Ok this was great!! Since meeting these two in Fight or Flight, Fighting for Love book two, I’ve been hoping, asking and waiting for their story. Paige and Ty have been best friends since they were twelve but now that they are older, they look at each other differently. After a big misunderstanding Tyler does the sweetest thing ever and made my heart melt. I love these two to pieces!! 🖤❤️🔥🥊❤️🔥🖤

This Novella is just *chefs kiss* perfection!
If you've read the other books in the Fighting for Love Series then you'll be familiar with Paige and Tyler, and their story has been a highly anticipated read of mine since we first met them.
Their beautiful story is going to be one that makes you feel ALL the feelings, you're going to laugh, and swoon, maybe get a bit frusted with these two, because it's so obvious they should be together!
Also if you're someone who's ever gone through the feeling of not being fully comfortable in your own skin, then this will hit home a bit, like it did with me, but Paige is such a confident and beautiful soul and I've got a good feeling that is going to rub off on you too! 🥰
Harley absolutely nailed this, sometimes Novellas don't always scratch the itch for me, but this was amazing, it was sweet and romantic and such a joy to read!

Sometimes you just want a quickie… Ground and Pound is a fun friends to lovers novella. Although, it touches on sensitive subjects, you won’t feel overwhelmed by the content. So, take a break, fall in love with Paige and Tyler. And, remember that the sales of this book are being donated, cause Harley is just the sweetest.

A sweet love filled novella that has you rooting for the couple.
A fighting feelings for their entire friendship Tyler and Paige finally give into each other.
This is a quick read but it still has all you’ll need for an enjoyable read. I hope to see more from this couple in the future.

Best friends to lovers romances are one of my very favorites, I cannot express what a fantastic job Harley did with this flawlessly written romance, full of wonderful characters , steamy moments, emotional ones as well , and off the charts chemistry between two awesome lead characters. I loved this book from beginning to end .from the moment I met Paige and Tyler I found myself completely falling in love with both characters . I was on the edge of my seat the entire time , anticipating what would happen from one moment to the next. Do not miss the spectacular story

What happens when you fall in love with your best friend. But he don’t know. You put your big girl pants and fine you someone who will love you back. Funny how thing work out. Nope it don’t bother him. But he don’t like this guy for her. She’s to good for him. Maybe nobody is. Or just maybe he just needs to look at it closely. Why jealous. Well, he just just saw his best friend in a new light. Both take a chance and it perfect.

Paige and Tyler lives were tightly intertwined, and had these deep feelings that were difficult to share and communicate to each other. Watching them open up to each other and finding an additional layer of love and acceptance is heartwarming. Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Ever since reading Fight Or Flight and seeing a snippet of Tyler and Paige, I've wanted their story.
I absolutely loved getting to see the other side of the interaction we witnessed in FoF.
The friendship between these two has been strong from day one, and there has clearly always been more attraction there than they've wanted to let on.
It's so good to see them finally get together. And it's also really good to see a "Justin Timberlake lookalike" going for a curvy girl who's on the heavier side, rather than a girl described as having the perfect body etc.
There was a bit of body image and eating disorder touched upon in this book, and I really wanted more of it.
I just wanted more of all of it to be fair.
Absolutely adore Tyler & Paige.
Definite 5⭐ novella for me.

What a beautiful and swoony friends to lovers novella! I read it in less than one hour and made me feel all the feelings!
I loved Tyler and Paige together, I could see how much they loved each other from the very start. I felt for both of them and their backstories, both had lived very tough lives in different ways and deserved that beautiful happy ending. Their chemistry and steam was so beautiful and sweet, I would’ve loved to see more of them like this becasue the physical and emotional connection they discovered through their first time was to die for!
I loved this read very much and I recommend 100%

Tyler and Paige’s story was excellent, only downside was that it was a novella and not a full length novel! It was so good I just wanted more of it!! Another brilliant story from this series, bring on the next. I can’t wait to add this one to my shelf! Well done Harley!

Awww such a romantic novella! I love Tyler and Paige. This story lets me wanting more of them. I love how their friendship evolved. And how their romance starts. All the references for the 90’s music I love them all!!! I’m like Paige, I need to be more confident with my physical, I’m gonna be like Paige and love my body.

