Mariano Men #2

Undeniable

Rate this book
Tasha
Always running, never stopping. For years now that is how I have lived my life.
But when my resources run out, I am forced to return to the place I vowed I never would again, New York City. The home of all my nightmares and monsters.

I have spent so much of my life looking over my shoulder that I never even saw him coming. I never expected to fall for a sweet 6-year-old boy… or his father. Suddenly, the thought of running for the rest of my life is seeming less and less appealing. I am feeling things I shouldn’t. Things like hope.

I know my past will no doubt come out in the ugliest way if I am not careful. I should run while I still have the chance and never look back. But at this point, do I even have a choice?

Giovanni
It has been 6 years since my wife was taken from me. Not a day goes by that I don’t carry the guilt or the pain of that loss. With my mind solely focused on the family and my son, I never saw her coming.

When the beautiful girl with an enchanting smile and soft soul worms her way into my life, I find my focus drifting to things I swore I never would again. I shouldn’t want her. I shouldn’t need her. But I do.

And as much as I want to fight this, I can’t help but feel that we are Undeniable.

Loved Loved Loved 💖

I'm a little obsessed with this series and I think I even loved Gio and Tasha's story more than the first book which is saying something 💖 If you thought Luca was a Alpha male whew i think Gio is even more so and Tasha you just can't help but
fall in love with her she's clearly has a painful past but still manages to be strong every day....

Tasha on the run again from a man who thinks he owns her, she finds herself couch surfing on her bestfriends lounge. New city New name New hair New look the story of Tashas life as she trys to outrun her tormentor never staying still for long enough to really be settled her life literally fits in a duffle bag.
But everything changes the day her path literally collides with Giovanni and she wears his morning coffee. A moment passes between them but in the blink of an eye they're on their separate paths again... When Tasha can't get a job with her track record of moving around her bestie offers up her nanny job so she can focus on her business but when Tasha turns up to work the last person she expects to come face to face with is mr coffee man Gio. An undeniable chemistry burns between them but they both skate around it for months. Tasha doesn't plan on sticking around long enough and Gio constantly battles with the feeling of betraying his wife by moving on 💔
But when they finally give into their feelings they realize there's no going back. But Tasha and Gio's enemies may be one in the same and when it comes to light who Tasha is running from and her true identity she'll have to survive not only the family she's running from but the one she's formed that ultimately see her as the enemy especially Gio her lineage hits way too close to home.... But all Tasha has ever known is survival and she won't go down without a fight!!!

Definitely Recommend Reading 📚

Such a good book. Katelyn Taylor is an amazing author. I love the character development. I was hooked with Tasha's character and couldn't stop reading on to see what her story was. Giovanni has a heartbreaking history, and I wanted nothing more than to match Tasha and Giovanni together the moment they met.
The way the chemistry is described makes you feel like you are a part of the romance. Giovanni is a smoking hot mobster, and Tasha is the perfect combination of sweet and sexy.
The way the story ties in with the first book of the series meshes very well, or you could read as a stand alone novel and follow along just fine. I couldn't wait to see where the story took me. I was surprised, and did not see the twist that became of the two lovers. I highly recommend this book to people that like a good romance but a healthy dose of suspense. I can't wait until the third book comes out!!

Great Book

The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was the length of time between what Gio allowed Luca to do and Tasha forgiving him.
Yes she lied about who she was but what they did was unforgivable to me and too quick to go back with him.
I loved Gio & Tasha for most of this book and loved how they’re feelings grew and how he opened his heart again, strange how she never mentioned it was Dimitri who raped and killed Isabelle.
However regardless of his heartbreak at losing his wife what he allowed Luca to do was so wrong and they never gave her a chance to explain and that forgiveness was just too quick.
I still love Alessandro but it’s also been nice seeing the other kids being born in to the family, let see what Alessandro does to Seraphina in this last book as he is obviously going to break her heart for some reason.

Fell in love with Katelyn Taylor's writing after Jagged Harts, and now I'm reading her other books. This did not disappoint! I loved the storytelling of Tasha's past, telling us just enough to keep us on our toes until the grand reveal. Which I must say I didn't see that coming! All of my theories were way off base! Giovanni was just a babe. I loved him. Loved how he struggled with grief and guilt the more time he spent with Tasha. Also adored how much he loves and showed his love for his son it was heartwarming. Then there's his badass side the Underboss of the Mariano family. Which yes, we should be intimidated or whatever but it was so hot! Every time we got a glimpse of him "working" I got major heart eyes. This was a great book can't wait to dive into the next book!

I feel like this book was definitely fun, but it wasn’t really anything special. While I was really anticipating the whole single Dad mafia Romance aspect I feel like the conflict of her being like an opposing family member didn’t really work as it wasn’t focused on as much I also really hated the way that Luca was just kind of allowed to hurt and attack Tasha. It was really gross and upsetting to watch Gio just standby and do nothing. Really wish that hadn’t been included.

I could not put this book down. I read it in less than 2 days and I’m so upset that it’s over! The characters really come to life with the POV changes and I love that as a reader we can see what both Tasha and Giovanni are thinking and feeling. There are some gruesome action bits but it makes it that much better to read. Love the mix of action and romance. Can’t wait to read the next!

I would have given it 3 stars but the author doesn’t know anything about Italians. ABUELA IS SPANISH NOT ITALIAN
(Also Italian cuisine is more than just pizza and pasta)

This is my first read by Katelyn Taylor and it did not disappoint!

The first paragraph of this book hooked me. I already knew I had to know what was going to happen with that opening 😳

Giovanni Cordova. This man. 🥵🔥
I don’t want to spoil him, but let me leave you with a quote:
“You are mine, Tasha, and I protect what is mine. I promise there is no safer place for you than right here. Stay, and I will burn down the fucking world for you.”

And Tasha, she has a past that we are all trying to piece together. I adored her.

This is a must read ♥️

Spice Rating:🔥🔥🔥
Dark Rating:😈😈😈😈

I was probably in one of the worst book slumps before starting undeniable and let me tell you Katelyn Taylor never fails to get me addicted and enthralled by her novels.

Alessandro is by far the sweetest kid (especially compared to my attitude filled 4 year old). I loved his interactions with Tasha and especially the way he and Giovanni were together. Katelyn really articulated the fatherly love Gio has for Alessandro.

Having Giovanni start chapters cussing himself for one stupid decision or another was a hoot! It was so relatable and hilarious that I needed more. You know you're reading a 5-star book when your heart is beating, adrenaline pumping during the most intense, drama-filled parts of the book.

My only criticism is that I wasn’t a fan of the ending. Not only because it ended and I wanted more but I felt the “reunion” between Tasha and Giovanni was a little lacklustre and I was hoping for some type of confrontation between Tasha and Luca. Or maybe Gio and Luka because of what happened to Tasha.

couldn’t put the book down

What an amazing series!!!! I can’t get enough of these deadly and honourable heroes that will die to protect those they love and respect. Each of these books are interconnected stand-a-lone mafia reads, but the characters recur throughout. I’m telling you now, do yourself a favour and read this series, it will be totally worth it!
