Laylah loves reading, but she particularly loves a good romance with some seriously alpha men. Protective, possessive men with large hearts. Writing has become her passion and she hopes her readers enjoy her stories as much as she does writing them.
Sanctuary Ranch is a wonderful place,so i’m always happy when Laylah goes back. And since Christmas is a very good occasion for a visit,i jumped at the opportunity to see how everyone was doing. The ARC was a gift i enjoyed very much.
We catch up with Abby and Kent, who have their sweet baby boy,Asher. And with Kent gone for a couple of days,Abby feels she needs to not only keep an constant eye on Asher, but to have everything spotless, too. Until Kent comes home….

After A Little Winter Wonderland,i’m ready for Christmas. Because this was such a sweet story, filled with so much love!
I highly, HIGHLY, recommend A Little Winter Wonderland.
This mini novella (#12.5) in the Montana Daddies series, gave me all the feels while catching up with all three couples. It was full of Christmas vibes, romance, HEAs with a glimpse at married life, babies, engagements and all around feel good vibes.
A really sweet Christmas treat! Christmas time at Sanctuary Ranch is always special and being able to catch up with each one of these couples was awesome!
~ My Thoughts ~ I'm still high off all the gushy mushy feels this read induced! Laylah Roberts has a way with words that always leaves me feeling coddled, safe and satisfied. It was both sweet, heartfelt and had a sprinkle of spice to round it all out!
It did keep me guessing all the way to the end but once the reveal happened, I was smiling like a Little on Christmas day :) and feeling just as happy. This is like an extended epilogue for each couple and having it around Christmas time made it that much more magical.
I love epilogues and this fed all my needy wants! I loved visiting with Abby and Kent (married, starting a fam and still swoony and in love!), Eden and Zeke were also adorable, loved getting to see them start to evolve and grow into a stronger, united front. And then there's Daisy and Jed. These two have come a long way and it was great to see them come full circle 🥰
Heat Level: 4/5

Plot: Kent and Abby are new parents to baby Asher. Abby is struggling. After Asher was born prematurely, she doesn't want to take her eyes off of him, and that means her health is suffering - not enough sleep or food. Kent needs to find a way to help her take care of herself. Daisy isn't taking good care of herself either - she's been eating too much candy and sleeping too little while Jed is gone and now he needs to get her back on track. Zeke knows that Eden is hiding something from him and he's determined to find out what it is.
Commentary: I know that feeling Abby has of not wanting to take your eyes off of your baby, and let's be honest; nobody will ever take care of him as good as you can! I completely understand! But Kent was right to make her stop for a minute and take care of herself, and I love that he also had her slip into Little mode for a while. And Daisy? Her secret: pregnant! and a follow-up: Jed proposes! Eden? she wants her and Zeke to start thinking about having a baby - he starts researching, which is so like him and so sweet I enjoyed catching up with these three couples (even Jed, with whom I am still mad from when he was a jerk way back in his book!)
Grammar/formatting: This author keeps using the phrase "away with the fairies" despite the fact that she uses it at least once (often more) in each book and despite the fact that her books are set in the US and it is a British/commonwealth phrase that nobody here uses. I know that's a small thing but every time I read it, I wonder why an editor hasn't mentioned it to her before. Also, "wee man" or "wee boy" was used five times, and it's not really an American English phrase either. I really don't mind dialect or other languages, but if your characters are American, living in America, and the whole series is American set, then I think the little details add to the authenticity.
I loved this new book by Laylah Roberts. The author lets us catch up with the Littles and their daddies while getting ready for Christmas. Daddies need to be stern and uphold the rules tat have been agreed on. Daddies also need to love on their Littles and help them find their way through tough emotions. It was fun reading about all the ways the Littles try to circumvent their daddies.
I received an advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Laylah Roberts gives us a sneak peek into the lives of some of our favorite Littles and their Daddies at Sanctuary Ranch. Specifically Abby and Kent, Eden and Zeke and Daisy and Jed. I won't give away any spoilers, but I absolutely love these slice of life stories, because these characters are like old friends and this is our way of keeping in touch. The story of Daisy and Jed, one of my absolutely favorite couples (her candy obsession is ON POINT), had me yearning to re-read their story in Daddy's Lost Little. And after a surprising foreshadowing moment in the last chapter, I also re-read Daddy's Angel (sorry, no hints here). Just know that this story will give you all the feels of the season.

