Is she a pretty spy, or a seductive assassin who’ll murder him in his bed?
With nothing to show for his efforts to find Men of Earth—which will win him New City for his people—Mayhem switches tactics. He holds pair auctions, confident the enemy will jump at the chance to slip a spy in among the throng of hopefuls. It’s a sound strategy, but he’s bored as hell. He’s a hunter, doesn’t wait for prey to come to him. Then he spots a supple, grey-eyed woman in the latest batch of eager females. When their eyes meet, every hunting instinct in his body goes on alert.
Caught killing one of the Men of Earth for assaulting an innocent girl, Reagan is given a desperate mission. Sell herself to a Beast, and embed as a spy. In exchange, her fellow circus performers—including the man who raised her—will go free. Fail, and they will die.
Mayhem’s mouth waters at the prospect of playing cat and mouse with his pretty prey. But with every taste of her earthy delights, this little sprite is becoming something completely new to him—irresistible. Has he found his mate? Or is he in danger of falling for the oldest tactic in the book?

I'm really enjoying this series and was looking forward to Mayhem's book but I have to say I wish these books were longer. Reagan has been held by the Men of Earth but after killing one of them she's given an almost impossible mission spy on the Beasts from the inside and report back. Reagan is then taken to an auction where she meets Mayhem and Mayhem knows instantly she's the spy. This was the funniest of the books so far and I loved Mayhem. He's spent years getting ready for his mate to the extent he's even ordered clothes for her. Yes he's that confident she'll look a certain way that he's ordered clothes and it's hilarious when he becomes the only Beast to not recognise his mate, while this is down to him muting his mating instinct it's still funny.
With my mating instinct muted in the background, my hunting instinct rode me harder than necessary because I really wanted New City for my future mate and me and for my people.
'The only good thing that came from these auctions was a stockpile of human females. Not that they’d serve me anyway, but they’d serve my males. I’d rather put my dick into a chastity contraption than dip it into a pussy that wasn’t my mate’s. My dick was pure so it could be worshiped. When I collared my mate, she would worship my dick and me. No stray pussy for me. Yes, yes, I was a one-hundred-and-fifty-year-old virgin.
Okay before you start to feel too sorry for poor Mayhem, Reagan is told this:
“I’d bang him if he wasn’t into anal.” "What?” I squealed. "Anal, you know. Ass sex. He don’t do pussy. Told me so himself."
But Mayhem insists:
“And I was a virgin.” I leaned to the side so I could hear him better. “Can you repeat that? My brain is stuck. Did you say you were a virgin?” "You deflowered me that night in our home.” I held on to the horse’s mane so I wouldn’t fall off. He didn’t seem to be joking. “Oh my God, you’re serious!” "Shhh. We’re in the middle of a hunt. Let’s not wake up the dead around here.” “You weren’t a virgin. You like anal sex.” "My dick met only your pussy. I was a virgin. The end.” "That’s ridiculous.” "I stand offended that my mate would think I was not.”
So it's funny and not just because Mayhem used "deflowered" to describe himself.
Like I said this is the funniest book so far we also get a better picture of life before earth and I must admit I'm really enjoying this series and I'm looking forward to the next one.
I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by the author via a friend.
Reagan the human and Mayhem the beast. The world building and character depth was much improved in this book than the first two I read. I didn't read the previous book, but it didn't hurt the story for me. Mayhem is determined to stay a 'virgin' until he finds his mate. But when he meets her he doesn't recognize her until it's almost too late. Their 'relationship?' is complicated... well he paid $20 for her, and she is supposed to kill him, and he lusts after her but won't touch her... so yeah... complicated. Despite all the people working at crossed purposes in the story, I found it only mildly angsty. I liked both MCs and found their romance sweet if a bit twisted.
