Cullen Cutler isn’t a fan of Christmas. He’s not a fan of most things. But when the one person he does care about tells him that he is off to Rawhide Ranch for Christmas, well, Cullen reluctantly tags along. Someone has to keep his cousin out of trouble. But he is definitely not going to enjoy himself, or get into the Christmas spirit. Not happening.
Ivy’s favorite time of the year is Christmas. And her temporary job at Rawhide Ranch allows her to indulge that love. She feels at home there, with the Littles and Tops. But she can’t forget this is temporary. Divorced and broke, she has no time for play.
And she definitely doesn’t have time to fall in love. Certainly not with grumpy, bossy, protective Cullen Cutler. Not happening. There’s no Christmas miracle for this Little.
Laylah loves reading, but she particularly loves a good romance with some seriously alpha men. Protective, possessive men with large hearts. Writing has become her passion and she hopes her readers enjoy her stories as much as she does writing them.
Laylah Roberts has the sweetest littles, and her Daddies may seem grumpy sometimes, they’ll do anything for their little girls. So,when she ventured to the Rawhide Ranch for Christmas,i was very happy i got the ARC. What did i feel when i finished reading, you ask? Totally ready for Christmas to arrive, because miracles dó happen!
Cullen and his cousin Marcus are coming to Rawhide Ranch for Christmas. Not because Cullen wants to,but because as Marcus’ caregiver,he does everything in his power to make him a happy little boy. Until he finds his own Daddy,or Mummy, that is…. The first person they meet when they arrive is Ivy,and while Marcus immediately makes her his bestie,Cullen is his usual grumpy self. He hates Christmas, and Ivy is loving it. So,why does she stirr something in him?
Ivy needed somewhere to stay, and getting a job at Rawhide Ranch was a godsend. After her ex wanted a divorce, and left her not only with nothing, but a low self-esteem as well, she needed a place to lick her wounds. Meeting Cullen, and getting his grumpy side, didn’t sit well with her. Because, why was he here when he clearly didn’t want to be? Only, after he saved her from getting hurt a couple of times, she started to see another side of him….one she liked.
Cullen was lucky he had Marcus, that man was so much more social than he could ever hope to be. And at the same time,he felt very protective of him,and made sure he couldn’t get into tóó much trouble when he was in little mode…. Knowing he started to add Ivy to that protective bubble frightened him at first. But once he knew why she needed it,there was no turning back, she was his! Would Ivy let him ,though?
Cullen and Ivy were two damaged souls that were stumbling through life. Functioning, but not happy. Once they found eachother, they could start healing,if they allowed the other in…. As usual,Laylah gently steered them towards eachother, and guided them towards a happy ending that’s in the spirit of Christmas. And i loved every second of it!
So nice to get another story from Laylah. I’m a sucker for her Daddy Dom books.
This was sweet and sexy. I always love the way this author handles any sort of health related things, whether it be mental or physical or both. She always handles them with care and respect and her characters are always shown how to love and care for themselves properly by their partners. It’s extremely heartwarming and satisfying.
I really enjoyed all the healing and growing that happened in this book. Cullen is such a grump, a real grinch, when he meets Ivy. And Ivy, though she’s been so hurt and battered by her ex, is full of love and Christmas cheer.
Seeing her being out Cullen’s Daddy side, his nurturing side, is so sweet.
And Marcus! He’s such a cute brat. Sort of like an older brother to Ivy. It was adorable seeing them all interact.
*sigh* Another hit. I loved this, and, as always when I’ve finished a Laylah Roberts book, I’m already jonesing for more. Im seriously obsessed with this author’s words.
This story was pure joy to read!!! Cullen and Marcus (cousins) are going to Rawhide Ranch. Marcus is a little and Cullen is a bodyguard for his cousin. Ivy has had a rough life and has a job at the Ranch setting up decorations. At first Cullen is gruff and grumbly but there is something about Ivy that is slowly opening his eyes about Christmas. Marcus was so much fun to read and I really hope he gets his own story in the future! Both Cullen and Ivy have issues they need to work through but with him hating Christmas and Ivy loving it, you wonder if they will ever make the relationship work. Seeing characters from previous books was so nice but watching Cullen open up to Ivy and her open up to him was what kept me turning the pages. It was a quick read but it's packed full of emotions!!! This newest Rawhide Ranch book is great and it will be one I read over and over.
A cute story featuring a man who is not very welcoming regarding the holiday season that turns out to be the most prized by the woman he desires. Ivy's focus is on being needed and wanted, and no one, not even the handsome Cullen is going to distract her from her goal. Cullen's own past has not been the most positive, and forced to spend time at a "little" ranch was not first on his list of holiday destinations. But will the atmosphere that surrounds them both lead to a future happiness?
