Boy, I'm Yours

Rate this book
Our connection was instant. But this boy won't make it easy.

There’s something about Colorado I just can’t escape.

It keeps calling me back, time and time again, promising that everything I’ve ever wanted lay amidst those rocky mountains and beneath that moonlit sky.

I had no idea what that something was... until I laid eyes on Dustin McMurray. Six feet of charming man with broad shoulders, kissable lips, and deep green eyes that see right through me.

The only problem is my Colorado cowboy isn’t interested in more than one night.

Even when fate leaves me stranded on his ranch, he resists. He has no problem giving me his body and lighting mine on fire in return, but he guards his heart like a fortress. In his eyes, it’s better to be alone from the start than to wind up even lonelier in the end.

I know without a doubt that this man is meant to be mine. I just need to convince him that no matter how hard he fights it...

I belong to him, too.

One of the better books from the second All American Boy series. Dual perspective, both his and hers. Just enough steam to not qualify as a wholesome read. Good storyline, some inner monologue, decent pace. No complaints, not going to be a re-read for me in the future though.

I did not realize going in how short this was. Despite the length, there was a good development of the characters. They just jumped to HEA very quickly after the hero’s siblings both warning that the heroine Josie was going to need to be patient with him.

It was too short, and as a result, things got a bit rushed. Everything happens too fast, and some stuff is just superficial and feels meh.

Smiled all the way through this book!

I love Molly McLain’s books. When I smile through the whole book, I know it’s going to be great. Her banter is unmatched. Her small town alpha men are always sexy, rough around the edges and completely irresistible. Her heroines are feisty, sexy, independent and ready for true love.

Amazing! Molly is one of my favorite authors so it comes as no surprise to me that I loved Dustin and Josie’s story. The small town, the hot cowboy, the strong, independent woman. I can’t wait to read the whole series. I just wish the book was a little longer! I read it too quickly. Molly, keep ‘em coming!

Ms. Molly McLain, I just have to say, THANK YOU, for the wonderful smile I have right now on my face.
You see. I just finished this fabulous book, Boy, I’m Yours, the latest release by the spectacular Molly McLain.
I absolutely loved this book so freaking much!!! Dustin and Josie, utter perfection!! Both having just the right enough of relationship wariness, and understanding that when the right one comes along, to recognize that fact. Even if fate and mother nature had to step in to make sure they both saw it too!!
I want to say soooo much about this book, but I don’t want to give anything away. I really loved the orchard scene when Dustin…. STOP, I can’t give anything away!! Sorry Ladies, you really need to read this book.
My absolute ONLY problem with this book, I wanted more, a LOT more. I needed more!! Not because it was not a full story, but because it was just so great, I did not want it to end. Then again, with the way Ms. McLain writes her stories, I never want any of them to end. Her writing just draws me into wherever she is writing about, and I NEVER want to leave.
Thank you, Molly McLain for sharing your splendiferous writing with your readers!!
I was gifted with a copy of this wonderful book because of my love of romance, and for my opinions on this wonderful book. In my honest opinion, if you love a great romance, with just the right amount of heat, you cannot go wrong with this book!! So, what are you waiting for? Go hit that purchase button from your favorite retailer. You will be glad you did.
Thank you for reading my review. Have a great day, and happy reading.
One last thought. When you love this book as much as I have, PLEASE share your opinions on the book. All authors really appreciate it!!

Dustin and Josie meet at the music festival and hilarious circumstances lead to an offer to clean up. No worries until the storm blows in and wrecks their plans.  Now they're stuck at the ranch.

Josie is staying with friends for the weekend.  Meeting Dustin and the offer of a hot shower, clean clothes and spending more time with the handsome as sin cowboy is more than she bargained for.  The storm does more than give her extra time,  it also creates a new storm between them.  Too bad she may have to leave...

These two are meant to be.   I am moving to Colorado to find my own Dustin.   There has to be a man out there somewhere who loves head scratches, horses, and is willing to do everything for their person. They say when you know, you just know.

I fell in love with Dustin and Josie almost immediately. What's not to love? She is a strong woman from Chicago and he is a cowboy from Colorado. She visits Colorado for a job interview and to see an old friend. She and Dustin meet and an unfortunate circumstance puts them together where they get the opportunity to spend some time together. From there, the pieces simply fall into place.
As with every book of Molly's I have read this one ticks all my boxes again. It has humor, heat, a tiny bit of drama (but not too much) and a HEA. And the small jaw dropper towards the end was awesome, but you might see it coming.
This book is about another McMurray brother (if you haven't read Perfect Secret yet, you should, sooo good!) But it is a stand alone book and I highly recommend it.

I loved this fast pace insta-love story. Dustin and Josie meet at a music festival and the sparks are instant. Dustin's family owns a huge ranch which Josie has actually been there. Josie is in town for an interview and hopefully, things can change for her. When a flood hits and she's stuck on the ranch sparks will fly. Dustin though guards his heart and life and it's trying not to fall for the one woman who has caught his eye. These two will work through their past and their feelings. They will also have to decide that when Josie leaves if it's worth a long-distance relationship. Can Josie break Dustin's walls down or will she end up hurt?

Cowboys in a small-town romance novels couldn’t come easier to Molly McLain. She hits the mark perfectly.

Dustin is the stubborn cowboy and Josie is the girl looking for a strong cowboy to take her home. Instant attraction combined with the fear of what it could all mean made for a “couldn’t put it down” book.

