Kenzie and Jarrett Holliday have had their share of partners in their relationship as a polyamorous couple. Though some have come and gone, and others remain close friends, they’ve never encountered the genuine connection they were looking for — a partner for them both, in every sense of the word.
Until they meet Ripley.
Ripley’s a ray of sunshine, bringing the joy to their lives they’ve always sought.
When a hurricane threatens their hometown, tensions rise, as does Ripley's mounting dread. The pair endeavor to alleviate her fears, but have their own concerns over their businesses, friends, and the town of Bijou Basin itself.
Could stress and fear be what pulls the trio apart?
Or will they be able to prove that they’ll be her shelter in the storm?
Koriana Brackson grew up surrounded by orange groves in Central Florida, calling Walt Disney World her personal playground. As former cast member and an amateur photographer, she couldn't resist combining two of her interests, and her experiences weave through her stories.
Now she makes her home in a quiet small town in Western North Carolina with her Husband. An avid reader all of her life, Koriana was thrilled, and a bit shocked, to publish her debut novel in April 2020 and is looking forward to continuing the series in the coming months.
The kinks keep getting kinkier. Throw in a hurricane to stir things up, and emotions run raw. Lots of extended character development, including a long history dump. But it's all good, and sexy too. The triad gets it's HEA. One of the best FFM stories I've read.
Note: the author indicates that there will be another book, but she has disappeared.
Note 2: the sex scenes, sizzling, become a bit repetitive.
There is so much intimate detail in this truly lovely romance, I found it deeply compelling. The series builds in more information about sexual needs and ways of satisfying them as we move from book to book. The bdsm aspect is dealt with in a sensitive manner, too. It’s also genuinely informative. Sometimes the writing style becomes a little starchy or formal but the story-telling rolls along beautifully. I loved our main characters and am looking forward to the next in the series!
Enjoyable to be with Kenzie, Jarrett, and Ripley for the final minutes of a crappy 2021. Getting this book out was one of few highlights. Here's to hoping my next book (not of the Bijou Basin series) doesn't take quite as long!
This one was better than #2 and Jarret was more involved. I liked that the story line was a bit deeper. What’s up with the cover though? None of those people look like the MCs or the two women on the front of 2.
WOW! This is a great series. When I got to the last page I closed my eyes and wished for another book, and I was not disappointed. Can't wait for book 4 to come out. This might just be a series that I buy so I can read it again in the near future.
