With Grade 10 “done and dusted,” Peter can now enjoy a summer of hanging out with Neil (and maybe even looking for a new girlfriend.) But his chances of having a “typical high schooler’s summer break” are, unfortunately, nil.
Xavier’s army of evil weather gods outnumber Zoltan’s by a factor of 20, or possibly even 30, meaning the threat of being invaded is growing day by day.
To give themselves a chance against this upcoming onslaught, they need help. A lot of help. But acquiring this assistance will involve dredging up a secret from Sevlar’s past that few even know about.
With time dwindling, and other options nonexistent, Peter leads his team on a risky and dangerous mission to find those who “might” join their side, unaware of what he and his friends will have to conquer in order to get to their destination...
P.J. Nichols is an author who really, really loves games. But not the kind you buy at stores. And not the kind you practice and practice and practice to get good at. He likes the games you think up and make by yourself.
No matter where he is, or what things are around him, P.J. will find a way to create a game. One where you race. Or one where you build. Or one where you think. Or maybe even one where you do all three.
Back when he was growing up with his three brothers in Canada, he was constantly making games. Neighborhood kids (and even some of their parents) would run over to join in. There was never a boring moment in or around the Nichols’ house.
P.J. is sure that his debut novel, Puzzled, will have you rushing to think up games for your friends, brothers, sisters, or parents to try!
Colossally Puzzeled is a really nice book, it is the sixth book in a series called puzzled and I’d like to leave a review here on good reads just as the author requested. This is this years first book and I am pleased with it. One thing I really like about these books is that there are puzzles inside it, and everyone who knows me knows I absolutely love puzzles. As is known from the previous books in this series there will be a war against Xavier, and Peter and his friends have already crushed quite a few uprisings. But Xavier will soon have a big army, so they decided to seek help from Vasilios, a rebel Sevlarian, who ruled a plant full of runaway Sevlarians to help against this war. Tests are given to find tests that find (you guessed it) even more tests! When they find the location they get quizzed even more to test their intelligence. The real game changer was (Spoiler Alert!) Bridget, Bradley’s girlfriend (Bradley is peters brother) who is supposedly an orphan is actually Xaviar’s daughter! Who would’ve expected that?!
Puzzled is an absolute gem in the world of books! This captivating read takes you on a thrilling journey of mystery and intrigue. The way the author weaves together clues and twists keeps you engaged from start to finish. The characters are so well-developed, making you feel like you're right there with them, solving the puzzles. If you love a good brain-teaser, this book is a must-read. I couldn't put it down! 5 stars all the way!