What a beautiful Christmas story. Cullen and Marcus are cousins and Cullen does not like Christmas. Cullen wanted to go to the beach but Marcus wanted to go to Rawhide Ranch for Christmas. Once there Cullen met Ivy. Ivy does have some medical problems and she needs this job because she is homeless and has no money. Her Little side has been surprised for so long she was not sure it would ever show up again. Now you need to read this beautiful love story to see what happens. Enjoy
This is the first time I've read any of this series, but I loved it! Cullen and Ivy make such a cute couple, loved the humor and banter between these to and Cullens cousin Marcus!
Another great addition to the Rawhide Ranch series.
I adored Ivy, she was a very determined and resilient woman living with some pretty debilitating medical issues. But she still managed to be sunny and sassy. She was one of my favorite Rawhide characters.
I loved the comedic moments Marcus brought to this story and that he instantly became Ivy's bff. I'm sure hoping we get his story!
This was the perfect blend of Rawhide, Christmas and DDlg and I absolutely adored the Grumpy/Sunshine angle between Cullen and Ivy. Too cute!
Laylah can do no wrong in my opinion. I love every single one of her books and am always anxiously awaiting the next!
Dec 2022 review: This was adorable.
Cullen is a total grump who hates Christmas. The only reason he’s at the ranch is for his little cousin Marcus. Ivy loves everything about Christmas. She only wishes she had loved ones to spend it with.
I loved this! Ivy is such a sweetheart. She deserves every bit of Cullen’s overprotectiveness and love. And Cullen deserves the happiness and joy she brings into his life. They’re truly perfect for each other.
I adored the friendship between Marcus and Ivy ❤️ He is such a hoot!
This was sooooo much better than I expected!!! 📚Even though 11chapters, it’s not a short read📚 The characters are sweet, the Gnomes were fantastic 😁 (the DD/lg is kinda new to me, so “Tops” is new, and 1st time reading a male was a “little”- interesting & he was a Brat...lol) Cute, I liked it💙 🎄🎄💚🎄🎄

» a demandé Cullen.
The story is another excellent addition to the Rawhide Ranch series, where each story will read well as a stand-alone. The story is an emotional roller coaster ride—with hurt feelings, a painful past, and plenty of new experiences and laughing-out-loud moments. Ivy has been given a temporary position decorating and making Christmas memorable for the Littles at Rawhide Ranch. Cullen and Marcus, cousins, are there for the Christmas holiday, but each has different feelings about celebrating Christmas. Marcus wants to embrace the spirit of Christmas and allow his Little to celebrate, and Cullen hates Christmas and just wants it all to end.
The story’s plot will have clashes between Ivy and Cullen—both are hiding who they are. Ivy loves Christmas; well, she loves holidays and is excited to be at Rawhide and make it memorable for the Littles. The only problem, while she is talented with what she is doing, she has suppressed her Little self for so long that she denies she is Little. Cullen has his secrets and reasons why he hates Christmas, and it goes back to his childhood. Marcus is just thrilled to be at Rawhide and allowed to be the Little he is for the holidays.
The chemistry between Ivy and Cullen is someone volatile at first, she is cheerful, and he is grumpy. Cullen discovers that Ivy isn’t taking care of herself, and he steps in and fusses at her. The truth is, Cullen is a Daddy Dom without a Little, and Ivy is a lost Little needing a Daddy Dom. But what will it take for these two to admit to the truth and embrace finding each other? Ivy: You’re not the boss of me. You’re both very lucky to have each other. I’d give anything to have a family.
I loved how Cullen realizes he has feelings for Ivy and wants to be the Daddy Dom she needs, but for how long. Ivy’s Little needs to be free, and Cullen pushes those buttons. When the truth about the past, the hurt that each has suffered, is revealed, will they be able to heal and move forward? Will Rawhide Ranch once again bring people together during the magical holiday season? Best of all, money and power can pay back someone who has hurt Ivy and shows her that she matters to him, to them. The story has a fantastic coveted, ‘Happily Ever After” ending.
This book takes place on Rawhide Ranch, a sanctuary/destination vacation place for Littles. Although characters from other books in the series appear, they don't have major roles so this works as a standalone. Here we get down-on-her luck Ivy, hired as part-time help over Xmas, and Cullen, the multi-millionaire unwillingly dragged to the ranch by his more fun-loving cousin. Grumpy meets Sunshine, Xmas Elf meets the Grinch, and, well, I think you can guess the rest.
If you're looking for a consensual, fairly mild Age Play romance between two likable people who achieve growth, you will like this. As usual, the author's banter, strong secondary characters (cousin Marcus is a rare physicist Little), and warmth make her books enjoyable.
