I love this series, but feel so bad for Lena.I can only image what she is going through with the mess her dead husband has created and she can't find out anything because he has setup everything without her name on it. She is about to loose her house & everything else so her parents & her daughter want her to move back home so the can help her, if her & her daughter can get along. She picks a fight with her daughter before she even gets home from the airport over her parents needing a new car. Is this how it is going to be? Her daughter has put her in the family inn by herself and her daughter is living with her grandparents as she has always done because she is taking care of them because they aren't doing well. It will be interesting to see how they get along & how they're able to help Lena get things straightened out. It's not looking too good right now. Hopefully we will get better news in the next book than we were left with at the end of this one!

I was given this book for free, but I have given an honest review of this book to the best of my knowledge. Grace has really outdone herself this time. She has put a lot of time & thought into this book. I know you are going to love this Christmas series as much as I do. Enjoy!

The saga continues with Lena reuniting with her daughter and parents after a 3 year gap. The foreclosure of her home, under mysterious circumstances, is much on Lena’s mind but she is loving the familiarity of helping her parents run their business. A guest, who finally appears after a 12 hour delay and as Lena suspects (but doesn’t recognise), is a well known person in the music world. Wonder what is going to happen next? Bring on the next book!

I feel that this series, so far, is much better than previous ones with more descriptive writing and more depth to the main character. Hoping we get to know more how Lena’s daughter, Ariel, ticks too!

Recommended - worth reading but if you can’t stand the cliffhangers then wait until you can read them all.

Lena is dealing with the aftermath of her husbands death. He had kept everything in his name only so she has nothing after all those years of hard work, which had alienated her daughter and parents against her. Now, her daughter wants her to come and stay at the lodge and help her find answers. Mail has been forwarded, house looks like it will be gone soon, and it is all unsettling for Lena.
The characters are terrific and so well defined with backstories and intense emotions. The storyline is following each new character as they are added, giving a broader view of the locale and situations. I am sure some of these people, including the new person at the lodge, will be making a major impact on the story at some point. Can not wait to see where this story goes next.

From the first page this story has captured my attention. I have so enjoyed the characters in this story and feel like they are family members. Lena's life is full of challenges and she is trying to mend relationships and determine her path forward after her life plan shatters. It's never easy to go home especially when you never planned to go back. I can't wait to see how she handles her challenges.

Thank you to Booksprout and the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

The story continues with Lena going home to Cape May. Her parents and daughter Ariel want to help her find a solution. Lena talks to the bank again hoping to stop the foreclosure. Although Lena and Ariel push each other's buttons, they are trying to get along. Love that Ariel wants to help her Mom. Enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next. Grace Meyers never disappoints.

Lena arrives to her family inn to try and make sense of how all her money could be gone and what her deceased husband to with it. Lena’s daughter has the mail from the post office box being forwarded to Cape May. However, the mail is not there yet. Towards the end of the story, a guest arrives at the hotel. Could he maybe help Lena with her financial struggles?

A fantastic story line you're easily swept up in. A holiday romance that keeps you turning the pages waiting to see what happens. The characters are realistic, easy to get to know, enjoyable and easy to relate to. This is a series you'll want to read in order as each book is a segment of the story and they all tie together.

As book 2 begins, Lena is headed to an escape get-away
To visit her parents and daughter Ariel. She pitches in to help at the pub as she has unexplained nightmares and worries about losing her house to the bank. Finally she
Communicates with Mr Gregory and seems to develop a plan to make payments on the house. As the book draws to a close a potentially famous musician guest arrives seeking peace and quiet

Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.

Book 2 of this series continues the character development of Lena, the materialistic, workaholic main character. One thing I can relate to with Lena is her need for independence. With a mother who has the best of intentions but continually hoovers and asks "How Lena is", she builds up a wall with her family and becomes self-reliant. We do start to learn a little about Lena's daughter who lives with her grandparents and helps them run the family inn and pub. Now it's on to Book 3.

Ok...I'm just going to throw this out there...but I think the main character is really obnoxious and unlikable. With all the terrible things that have happened to her...I actually find it hard to feel sorry for her. BUT...this story is compelling and I cant wait to read more and see where it is going.

Celebritry for Christmas

This is the right book for right now! The setting is spectacular and just ask anyone in the book and they will agree. Spectacular scenery, everybody knows your or your family. Or where you are staying. This series is addictive. Not too much information, but enough to spark your interest. Bring on number 3!

Lena heads home for a week to figure out what her husband did with the money. She’s helping out with the pub & inn & then a stranger needs a place to stay for a mini vacation. Lena gets stuck picking him up & has no idea who he is until her daughter sees him. Story continues…

This isn't a book, it is a serial. It's not even fun to read because there is no ending. You must start with Book 1 in the series or you won't understand what the story is about. I wouldn't even give it 1 star, but then no one would realize I had even rated it.

I really do enjoy this series. I have heard people complain about how short they are- but what does it matter — it’s still a good read. I just hope that Lena and Ariel have a mother daughter relationship that they should have had for years.

Good, quick read. It's just so frustrating to get to the end and it is incomplete. You have to read all of them to get satisfaction. It seems like they could have been combined into one or two full length novels instead.