4.5 stars. So sweet. So cute. So happy that Laylah puts out these Christmas books to check in with all the people at Sanctuary Ranch. They’re always so fun and sexy. So cheery.
Such a treat. I can’t wait for the next book from this series. Hopefully it’s about the guy she said something about in this. He’s such a sweetheart.
This narrative rotates among three couples who previously appeared in the Montana Daddies series: Kent and Abby, Zeke and Eden, Jed and Daisy. As the author warns, it isn't a standalone: even for those of us who've read the entire series, it's beyond confusing unless you remember every single detail of the original stories -- and I don't.
If you like the series, consensual Age Play with some variety (some couples are more hardcore than others), and all things Christmas-y, you'll probably enjoy this. I really didn't, but because I've liked Laylah Roberts less and less, it could be me. Or it could be that the author churns out so many books that she's gotten increasingly formulaic (well, even more formulaic than this genre usually is); the editing increasingly sloppy (several typos and are there no synonyms for "stuff" that either the author or her editor could have used?); and the characters increasingly interchangeable (with the exception of Eden, who has always been my favorite) -- seeing so many characters together here really emphasizes this last.
All this is too bad because two storylines were potentially interesting since they created organic conflict, growth, and change, yet very little space was given to them; instead, they were smothered by smexy times. In addition, throughout I thought that Daisy should have used her safe word and that Jed was beyond overbearing (I liked him in Daddy's Lost Love; don't know what the author was doing here). And once I think that, a book loses me. This is the first time I've ever had this extreme a reaction to a Laylah Roberts MMC and I devoutly hope it's the last.
2 1/2 stars. I realize that I'm a Grinch. If you like this series, it would be better to read less cranky reviews. It's possible that "Santa" will get the next book.
A wonderful read, my favourite Littles and their Daddies as they celebrate Christmas I do not want to spoil the story in this Christmas special read where many of our favourite Littles and their Daddies have been brought back together. We see how their lives are progressing and how the new baby Asher is doing and his parents Kent and Abby who had endured a rather earlier birth than expected. Then there is Zeke and Eden who seem to be moving in a new direction but it is not without its risks and Zeke is always sure to check all the boxes so that his girl’s health does not suffer in any manner but I will not give anything away about this. And then there is Daisy and Jed and their relationship is also moving in a new direction and there is also s few more surprises but I do not want to spoil the surprise for other readers. I can honestly tell you that you will love every single bit of this book and as always be left looking forward to future books. I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
“A Little Winter Wonderland” is a sweet and sassy Christmas time visit to Sanctuary Ranch, the base for the ‘Montana Daddies’ series by Laylah Roberts. This book features 3 couples in particular. Abby and Kent were originally in “Daddy’s Sweet Girl”, Daisy and Jed were featured in “Daddy’s Lost Love”, and Eden and Zeke got together in “Daring Daddy”.
This is a book best read if you’re familiar with this series. Abby and Kent are adjusting to life with their new baby boy. Abby is super protective of him, so when she gives Eden and Zeke a chance to babysit, they’re very excited. Zeke suspects Eden is hiding something from him. Jed finds out something Daisy has been hiding from him, and it’s important.
There’s plenty of steam and the kink you expect in these stories, both of which the author does very well. What makes the book special though, is that she makes all of her characters so personable. Even in such a short story, the “realness” of each of them shines through. A visit with these couples during the holiday season was fun.

*spoilers* I do not want to reveal too much, but like all the other stories I adore this book. We meet so many people again Kent and sweet Abby and somebody else, Zeke and Eden, Daisy and her dragon daddy etc.. The littles are a bit lost, when their daddies are not there. They think daddy will not know what they did, but somehow they always find out what their little girls are up to... We experience problems like finding yourself as a couple little/daddy when becoming parents. How to ask your partner difficult questions or talk about your wishes for life. And daddy does not like it at all, when his girl talks bad about herself. Engagements, pregnancy and stern and steamy daddies, this book has it all. I loved to hear more about the couples, who touched my heart so much with their stories.