That said, while I did find the dialogue funny, it overwhelmed other aspects of the book. I can't, for example, tell you what any of the characters look like, how the Xmas party was decorated, or how the ranch is laid out. There were also several inconsistencies (or maybe early-30s is the new middle-age? Who knew?). In addition, as usual, Ms. Roberts employs the very old, very tired vicious exes as plot devices and, really, is there any trope more hackneyed or unbelievable than that (or perhaps New Zealand has no community property?)? And her signature Job-like damsels-in-distress have now become rote. I get the Cinderella appeal, but does it have to be this pronounced?
3 1/2 stars. The book is entertaining and I do recommend it if you're in the mood for holiday reading.
This book was incredibly good !!!!!! The guy in this book puts Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey to absolute shame.
First there is a trigger in this book for those who suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis. There is a woman in this story who had Rheumatoid Arthritis. This story takes place at the Rawhide Ranch. This is about a young woman named Ivy. Her favorite time of year is Christmas 🎄. She has a temporary job at Rawhide Ranch that allows her to indulge in her love for Christmas. Then you meet a guy named Cullen Cutler who absolutely hates Christmas. He goes to Rawhide Ranch to look after his cousin Marcus who is a Little. Ivy is broken-hearted because she had a terrible husband. Ivy meets Cullen and he is a grouch in every way. When he meets Ivy his Daddy Dom takes front and center. He is very protective and loving to Ivy as well as Marcus. Marcus is a Little and something of a brat. Ivy was down on herself in this book but Cullen shows her that she is worthy of love and being cared for. I loved Cullen, Ivy and Marcus in this story. This was a fun read.
Cullen Cutler is grumpy and hates Christmas, and that is until he meets a beautiful elve that loves everything Christmas. Ivy is having so much fun decorating for the littles at the ranch, and she wants them to have a memorable holiday.
Cullen and his cousin Marcus are going to spend Christmas at Rawhide Ranch. Marcus is a little, and Cullen is very protective of him. Marcus and Ivy have an instant connection, and they become quick friends. They also get in trouble together. Something that frustrates and excites Cullen because he gets more time with Ivy.
Cullen realizes that deep down, he is a Daddy Dom. His need to protect and care for Ivy excites him. I love the way their friendship grows into something more. Ivy helps Cullen find himself, and she makes him see that there is so much love in his heart that he needs to let go of the past.
Author Laylah Roberts has created a magical Christmas treat and this story with make you smile all day. A true gem.
A Cozy Little Christmas by Laylah Roberts, is a delightful age-play romance situated at the Rawhide Ranch. In this book, Ms. Roberts introduces readers to two dynamic lead characters—Ivy and Cullen. She is a LG trying to put her life back together after a devasting marriage. She seeks a seasonal job at Rawhide’s Ranch. This is where she meets Cullen, a successful businessman with a Type-A personality. Cullen is an alpha and takes care of his cousin, Marcus. Marcus is a genius and a Little. Cullen and Ivy are attracted to each other. Will they get together? What role will Marcus play? To find out, you must read this book.
Ms. Roberts penned a charming age play, romantic suspense story. Her characters are complex and multi-layered. I enjoyed how Ms. Roberts builds tension in the plot as readers watch her main characters face their inner demons. I also appreciate Ms. Robert's skill with literary devices such as dialog, point of view, and descriptive language positively contributed to the flow and pacing of her plot. All these elements contribute to making this story credible. If you enjoy HEA then you should get this book. Happy Reading.
I absolutely loved this story about Ivy and Cullen. Ivy absolutely loves Christmas and she has been employed at the Rawhide ranch as a decorator for Christmas when she meets Marcus and Cullen she becomes best friends with Marcus but she is anxious about Mr grumpy as she has started to call Cullen. Cullen hates Christmas for some reason, but Ivy soon has him changing his attitude and they are drawn to each other to the point where Ivy’s Little side has started to come out and Cullen starts showing his Daddy Dom side, which suits the two of them just fine. They have a happily ever after as a family.
I am voluntarily leaving my review for this book and this is my honest and fair opinion.
Marcus always wanted to spend time & the Rawhide Ranch especially at Christmas so that’s what he planned. His cousin Cullen known as Mr. Grumpy face was not as happy about the destination; he would of been much more happier with a drink and a beach to waste the day away. This Christmas Marcus will be attending little School & Cullen would stay out of the way, working unless he was taking & picking Marcus up from class. Then Came Ivy who they met at checkin and Cullen couldn’t get her off of his mind. You will laugh & cry. You’ll have to read & come on this journey with some familiar friends to see if Christmas Magic happens for Cullen & Ivy.
