Good story, bad Saint!
I started this right after finishing The Rise of Saint (book 1) and I really liked the end of that book because I thought that Mila was going to win some ground over Saint and he would change. He is uber dominant, dark and controlling. I was hoping that Mila running away from Saint would make him realize he has feelings and that when they got back together he would be a better man with her.
That actually did happen, somewhat. I won’t go into what exactly occurred because I don’t want to give away the resolution of the cliffhanger, but suffice it to say that Saint still has some room to grow. I am not sure if he will, because he likes himself the way he is and though Mila keeps fighting him on everything, she still ends up letting him control her more that I would like.
There is sometimes a fine line between BDSM pain/pleasure and actual abuse and I think this one crossed that line, but Mila hasn’t left and doesn’t want to, so she seems ok with it. The story states that Saint’s need for control and dominance went beyond the bedroom, and Mila acknowledged that she got excited more than once at the prospect of pain or the infliction of it. I think the ways in which it were done in this book were falls over that line to abuse. I kept wanting her to leave him and teach him a lesson.
I did not like the way that Saint asserted his dominance with Mila. For example there were a few times when she either didn’t do something he wanted or was doing something he didn’t approve of and he would grab her hard and it was described as his fingers slicing into her flesh. Not only that, but he was doing it for the smallest little things, like the fact that he asked her to wear red and she didn’t or she mentioned that his attitude might ruin the day for the rest of them because he might be a “Buzzkill”.
The writer infused these times also with sexual talk and innuendos to make it a bit steamy, but it still felt way too overbearing and cruel. Though I must say that this is the story. Saint wants to control Mila in every way. Mila pushes back and she lets him know that he has been cruel. Saint responds that he hasn’t been cruel, he has been dominant. He goes on to say all the ways he could make her life miserable if he were being cruel. He sees being dominant as telling her they way he wants things and having her do whatever he says. Though Mila is smart in how she fights against him.
So I guess I still have faith that Mila will prevail and Saint will see the error of his ways. Though Saint is definitely not all bad. He is just so afraid that if he gives an inch he will lose all control and become some kind of monster. He did start to realize he has feelings for her and they certainly have chemistry. Mila does enjoy the things he does to her and there were some scenes where Saint watched Mila sleep or held her that showed he is more than just a controlling robot.
The story regarding his revenge against his father is very interesting and I really want to find out more about his past. We already know that Mila was in the foster care system and was abused by more than one of her foster families. But Saint is giving information on himself very slowly. He allows Mila to ask him one question per day. I will definitely read the next book!

in two words....sexy and hawt
adding these words...action packed, dark dominating anti-hero and a whole bunch of secrets...
Mila and Saint are just getting through the second obstacle...once they sort of passed the notion of the first encounter in the book 1.
and damn, I simply didn't realize that theer would be a third book...

Mila aveva capito di essere stata semplicemente una pedina nelle mani di Saint che l’aveva usata per raggiungere i suoi scopi. L’unica cosa che poteva fare era fuggire da lui. Ma mentre cercava di metteva distanza tra loro si era ritrovata a combattere l’impulso di fermarsi e tornare sui suoi passi:
«Di tornare dal mostro che mi aveva rapita, spezzata e resa sua».
Era trascorso solo poco tempo da quando era andata via ma già la sua anima soffriva per quella perdita. Lo bramava come non credeva possibile:
«Quando era accaduto? Quando il dolore che mi aveva inflitto si era trasformato in una pena d’amore? Quando il mio bisogno di libertà era diventato un desiderio di sottomissione?».
Grazie a Saint Mila aveva scoperto una parte di sé che non conosceva, sentiva desideri e pulsioni talmente potenti da lasciarla senza fiato. E solo lui, suo marito, era in grado di spegnere l’incendio che divampava dentro il suo corpo.
Raphael che l’aveva accolta, aveva compreso che sua sorella temesse Saint, ma nonostante la promessa di poter ricominciare insieme come una vera famiglia, senza la presenza del marito, non era riuscito a dissuaderla. Mila non si sentiva costretta a tornare da Saint, ma questa volta desiderava farlo.
E così aveva preso la decisione di dare un’occasione al mostro che l’aveva rapita e che gridava potere e ferocia. Un uomo pericoloso e seducente che sapeva come accendere il suo desiderio e renderla concupiscente.
Era fortemente convinta di poter far parte del mondo di Saint, fatto di avidità e potere e che sarebbe riuscita ad integrarsi, ma era una bugia che si era raccontata solo per trovare un luogo al quale appartenere, dove sentirsi amata, venerata e al sicuro.
Ma aveva fatto male i conti. Le cose stavano diversamente.
🖋️In questo secondo volume Saint è rimasto fedele all’uomo dominante e prevaricatore del precedente libro. È un bugiardo manipolatore ossessionato da Mila, verso la quale prova desideri lussuriosi che lo consumano, intrisi anche di un forte sentimento che all’inizio pare voler ignorare, ma in seguito accetta il fatto che possa trattarsi di amore.
🖋️Il personaggio di Mila risulta cresciuto. È più tenace, determinata e forte, e lo dimostra nel momento in cui, trovatasi in grave pericolo, sfodera tutto il coraggio che possiede.
Stanca di lottare ed essere in conflitto con se stessa, decide di cedere il controllo all’uomo che ormai ha fatto breccia nel suo cuore e che ha accettato di amare. Diventa liberatorio per lei abbandonarsi finalmente al peccato.
🖋️Ho amato moltissimo il momento infuocato che i protagonisti hanno vissuto sullo yacht dell’Empress, descritto con cura e tanto sentimento:
«L’infrangersi ritmato delle onde, l’aria fresca che accarezzava la mia pelle e il meraviglioso suono del battito del suo cuore annerito, mi acquietarono».
🖋️Un sequel che ho trovato molto hot, un giusto equilibrio tra l’erotico e il romantico, nel quale non mancano momenti di forte tensione e suspence, con colpi di scena soprattutto sul finale.

