I?ve written this book for you who feels so deeply or ?too much,? as others have said. In this book, I celebrate deep feelings and show you the power in their vulnerability. Whether you?re searching for who you are or for someone else who gets you, this book is for you. The short passages inside will inspire you with their themes of friendship, love, and self-discovery. This book made me ugly sob, in the best way. It validates all your feelings in whatever season of life you’re going through (breakup, depression, self-esteem, etc). It put all my thoughts and feelings onto a page and humbly reminds you that you aren’t alone in this world. It reminds you that you have the strength for yourself. It’s a quick and relatable read that makes you feel validated.

Couldn't put it down. Read it in one sitting. Read it in 2 hours. Feel like I could have written this myself. Very relatable.

Tip filled Book

My favorite line had to be “You can be the yummiest juiciest peach of them all and there will still be someone who doesn’t like peaches”.

How the author really gets you and remind you some stuff that you might take it with an open heart made me love this book right away. This book is about Emotional validation and make you feel you’re not alone.
I love how Eileen Lamb really understood the perspective of an “overthinker” and how moving on is a long process and can lead the reader step by step.
I swear, the book will hit you hard if you just got out of a break-up and surely Relaxing.

It taught you things that you might not find in any Instagram quotes, and remind you that whatever happens, you will get through it. (9 / 10)

I’d give 4 stars for this book.

This book isn’t only about relationship, but also about the stages in our life especially when it comes to failure, our dreams, and etc. What I really remember from this book is that the writer gave me a comfort and gentle reminder that it is okay to have vulnerabilities since it doesn’t mean that we’re weak; also that we are not alone since in the other part of the world, there may be someone who feels the same way as us.

Thank you so much for the comforting words and reminders. It is indeed very warming to read this kind of book.

Maybe these are the words you need to hear today. I felt related to some words, and they have hit me really deep down. Author has put down some excellent thoughts and words which sometimes acts as a soothing balm, other times like advice for the current and future situations. I don't know I have explained it well about the book, but you should read the book.

to quotes the author:

When I browse social media, posts that stop me in my tracks are the ones that make me think, “I could have written this myself.”

So some of the words are familiar, especially if you follow similar accounts in social media. It just finding the right phrasing that works for you and the right mood or moment for the words to make impact to you therefore some of the words do hit me while some others don't for me.

I feel a little bit bad for giving only two stars but I wouldn’t really call this a book. It‘s just random motivational phrases scattered around. All the ‚relatable‘ parts felt like a diary page written by 16 year old after the first heartbreak.

3.75 stars.

not as impactful as other thought catalog books since i’m not that ‘relate’ to this one. but overall still a good slow read!

i love reading it 1-2 pages a day to really fully enjoy the lines. so highly recommended for someone who’s need of thoughtful words.