I thoroughly LOVED this book, it was incredible!! This is an exceptional series that I highly recommend reading. Ivy is such an amazing character, she truly embodies Christmas spirit. I loved reading her and Cullen dynamics and chemistry. He is a Mr Grump, with a protective heart. This book was so well-written and I loved watching the characters find their true selves with each other as the story came to life off the pages. The spice is amazing! His cousin Marcus is hilarious and an adorable brat. This book is a definite must read with a guaranteed HEA!
Cullen is not so happily going to the ranch for Christmas. His cousin Marcus is a Little and under his care. Cullen does not like anything Christmas but for Marcus, he'll do anything.
Ivy is all Christmas! Her precious army of gnomes, her amazing headbands....she's just the best. But she's A little lost. Hiding her Little side because of her ex, but at least she's working at the ranch.
I absolutely loved how Ivy, unbeknownst to even herself, starts chipping at Cullen's walls. And Marcus...I adore him (I'd love for him to get his own book)!
I had a hard time putting this down. I liked the characters and especially how Cullen changed to take care of Ivy. The twist of Ivy's health issues made the story have more feeling. It did seem like the last couple of chapters were rushed and overly cheesy and I knew Cullen would find someway to make sure Davis got his comeuppance, it was unsatisfying and rushed. So the last couple of chapters, even with some really sweet moments, brought this down by at least one star for me. Marcus was a delight though.
Honestly the way you can relate and imagine this character is so real: their insecurities, their fears, pain and past but also personal growth 💗 I loved the story scheme: a daddy Dom with a platonic little boy and a romance with a little girl. This story is about family, respect, courage and being open minded but also with your body and soul. I think there's nothing more beautiful than people who come together to love each other every inch of their body, their character and their hopes and dream.
I love how these books have people with disabilities. Not everyone is a perfect size 0 and model good looks. They are real people with real problems. Ivy has had it pretty rough and doesn’t see any light in the long tunnel ahead of her. Cullen has had a pretty crappy life, even though he is filthy rich and handsome as sin. The 2 are a very unlikely couple, but make each other perfectly happy. Throw in Marcus, and you have a happy Little family. Great book with a feel good ending.
Another fantastic read from Laylah! I loved the banter between Cullen and Marcus. They had me laughing and you could just picture being there. Ivy was a wonderful character, so believable. Ivy was just what Cullen needed to bring out his best! I wish that we all could find a Cullen and Marcus to invite into our lives! Thank you Laylah for another book that I couldn’t put down until it was finished!!
Plan on falling in love with this trio of characters. Marcus, a genius who is a Little and his caregiver/cousin, Cullen, a gruff man who hates Christmas. Enter Ivy, a woman who you'd want as a bestie. Flawed, someone whose self esteem had been stripped away, dealing with a crippling illness yet who holds the spirit of the holidays in her heart. You can guess what happens but the true genius of this book is the gifted storytelling of Laylah Roberts.
Ivy was at the Ranch working through Christmas. Marcus was visiting with his cousin for the holidays. Marcus was a Little and so was Ivy but she didn’t know it yet. Marcus immediately declared her his bestie. His cousin, however, hated Christmas and only came with him to take care of Marcus. He didn’t want a Little, didn’t want to celebrate and he certainly did not want to fall in love. Santa had other ideas. I love these books! Another great story.
This book is classic Laylah Roberts. It is a wonderfully grumpy MMC and a delightfully sweet MFC. You fall in love with them both. Also, in usually Laylah style she has a side character that must have their own book. It is full of erotic humor, Little time, and holiday spirit. I also appreciate the research that Laylah does when her characters have medical conditions but it doesn't stop them from living their life. This will be one of my holiday favorites.
Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I loved Ivy and how sweet and strong she was. I loved how much she put into Christmas and wanted the littles to love everything. I loved that Cullen took care of Marcus but I am so glad he found something in Ivy. Reading about Ivy letting her little out and Cullen admitting to being a Daddy Dom had me from the beginning. I also loved Marcus he was so much fun and I hope to read more about him.
I really enjoyed this read, I like all of Laylah Roberts books mostly the ones that include some form of visible or invisible disability. A lot of bdsm ddlg or even ddlb books always seem to have both the little and the daddy be these perfect beings when in real life it's not like that and by having some aspects of real life difficulties in her books, to me makes them more relatable.
Christmas hater Cullen goes to Rawhide ranch with his cousin Marcus. He would rather be on a beach somewhere drinking himself stupid but he believes he has to watch out for his cousin. He meets Christmas loving Ivy and feels something for her right from the start. He doesn't believe he is a daddy and Ivy has suppressed her little for so long how could it e er work out.