4.0 out of 5 stars Christmas ON THE RANCH Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2021 Verified Purchase This feel good christmas story about the littles and their daddy's from Sanctuary Ranch was just the pick-up I needed. I enjoyed the unique insight and dynamics of how each of the relationships have progressed and strengthened overtime. The story includes the challenges of how a pregnancy can affect self-esteem, littles not taking care of themselves when their daddy's are away working and the difficulties of having a baby when the mother has a disability. Throw into the mix the the excitement of Christmas, overprotective daddy's, wedding proposals, time outs and spankings, all of which made this one entertaining story by this talented author.
The mountain daddies always have an incredible Xmas story. Each daddy goes out of his way to celebrate and make moments memorable for all the littles. I love to catch up with some of my favorite characters from past books.
The littles are mischievous and adorably sweet. I love how they keep their daddies on their toes. They bring joy and the right amount of naughtiness to keep the daddies happy.
I love getting to see the littles grow with the love and happiness they have found with their daddies. It's always lovely to read that they are still being bratty and enjoying their lives. A real treat for the holidays.
No plot spoilers No potential triggers There are some errors but nothing to get irritated about There are some sex scenes including light BDSM and spanking. There is some swearing The characterisation remains true to the books from the series, so you know exactly what to expect from characters you have met before. The plotline is sweet, no deep plots or crazy kidnapping. It would make better sense if you read this book as part of the series and if you are a fan of the genre I have no problem recommending the series
This is a great addition to the Montana Daddy’s series and I loved this story. It features three Montana Daddy’s and their Little’s and their unique relationship. Christmas is close and the Littles are getting ready to write Santa. There are a few surprises that were unexpected and adds to the story. The Littles dialogue is the absolute best and great fun to read. This is an excellent read and I would highly recommend it. I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. Welcome back to Sanctuary Ranch for the holidays. This short book gives us a look into a few of the couples we have come to love. Abby, Eden and Daisy along with their Daddies have some changes in their lives. They bring the joy of the season also with the heat, dicipline, romance and love that is found at the Sanctuary. I really enjoyed this short addition to the Montana Daddies. Laylah creates some of the best DDlg relationships

What a lovely idea, catching up with some of the daddies and their littles at Sanctuary. Abby and Daisy have both been breaking the rules while their daddies were away and need some love and discipline to get back on track and ready for Christmas. Eden has a problem, she wants something but is not sure how to ask. She finally blurts it out and Zeke goes into research mode. There is a secret revealed and a wonderful Christmas gets underway at Sanctuary. A charming Christmas read.
I absolutely loved this book!! We get a dose of our favorite daddies and their baby girls!! I enjoyed reading this. It’s like visiting with your cousins that you hadn’t seen in awhile. We are invested into these characters and to have them in a brand new book was like going home. The same familiarity that hits you with each couple s the best. We get to see the characters a bit down the road from where we last left them. All the angst, unsettling tummy butterflies, patience and adoration that these daddies give their littles is so heartwarming. I love it!!
I love love love these holiday catch ups with some of our favorite Sanctuary Littles. This time we get to catch up with Kent & Abby, Jed & Daisy and Zeke & Eden. Abby is having a hard time adjusting to being a mom. Eden wonders if she would like to have a baby. Daisy is still candy crazy. One couple gets engaged, and is having a baby, and one gets married.
A Little Winter Wonderland by Laylah Roberts is so stinkin’ cute that I think I may have just died.
I absolutely adored this Christmas novella, especially as it flits between couples at sanctuary ranch and brings them all joy, instead of just focusing on one of them. The issues that the littles are having are so relatable that it hurts a little bit, but I loved the resolutions to the issues that they had with their daddies.
A sweet Little Christmas story with daddies trying to do their best for their girls. Laylah always makes me laugh with the reasoning of the ladies when in Little headspace, especially when there are animals involved, talk to Poe about that! A nice short read for the Holiday season.

This was a lovely short story. We got to catch up with Abby and Kent after their big news in the previous book. There was magic, romance, presents, Santa and a big surprise for one of the couple at the Montana ranch!! Loved this novella

Such a cute little catch up with some of our favourite people at Sanctuary Ranch during the Christmas festive period and it's just such a wonderful, warm piece of their life at this time. I just love all the characters.

What a great way to celebrate with old friends from Sanctuary. Jed and Daisy, Abby and Kent, and Eden and Zeke. You
I especially loved seeing Jed and Daisy work through the struggles of the holiday. I think we got to know no e about the guys this time. Funny, great stories and a warm cuddle in our little space.
Absolutely love the Montana Daddies series! This book is full of funny, steamy updates and unexpected surprises on some of the daddy/little couples, Abby and Kent along with baby Asher, Eden and Zeke, and Daisy and Jed. All the littles seem to show the proverbial need for their daddies helping hand to settle them down! I loved every couple segment!
I love this series and always look forward to new additions.
The format of this one was a little different to the others but I love how she incorporated the three different couples and what they are up to right now.
It is exciting to see how they are travelling as it feels like you are catching up with friends.
Meh... I could have done without... It was too packed with too much from too many characters for the length. And sometimes it gets old, the exact same scenes happening in previous stories reused. (this happens in most of this series I'm finding, although overall I still enjoy them as one of the better in the genre.)
I love all the Littles, especially, Xmas and special events. So glad for the surprise wedding of Eden and Zeke, pregnancy announcement of Jed and Daisy. So glad that Littles and their husbands, partners, got pregnant and had babies, in storylines. Especially now, love to see Eden get pregnant, and challenges, she goes thru.
A Little Winter Wonderland by Laylah Roberts was the perfect Christmas read while sitting by the fire with a nice glass of wine. Visiting our Daddies and their Littles was entertaining and warmed my heart. Kudos!