Ground And Pound is a friends to lovers novella set in the Fighting For Love series. It’s told in a dual POV. It can be read as a standalone though.
Paige and Tyler have been best friends since they were twelve years old, when she saved him from bullies in Hyde Park. They’ve both had hard past’s, Paige is recovering from an eating disorder and Tyler’s home life growing up was awful. But now that they’ve grown up they’re developing feelings for each other, the only problem is Paige has a new boyfriend who Tyler hates.
Overall I’ve absolutely loved reading Paige and Tyler’s story. Since meeting them in the previous book, Fight Or Flight, I knew that I was going to love Paige especially. She’s funny, sassy, feisty and most refreshingly she’s a plus size heroine, I really found I could relate to Paige. The story is beautifully written and full of sweet and funny moments. At one point I wanted to smack their heads together because you can see just how perfect they are for each other.
I loved that Tyler went all out to redeem himself after a misunderstanding which to me proved how he really feels about her. I also loved all the 90’s music references, they definitely took me back to my teenage years. I loved both of these characters and would love to see more of them. Hands down for my girl Harley, because she did it again!
Harley delivered another amazing book, that gave me all the feels and made me wish I could read it forever and ever. She did an amazing job and I am so happy and incredibly proud of her, and so excited for what is yet to come. I hope she continues to write many, many books.
I loved this book from the beginning to the end.
This was such a beautiful reading experience, it has been a while since I’ve read a book that gave me all the feels. I swear that I had hearts in my eyes for the whole time I’ve read this book.
This book is one of those books, which you want to read of forever and never reaching the end. It is so good, with great writing and amazing characters. The plot is well defined, you have the time to enjoy it, and later fall in love with the characters. And of course, to root for them and their happiness.
This is one of those books that remind me why I fell in love with romantics novel, and why I love so much those happily ever afters. This book is the perfect recipe for a great and successful book. It’s pure bliss, sunshine, happiness and love, with a touch (the perfect amount) of angst, all wrapped in perfect writing and great, lovable and relatable characters.
For me, Paige is everything. Sometimes you read a character and you instantly wanna be their friend, and Paige is definitely one of those characters. I adored her.
I related so much with her and found so much of myself in her character, and I know for sure that there are some things to learn from her.
She is beautiful, charismatic, intelligent and hard-working. Strong, sassy, beautiful and smart, she knows her worth and is not afraid to speak her mind. She is fierce and loyal, determinant and dedicated. I loved her so much, she has such a beautiful and vibrant personality, it is almost impossible not to love her.
Tyler is smart and handsome, and he knows it, with a body that could make the Greek Gods jealous, is easy-going, charismatic and has a smile that makes every girl and woman week in their knees.
I loved the way his character was build, I fell in love with him instantly. No matter how hard I tried at first, I couldn't find something to hate about him.
The attraction and chemistry between Paige and Tyler was undeniable, and their story so well written, and also their friendship it was beautiful and pure. It wasn't one of those instant love story, their story was a steady one, filled with back and forth steps. They gravitated towards each other, always looking for the other or seeking the presence of each other.
Now, if only I could be as lucky with my “Tyler”, but a girl can dream.
If you want a book that is gonna give you all the feels, and turn all your insides intro mush, that this book is definitely the one for you!

Tyler and Paige have been best friends since they were kids, and while she’s always had feelings for him, he’s never thought of her as more than a friend. Okay, so this one was super sweet with a bit of angst! I liked Tyler, although at times I don’t think he necessarily made the best decisions. And my heart went out to Paige at times because we learn things about her that I could relate to. They make an adorable couple, I would recommend this to anyone who likes MMA romance or the best-friends-to-lovers trope!

I absolutely love Harley Reid and the books she writes! They are MMA based stories but they are so much more! Her characters are relatable, the situations are relatable and they are wonderful stories that you can easily read in a day or weekend!
Ground and Pound was a great read. We met these characters in past books and I was always curious about them. To finally get the chance to know them more was amazing! This book has all the feels while having a few triggers for some (eating disorders and bad home life). This was a quick short Novella that is going to leave you wanting more of Tyler and Paige!

I'm obviously not the intended audience for this short story. Maybe it could be loved by the teenage crowd. Friends to lovers trope can be cute. For me their barely twenty but acting like sixteen. It's also set in the UK, so as an American I was confused by several things. The writing is good. The story has potential. Concept is great and could easily be made into something longer, with some work. As an adult, it just felt very 'young' to me. So again, I'm just not the right audience for this.

I loved this quick read - best friends to lovers novella. Sometimes novellas can feel rushed but this one was perfect.
Tyler and Paige finally give in to their feelings and then a little bit of drama comes in to ruin their happy moment. Some stubbornness and fear keep them apart needlessly but a super sweet grand gesture breaks down those walls for the sweetest of reunions a short time later.

Ground & Pound is a wonderful and charming short story about Tyler and Paige who we first meet in Fight Like a Girl. These two are best friends who share a bond that no one can break. Except themselves. Paige longs for Tyler but gets tired of waiting. Tyler doesn’t realize his true feelings until it’s perhaps too late. These two both have secrets and pasts that they are scared to share. Can they overcome and push pst their fears to find something beautiful? Read it to find out!

Ground & Pound is a short, friends to lovers novella in the Fighting for Love Series. This novella was a quick, enjoyable read, and I found it hard not to fall in love with Paige and Tyler.
These two have off the charts chemistry and I enjoyed every minute of it. This was an excellently written romance with amazing characters. I devoured this book in one sitting and loved Tyler and Paige’s love story!

Harley Reid does such a great job of create characters you just want to root for!
Tyler and Paige have a very strong bond you can feel. Their story will make you smile throughout even though Harley touches on some very heavy topics, they are dealt with well without overshadowing the sweetness of the story.