I would read this author again but not this series I think. Not cause I didn't enjoy the book, but I was really grossed out by the cannibalism. I mean would you kiss a guy who just ate a person, even if the person was scum? Gotta say, it made my skin crawl, but then I don't read much horror. I thought in the early books, that it was just the humans making up stories about the scary aliens, and the aliens perpetuating the myth cause they found it funny. Silly me. For those who want to know for sure about it
ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review...
I really enjoyed this one, short though it was. Unlike the other Beasts, Mayhem didn't immediately recognize Reagan as his mate because he had suppressed his mating instinct--something he does when he's on the hunt and taking his duties seriously. It made for an interesting (and humorous) introduction and moment of realization.
I loved Mayhem. He was all Beast. "I'm gonna fuck you like I bought you and treat you like I didn't. Say yes, Master." Yummy, right?
And Reagan cracked me up. The way she'd roll with the punches earned the respect of those around her, and I enjoyed reading about a heroine that wasn't classically girly. "I am his mate. He lives for me, so I'm feeling pretty important here. Next time you , I will carve a piece of meat from your left thigh and make you eat it." I loved her spunk.
It was a fun read, but it was super short. I do wish Ms. Jacks would consider making them longer. I loved, loved, loved that we got more insight into the Beast's home world in this one though. More of that, please :)))
First let me say that I am really enjoying this series and I feel each book gets better. Mayhem and Reagan are definitely my favorite couple so far. Mayhem is a total beast, I love the kilts with no shirts and the long hair with braids. His tribe is definitely different from the Alpha Beasts men. It was fun watching him obsess over Reagan without knowing she is his mate. Reagan was great, she was in a tough situation and made decisions to help those she cared about, but I liked how Mayhem forgave her and I loved how she embraced being his mate. My only complaint is that I wish the stories were longer. I know the author states at the end that she's trying to add more info and I totally encourage her to expand the stories, give us more because her writing is really good and this world is enjoyable. I can't wait for more in this series.
Ok, this book took me from being addicted to completely obsessed with this damn series. I. Love. It.
I finished this book a few days ago, but wanted to write the best review for it....honestly I just loved it and will pretty much be gushing about Mayhem the Barbarian.....Mine, double dibbing this one. His personality is f*cking priceless, you can't help but like him. He's a 150 yr old virgin, saving himself for his mate. He's so brutally honest that I found him utterly charming because of it. His directness was refreshing and humorous all in one. He does live up to his name, which I also appreciate. Before he realizes Reagan is his mate, he refers to her as "mouse", which just flat out cracks me up. So, this was one of the many highlights I made in the book, one of my favorites. “I swear God sent him to Earth to repopulate us with beautiful creatures.” I snorted. “I’m pretty sure he knows that." "He does. I told him so." I will be re-reading this book again and again. Just loved it.
Well, I believe that this series has gotten better as it is going on! Many times by book 3 I'm done. But Milana is opening up these books and this is the best one yet! Time to download #4. Gotta go read more...
This one was just full of holes and issues. Okay, first, what's with these hunters suppressing their mate radar? That's just plum stupid. So they take a hunters mate and she gets banged by half the crew while her mate watches then when he finally let's it come to the surface, we have a guy ready to kill all his brothers. They all live to find their mates, yet they bury the ability to find them? And they take all kinds of women to treat like tramps that could very well be another beasts mate? Nope, none of this makes a bit of sense to me at all. Then separating and spy and her mate for their own good? Again, stupid. The problem is when a mate doesn't know they have a killer spy in their bed. Nothing was mentioned aboutl rehabilitating these women. I guess they just kills the mates, then they get to also kill the beasts that were mated to them. Yep, more nonsensical b.s.. Her not telling him what was going on and sucking him on the bad guys as soon as Maurice ordered the killing was just stupid. Obviously, they had no intention of honoring any deal made. So yeah, let's keep doing what he says instead of sending in a crew that could rescue the girls. Just so much wrong here. Add to that characters that are just so two dimensional. The females never stand out as unique in anyway except for Vices mate. The story rest got no personality.