Their story makes you swoon from the moment they lay eyes on one another at a music festival. After being stranded on his family’s ranch she’s more than happy to be there and he can’t seem to decide where his head and heart are. The build up to steamy moments between the two are perfection. The banter and budding relationship had me holding my breath for the happily ever after.

If you’ve read any of Molly’s other books you’ll be delighted that a few other characters names pop up in here. It’s a great reminder of how memorable she makes her characters. Descriptive writing that makes you feel like you’re actually hanging out with her characters.

Another must read from author Molly McLain.

Another enchanting absorbing and hot read by Molly McLain, she had me devouring, Boy, I'm Yours in one sitting, once I dived into Josie and Dustin's story I was hooked.

Josie has come back to Boulder, Colorado for a job interview at the centre where she trained as an equine veterinary nurse, but she has kept the information from her Mom, who she knows won't be happy with her wanting to move halfway across the country. Dustin runs his dads farm and feels the weight of that hanging heavy on his shoulders, Dustin is a one-night stand kind of guy, he isn't looking for anything more, but when he clashes eyes with Josie at a music festival in town things will never be the same again.

Trapped together after a storm the pair start to explore their feelings for each other, but with Josie about to return home and Dustin still trying to come to terms with his feelings, this is not going to be all smooth sailing,

I loved the little twist at the end, which perfectly ended this must-read book!

Loved it!

I loved this. I read it in one day. I couldn’t put it down. It’s a sweet short story of Dustin, sexy cowboy, and Josie, who studied to be a vet and happens to love cowboys. There are a few surprises along the way and of course the steamy scenes we expect from Molly. The chemistry these too have is HOT! I haven’t read the Bear creek series but plan to now. My only negative is I wish it was longer because I wanted to stay on that ranch in Colorado

McLain has a little fun playing peek-a-boo hearts. Boy, I'm Yours lightens the mood with more than a few laughs, heartwarming characters and an irresistible story. Josie and Dustin leap off the page and into your heart and never vacant the premises. With numerous twists and captivating romance, there is no escaping the draw.

This was a super quick, amazing read. This is part of the All American Boys series, and I absolutely loved this book. Josie and Dustin meet at a music festival, and it’s an instant attraction. Watching them fall for each other, when both have their own issues with relationships, was beautiful. Despite everything, they new they needed each other. I’ll definitely read the other books in this series. And highly recommend this book.

Colorado is an amazing place, so it's no surprise that Josie is excited about the prospect of moving back.

Dustin distracts himself from the weight of responsibility by enjoying a night at the local music festival.

This story is all about the HEA, and the ride Molly takes you on with Josie and Dustin packs in all of the best sweet, fiery, twisty, frustrating bests that you find in her other stories, but in such a unique way you won't be able to put this novella down!

Another small town romance by Molly McLain? Yes, please! I swear this author never disappoints when she puts pen to paper. Boy, I'm Yours is a quick read but it's chock full of sexy, swoony fun. I loved Josie and Dustin and the rest of the cast of characters in this story. Josie brought light and love into Dustin's life when he least expected it and together these two were electric. There was so much chemistry between these two and I loved seeing their relationship grow and Dustin's walls slowly crumble. Boy, I'm Yours is Molly McLain's writing at its best. Don't miss this 5-star read!

Dustin and Josie were intsa-love and so much more!

Dustin's past has made him a little hesitate with getting involved with women. He doesn't want to have heartbreak like his father has had. So when he see Josie he's a little off kilter by the rush of emotions he feels. Josie lost her father and her mother is afraid of losing her too so she's can be a bit much. When she gets an opportunity to go back to Colorado she jumps at the chance. But she doesn't except to be knock off her feet be a sexy green eye cowboy.

I really like Dustin and Josie, they had me invested immediately. If you like short stories about cowboys and insta-love check this one out.

Fantastic read! I really enjoyed this "trapped together" read, set in the background of a ranch disaster and a country music festival. Both leads were engaging, and Ms. McLain brought the heat!

Boy I’m Yours is a fast paced cowboy romance that has sparks flying and the chemistry between these two heating up the pages. Dustin and Josie are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame and no matter how much Dustin wants to protect his heart there will be no stopping what fate has planned for these two. It is packed with passion, drama and romance. An emotional story that gives you the best of the best when it comes to an insta love romance. My only negative on this story is I didn’t want to let these two go just yet and could have spent more time with these two characters who stole my heart in such a short space of time.

I absolutely loved it. Oh my goodness! This one had me with my feelings all over the place. Being a widow and still being wrapped up in my person and knowing that no matter where the rest of my life leads me he would want me to be happy so the tender moments about Dustin’s mom was a direct hit to me heart. The sweet easygoing moments between Dustin and Josie made me smile plus the sexy time was scorching. The time the McMurray’s spent together as a family were endearing. I laughed, smiled, cried, and squirmed with this story. Like I said; my feelings were all over the place. I love Molly’s stories because they never disappoint. Until next time y’all happy reading.

I really loved this short story by one of my favorite authors. Molly never fails to draw me in with her story and Josie and Dustin's story was no exception. I thought that I knew how this story was going to go just from the blurb, but in true Molly style, there was a couple of twists thrown in there and I loved every minute of it! I loved how there were doubts on the feelings brewing between the two on both sides, and Dustin knew that there was something between them, but he didn't want to mess things up. This was such a good read!
