A lesser man would have ran when they found out I was pregnant with someone else's baby.

Not my Dom.

Pax welcomed our child with open arms and made sure she'd never question her worth.

As the newest descendant of the Delvo Witches, our baby is in more danger than ever.

I need my Dom as I learn about my powers, but hunters are coming and I don't know if what I'm capable of will be enough.

Turns out, I'm stronger than I ever thought I would need to be.

I have been writing since high school, but truthfully never thought it would go any further than a few short stories hidden deep within my laptop. It wasn't until my family moved away from everything we knew that I started writing stuff worth sharing. Now, my husband, three kids, our plethora of animals, and I live in the Midwest. When I'm not running around like your stereotypical soccer mom (sans the minivan) I am writing the type of stories I have always secretly treasured. Love stories with a sexy alpha male and a strong submissive female.

Tempest is the continuation of the first book of the Derivation series; you MUST read book one (Scintillation) before reading this one.
Ms. Blake and Ms. Quinn have done it again! Their way of spinning a tale will leave the reading feeling all the emotions possible – from shouts of joy, crying, groans of agony, and just wanting to throw the book across the room out of the frustration.
This is a love story of Stan (a single mother) and her Dom Paxton. How will she go about trusting him completely? That he will not leave her or her daughter?
This is a quick pace story with many twists and turns – that will leave you shaking your head and groaning. Let’s just say book three should tie everything together and answer questions…and it better come out soon (like yesterday). It is hard for this reader to leave a review, because everything I want to say will give something away – and that will ruin it for everyone. Yes, this book ends with a cliffhanger.

I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review

In book two of this series, get yourself ready for a wild ride. I sat down and eagerly devoured this book in one evening! It so well written that you feel like you are right there with Paxton and Constance and her baby Cori! The twist towards the end left me with my mouth open as I never suspected that! This is just going to be a very short review because I don't want to spoil anything BUT, you need to read the first book in this series or you will be lost here. This one will end on a cliffhanger also but book 3 is close to be done so it won't be long! I'm telling you, this series is awesome and I can't wait for Millie's story!!

You will go through so many emotions while reading this book. I've smiled, laughed, got frustrated, and even angry at times. You will be sucked in from the very beginning. Everything around you will fade away and I think that's the witches powers holding onto you until the very end. I felt like I was living through it all. That right there is great writing. This series is so powerful. I will say this..... make sure you have tissues. That ending has me begging for more. Be prepared for the shock of your life. Rachel and Amelia pulled off another amazing book. Bravo ladies.

This is book two of the Derivation series. You do need to read book one before this one. Stan is a mother and she doesn't know who the father is. But that doesn't matter to her Dom, Paxton. He has claimed Stan and Cori (her baby) as his own. The problem is that Stan has no trust that Pax won't leave her. She has a long history of being let down.

The story moves along quickly and there is a huge surprise at the end. I suspected the culprit, but I didn't expect what happened. We also visit with the Ellie and Millie and learn more about their relationships. But the book does focus on Stan. I really enjoyed the book and I am eagerly awaiting book three, Millie's story.

I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Well, that did NOT go as expected! And I like it.

This story follows Stan. Admittedly, I didn't like her at first, but I think she's my favorite cousin now.

Rachel and Amilia did it again, but better. I'm not gonna lie, a couple things I saw coming, but WHOA... a lot more I didn't.

I highly recommend this series and these authors.

Thank you Rachel and Amilia for all of this!! 💜