Great - two beings with competing missions/tasks that made it difficult for them to look in between or see straight. Believing in different agendas they think they have to follow their fight lead them to an HEA. Its a thrilling captivating read and I loved that the fun and humour returned and what’s more, the LOLs and winking was on the costs of Mayhem. No worries, he's so cute and lovable in his inner dialogue and he definitely has the wide shoulders and muscles to keep the mockery and fun loose even when he's grown up without humor himself. It was great the author opened the world a bit more, gives more backgrounds and history and build an interesting world.

Update 2nd read:
Did I say I love this series? I love the Beast Series especially the two book with Vice and Mayhem story - it’s awesome and so funny and an super entertaining point is definitely a male virgin. Sent Beast Mate have it all, emotions, thrill, a bit horror and so much fun - sweet little piece of art.
I do NOT consider these to be stand-alone reads, as there are reoccurring characters and overarching themes. I HIGHLY recommend these be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers.
Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy adult intimate scenes (BDSM scenes with dominance, submission, restraints, breath play, deprivation , etc.) and violence (kidnapping, abduction, torture, rape, murder, assault, betrayal, genocide, cannibalism, human trafficking, enslavement, etc.)
⛔️ If you have not read the previous stories, the following will contain spoilers.
There are grammatical issues throughout, mainly misspellings, typos, and incorrect, missing, and extra words. I am trying to make sure I mention these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as errors interrupt the flow.
I waffled on the rating between 4 and 5 stars. At the end of the day, I just couldn’t go with 5 stars because of a couple of scenes involving the Beasts eating “the bad” humans and the lack of reaction by Reagan and others. I understand why Milana Jacks included the scenes, but the supposed fiery heroine didn’t demand anything other than not to be served any more.
Mayhem the Barbarian was introduced in a previous story. He is the last of his line and is the Alpha of his own Horde. Mayhem and his Horde used to prosper as farmers before Jamie’s, the Alpha Beast, father killed Mayhem’s father for their property. After that they became hunted nomads and came to earth with the assistance of Jamie.
Mayhem was made an offer by Jamie. If he brings him some “Men of Earth” members he will give him New City to inhabit and control. Mayhem has decided one tactic is to hold auctions where human women can be purchased as they are sure that the Men of Earth will try to imbed someone to kill him after they went after Jamie’s mate and unborn beasties.
The one thing Mayhem is positive of is that he will not find his mate at one of the auctions. He hates the things but his Horde needs females and he makes sure that they are treated right. Mayhem attends them because he has to so he can identify the female sent for him. At their latest auction, he has to deal with a man selling an abused female. Then there she is …
Reagan is an acrobat with the Circus owed by her “father figure” Mike. He raised her after she was abandoned years ago by her biological father. Now they are her family. They are set up in New Mexico when two men came for supposed help, but ended up killing over half of her family, using the females, and holding Mike captive. Reagan has been doing all she can to protect one of the younger girls, but she knows it is only a matter of time. Then that time arrives.
Reagan tries to fight him off and ends up killing him, but the other one catches her before the two of them can escape. Because she has demonstrated her ability to kill, he offers her a deal. Infiltrate Mayhem’s Horde and gather information. If successful her family will be safe. Of course she is scared, but Reagan is doing everything she can to make sure she is purchased. Then Mayhem himself shows a reaction to her, so no one else bids on her. Then everyone is shocked with Mayhem himself places a bid … for $20
THIS WAS AN IMPROVEMENT FROM SOME OF THE BOOKS I HAVE READ FROM THIS AUTHOR, I'M GLAD THAT I DIDN'T GIVE UP.
