Two cowboys, one wedding, and a night I never thought I'd get to have.
When I arrived at my cousin's wedding I knew two things. One, I'd have to face my overbearing aunt and walk down the aisle with a smile on my face and shoes that hurt my feet. Two, it'd be over before I knew it and I could get back to doing what I loved, rehabilitating horses.
But everything changes when I get to the bed and breakfast where the wedding weekend is being held. Most importantly? I get to be bridesmaid to not one groomsman, but two. Oh, and did I mention they are both handsome cowboys I'd fallen in love with a long time ago?
Now I'm torn between rekindling the flames between me and Colt...or is it me and Sean?
That was the whole reason I'd broken things off in the first place. How could I love one if I loved both?
But after one night being around each other again, there's no denying the chemistry is still there.
Their solution? Why choose when I can have them both? At the same time.
USA Today bestselling author Kim Loraine was raised a Navy brat but spent most of her life growing up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. A proper Washingtonian, she's addicted to coffee, doesn't let a little rain ruin her day, and thinks the sun is a gift from God. When not chasing her three little minions around, Kim spends her time writing, reading, and binge watching Doctor Who.
Well, I'll be. I actually liked an MFM book. It's short, but really, it's all we needed. When two exes are your escorts to a wedding, you have no choice but to attend. So what do you do? Well, you make it work!
The sparks are flying. And when the men come together to make the plan because neither of them can live without you. You jump right on and don't let go!
It's a great short, even better narration. Fast and easy.
I know this was just meant to be a novella, but oh how I want more. Had this been a full length, I would have loved to have a peek at the past to see these former relationships occurring. Then maybe I would have felt a bit more of a connection to this trio. Even without knowing the intensity of the past relationships, this storyline was still good. I love second chance romances, and Chloe definitely had that opportunity presented to her.
I liked how the wedding events set the stage for this reunion.
Aunt Karen was annoying, but served her purpose at all the wrong times.
All in all, the storyline was good. Something was missing with the characters though. I didn't have that connection, and I didn't get the chemistry from them. Basically when it's all said and done, I was left wanting more.
can't help but love sexy cowboys I did the auido This is a short story but what a story to sexy cowboys who love the girlove to girl 5 years ago comes all back around so speaks for their 2nd chance. It was a sweet listen Stella hunter has become one of my favorite female voices I seem to have been very drawn to her lately and she is just very good at what she does. And Sebastian well he speaks for himself. I do think this is the 1st time I've heard him do 2 Male Voices. I mean I've been listening to him for years so I've heard him do within and I've heard him do other characters but it just seemed like such a different setting such a different setting but it was definitely an enjoyable short story.
Chloe goes to her cousin's wedding only to find her groomsmen will be her exes, Colt and Sean, from five years ago. She had been seeing them both and broke it off with both since she could not choose between them. Now they suggest a threesome, as closure, but it does not bring closure. Chloe is afraid of her feelings. Sean and Colt have an idea. Will it work?
I liked Chloe, Sean, and Colt. I appreciate the fear the Chloe feels. I love that Sean and Colt come up with a plan. They just need to get Chloe to get past her fear. The story is good and works well with the characters. I look forward to more of this series.
HEA Standalone Short story about a woman who dated and fell in love with 2 cowboys and left them when she couldn't make a decision. Five years later where the story starts she finds out she is paired with both at wedding. She still loves them, they each love her, and she still is no closer to a decision. They make a choice for her.
Chloe is in the wedding party and gets to walk the isle with two very sexy cowboys Sean and Colt who both are her ex’s. They both want her back but she can’t choose… so they decide she doesn’t have to.
I loved this super steamy short story about Chloe, Colt and Sean. I loved how they decided to get involved with each other. It was flirty and cute as well as being hot as all heck! Both Stella Hunter and Sebastian York were great!
This was a short story about a girl and 2 cowboys she loved. She couldn't choice so she left them both. Fast forward they are put together again and the sparks are still there. How can they make this work? she wants them both but that cannot happen...can it?
I can never get enough of the cowboys in Kim Loraine's world. This story has two delicious cowboys, so yay!!! Excellent narration by Sebastian York and Stella Hunter. Stella just keeps getting better and better!
Second Chance Cowboys by Kim Loraine – The wedding party is one bridesmaid short, so the bride asks her cousin to double up…with her two ex-boyfriends. Is it even a wedding without chaos? Lol Colt and Sean have one more chance to rope their cowgirl! Happy Reading!
If you are looking for a cowboy romance that’s heavy on the cowboy, this is not that. They are cowboys and the have one scene they ride horses but it’s more about reconnecting with a past love at the wedding and less about ranch life.
Even with the understanding that this story is extremely short, there were missing elements that made it feel extremely rushed/implausible. The spice was barely spicy. No one had a personality. Not one of them felt the need to discuss logistics of the future, nor mistakes of the past.
Even for a novella this was overly brief and needed more in the transition from love triangle tension to happy triad. But the writing was good and the characters were about 50% believable. Perhaps a full length novel would've allowed them to be more than cardboard.
😮💨 oh the spice was there alright🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Chloe, Colt, and Sean gave a love triangle a whole new dynamic. This one was not exactly what I was expecting but it was a quick read to help get me caught up 😬
I enjoyed this sweet sexy novella. Chloe is thrown for a loop when her two exes are in the wedding party of her cousins wedding. She still has feelings for both of them and I loved that Colton and Sean were willing to put their feelings aside to give Chloe what she wants. Stella Hunter and Sebastian York did a wonderful job with the duet narration.
