book, Morgan wasn't central to the plot, we didn't really journey much through her eyes. And somehow, the answer was to have someone create a webpage about the Grove, as if that would be a cure-all. The despair that she was feeling earlier just didn't feature this time around. This seemed to be a theme in the book - the stakes just weren't there in this one, there were no real crisis points. There were some interesting ideas, such as the Fae Queen banning Clarice from the fey realm for several months, yet everything was smoothed out too easily, too often by dreamwork. It didn't seem to go anywhere, the potential for real drama was lost - we didn't hit the extreme highs or lows that would really push the narrative forward.
For me there were a couple of factual errors and typos that stood out, suggesting that this book didn't get the same level of care and attention as the others. In a few places, it wasn't quite clear who was saying what during conversations, or the same person spoke twice. In terms of magical practice, I was also sceptical that UK characters would have a hummingbird or a raccoon as a spirit animal - they're not native here. Bears, yes, wolves, as they lived here in the past before extinction, but our land - and our gods - don't recognise hummingbirds or raccoons. Even with snake, you have to be careful, we've only got a couple of relatively small, native snakes. As for Wellsford itself - maybe a bit too perfect? We don't really see the social problems that small rural communities face (the lack of actual community being one of them.)
Perhaps I'm being churlish, I've enjoyed the series overall, but I'm definitely left feeling that the final book was nowhere near as gripping as the first, and could have benefitted from stronger editorial input.

I’ve spent the last 8 weeks reading the Wilde Grove series and I can honestly say that few books have impacted me the way these have. I loved the story and the characters but there is also deeper meaning for me within these books. They have been a guide-point for my own spirituality. I will miss the characters and their lives within the Grove and hope the author comes back to them at some point.

the books changed me
The first time I read this set memories from this life and past were in my face. I truly enjoyed the read. This is my second go around with these wonderful books, what a spiritual journey they took me on. I have changed, I have grown, I have cried, I have learned so much by reading this story. I am blessed to have had this experience and thankful that there is more to come soon. Thankful that Katherine did not put her pen away, I love her characters..

I don't know how to express the absolute wonder of reading this. The many winding threads of story come together, woven beautifully into a tapestry I could not look away from. I am in love with this series, these characters, this world and all its meanings for my own life and practice. This book was a delight.

Inspirational
There was absolutely nothing I disliked about this book. The characters were complex and colorful spanning different eras.
The main character, Morghan, was inspiring in her wisdom of healing those that needed her.
The beings in this novel whether in this dimension or not inspired exploration and adventure.
It's the kind of story one doesn't want to end.

If you follow the path as it meanders through the book it awakens your own intuition and it will tick a lot of boxes and confirm what you already knew deep inside we all like a little bit of confirmation now and again Blessed be.

Amazing story with lessons to learn
I have so loved this series and hope Katherine continues with it. It really is like going to Welleville to visit and walk the woods and hug cherished friends. I will reread this series.

Hands down... these 4 books have been a Morghan to me. Im still speechless, enchanted and in a state of blissful gratitude. I dont think I need to say more. Will definitely re-read it all once the messages settle in a little more.

This was so enlightening. I could never quite wrap my head around "shadow work" and what it was and how to do it, but through this story I feel I have a better understanding. So it was a great story and I love all the characters and how they all grew and evolved.

Another amazing book from Katherine Genet, in the 'Wilde Grove' Series. From the first page it is like coming home back to the Grove to meet close friends.