MAYHEM was an alpha royal in his own right, a descendant from a royal tribe but somehow ended up in Jamie's territory. From what I could gather, he's not exactly at the top position but was getting there. You would already know about the Men of Earth and their continuous plot to kill the Alpha Beasts and this time Mayhem was the target. Dense as he was, Mayhem recognised his mate in Reagan but couldn't figure it out yet. He showed signs of mating - possessiveness, protectiveness and you name it. Mayhem was cute, in a growly alpha way and he bumbled along the way. While he was a pussy virgin, he was no anal virgin. It was cute how he dedicated he was to a mate he never found before he met Reagan, judging by the amount of thought he put into making sure his mate had everything she could ever want, even his virginity.
REAGAN was blackmailed to kill Mayhem but she was never prepared for him. All bossy and hot as fuck, it was hard-pressed for her to resist him. Frankly, Mayhem didn't even need to try. Having been abandoned from young, Reagan held a fear of being left alone and it was hard to rely on anyone else. When Mayhem starts worming his way under her skin & heart, the fear began to take root on whether he would be staying around. Little does he know, when a Beast finds his mate, he'll never let her go.
OVERALL it was a cute, passionate smutty read. It wasn't intense in plot or world building but I liked it just fine as it took the stress of the day away.
This book was just okay and I didn’t like the story. We didn’t get time to become familiar with the characters because it was so brief. Mayhem is the leader and trying to secure a city for his own people. He has to find Hanna, who is the sister of Jaime’s mate. The lead female, Reagan, is an aerialist in a circus that has been taken over by the villains. Reagan kills one of the villains but gets caught and is forced into being a spy for the villains otherwise they will hurt Hanna. It’s going good but then several chapters later, the storyline splits into two but the author doesn’t show us the how for the divergence. The story becomes choppy, just about the lead couple chasing the lead villain, and it lost my interest. I finished but disappointed.
I thought he really hadn't been with anyone before, and I always thought it should be that way in fated mate type books since they know for sure one person is meant for them. The way he has been with people is even more intimate. He said he wasn't with his harem, but was he in that way?
I didn't like what happened with Mike.
The Sienna stuff was confusing.
So much seemed disjointed and off.
The story is okay, but I think it could have been done better. Getting Hanna back was not even really "shown". I just liked the first two books better, and why are they eating people? They mage with humans but also eat them? It's gross and doesn't make sense.
Another good installment in this sci-fi paranormal romance series. Reagan is much more gullible, and a couple of times even outright dumb, than I would have thought. But she has a good heart, and tries to do what she thinks is right, even though that concept kind of changes with the wind. Mayhem is not at all what one would anticipate; and he is way more enamored of Reagan right from the start than anyone would expect, especially him. I was really happy with how things ended up for them, although I did feel that the ending was a bit rushed and didn't really cover as much as it could have.
Dystopian Earth🌍 after the Alien Beasts👹 Take Over.
Reagan💃💋 is a young woman who is with a traveling circus after her mother abandoned her at a ticket booth when she was five. She is taken in by a kindly man who becomes her father and she learns to be a circus performer.
Along comes human men known as Men Of Earth, but they are basically a gang of thugs. The Men kill all the males in the circus and imprison the breeding age females. She is then taken to an auction to be offered up to The Beasts👹 .
The Beasts👹 own Earth🌍 now and they have bought up all the women💃 they can find. Their true goal is for each of them to find a true mate, but the humans think they just want harems of submissive women to serve them.
The Beasts👹 also eat humans at times. They are shape shifters of a sort! They shift from a ripped💪 male humanoid form to a wolf🐺 like head with huge fangs and have claws and inhuman speed.
The leader of the Beasts👹on 🌎Earth is Mayhem👹🍆🌋, a Hunter Beast. He buys Reagan💃💋 thinking she will be his prey, but instead he finally realises she is his One True Mate👰, an idea he cannot come to grips with because it is so rare.
Mayhem👹🍆🌋✋ is a binder and a spankster, he's just an all around baaaad naaasssty Beast👹🍆🌋✋!
Interesting book. It's like all males are beasts and women are caught in the middle.
The books just keep getting better! I loved everything about this one! The story is full of intrigue, action and emotional drama. I hoped that Raegan would kill Maurice before the auction even happened. I love how she was willing to compromise her own integrity to save her found family. Mayhem is delicious, his personality is joyous and he is relentless and subtly sneaky. I love the smoothness of the story, how the whole thing just effortlessly unfolded and still foreshadowed future story growth angles.
Very cool book, it was funny very funny and sometimes the comments just blew off my mind. The only thing that I didn't like it was a piece man that pretty selfish well Mayhem was selfish to me. Anyhow. Lol I like the year describing your characters much more. You're being specific of how they look and help us see an imagine the people you're talking about. I enjoyed the book very much and I'm going to continue reading the next one. Keep getting better the story it's good and funny and a lot of action.🥰🥰🥰🥰😜🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I’m liking this world of alpha beasts. I’m not entirely sure what makes them different than humans but I’m all for alpha males. Reagan is one of my favorite females. My only complaint about this book is that some of the finer details are glossed over toward the end. It’s not enough to hinder the story because you still get the big picture but I wish there was a bit more. Which is weird coming from me because I’m big on less is more in writing.
Didnt like it. From Mayhem to his mouse this wasnt a book for me. He was cruel, she was a bit of an idiot. And together they just made the perfect couple. I dont care if they had a back story cause all in all except for the fact that it made them feel connected because there were both homeless or nomads it did nothing else. I hate the whole you dont know it now but when I try it on you, you will like it. Maybe he will like it too. Too much of a caveman for me.
A nomad alien is Keeper of Earth, charged with finding the terrorist Men Of Earth.
Mayhem is Alpha of his nomad tribe, they were brought to Earth by the alien Alpha, Jamie. Now Jamie's second has a mate and her sister Hanna is missing, feared to have been stolen by the Men of Earth, as part of their harem. Jamie wants Mayhem and his hunters to find the Men of Earth, and save Hanna for Vise's mate.
I think the Barbarian is my favorite so far. I absolutely love when the Alpha is crazy but loves so hard it hurts. Reagan was such a badass. I love a strong female character. This book was funny, sweet, sexy, and sometimes a little sad. When one story can give you all those feels, I'm in. Looking forward to what is next. A New one click author!
Wow, this series only gets better and better as it goes on? Ms. Jacks, is a talented and creative writer. The characters are strong, powerful, sexy, and their mates are just as powerful as them. A very good series that will not disappoint in any way and keep them coming.
Mayhem just became my favorite beast! This was so awesome in how it not only got more indepth with his losses of his past but why he worked so hard at the future. Reagan was the perfect mate for Mayhem and can relate in my ways that only she can. Had me turning the pages eager to see what the next held.
Reagan was used to infiltrate Mayhem's Court through the auction as she was supposed to get close and then poison him, but she falls in love when Mayhem realises she's the mate for him. I give this book 4 cups of steaming java, ☕☕☕☕. Good story from start to end.
I've Loved this series ever since I started reading it 😃. It's got everything you could ever want in an alien taking over Earth story 😄. Lots of action, intense situations, nasty bad guys and amazing characters 😉. Thanks again Milana, you're truly an Awesome writer and I look forward to reading more 🤓.
I enjoyed this book as it gave more background to the characters and situations. I was confused when the rescue of a certain character was reduced to a sentence! Notice, no spoiler as no name given. I felt like I skipped a whole chapter and re read it twice. Nope one sentence only. Not fair to an invested reader.
Well, this group of Beasts remind me Of Spartans. They are looking for a home. They wandered the deserts if their home planet for decades. Jamie brought Mayhem and his Tribe to Earth. Mayhem is searching for his mate. She was a Circus Performer. The Men of Earth raided her Circus, killed a lot of people. She is sold to Mayhem. Very good!!! Loved it
I really like this series, but I was so happy to see more in Sent Beast Mate. I hope that's a new trend for the author. As for Mayhem and his mouse, I was on tented hooks to see how it all played out. Loved it.