5 I own you stars!! Omg this is going straight to my favorites list!!
This is a follow up book to “The Rise of Saint” which ended in a wtf cliffhanger. So page one jumps right in. So exciting!!
I was blessed to be able to beta read this book and let me say Bella J killed it again!! If you read my review for “The Rise of Saint” you would know Saint wasn’t my favorite. I was drawn to him but annoyed the ever loving shit out of me. Well let me just say all that alpha male he has going on has now made me obsessed. That’s how good these books are. I hated the man and now I am in love!!
The two main characters have demons and while reading this you want them to spill it all. The author sprinkles little tidbits throughout and then bombs get dropped every so often. She makes you crave this book. When I couldn’t read all I could think about is this book.
It’s fast paced, sexy, full of alpha males, beautiful things and so many secrets. This is a definite MUST read!!

Alluring. Seductive. Enthralling. Saint is at it again. Once again making your feelings swing between Love, Hate and unrestrained passion. 😍😍🔥🔥.
After running away from Saint and meeting her newfound family in the form of her brother, Mila is filled with all kinds of feelings. Whom can she trust and who she shouldn't. Getting to know her brother opens up new questions and in addition to this is Saint's father who is ever ready to add complications when it comes to Saint.
But Saint..once again proves himself as a strong predator who pounces unbeknownst on his victims. But amidst all this he doesn't realise when he himself starts to fall for Mila' whims. Both Mila and Saint find themselves getting entangled in a web of feelings and emotions, both diving into unchartered territories.
Red dresses, Milan and being in the most luxurious places in the world. I felt like I just lived a life of royalty myself vicariously through mila. BUT MORE THAN THIS THE PASSION, THE SIZZLING, GASOLINE LIT FIERY CHEMISTRY BETWEEN MILA AND SAINT🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️
You'll will need something or lots of Cold to calm down from all the heat. 😁❤️.
I was completely hating Saint once again. I just couldn't understand this person just like mila. But DAYUMMMM. ONCE AGAIN FOUND MYSELF LUSTING AND LOVING OVER HIM. 🔥🔥😍😍.
Saint is this powerful wizard that'll enthrall you in his own web and leave you completely at his mercy.
Also, there's more of Saint to come. YESSSSSSSSS. BRING IT ON, BELLA J. CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE OF SAINT ALREADY. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

If you love Dark Romance, this is definitely the book for you. The Fall of Sin had me at the edge of my chair from beginning to end, once I started reading there was no putting this book down. I absolutely fell in love with the characters, with Saint obviously being my fave. Even if there were times I wanted to knock him upside the head LOL I love when authors make me feel things through their words and Bella J did just that. There were times I was so mad and wanted to through my kindle and there were times I was laughing out loud and my family probably thought I was crazy but the banter between Mila and Saint sometimes you couldnt help but laugh. Their connection was intense, hot and so twisted. Wouldnt have it any other way. The suspense in The Fall of Sin had me biting my nails, I couldnt wait to see what was to come from the turn of each page and the way it ended, now I cant wait for the next title.

THE FALL OF SIN IS ONE HELL OF A 5-STAR KICKASS RIDE! I WAS THRUSTED FULL THROTTLE RIGHT BACK INTO SAINT’S & MILA’S JOURNEY.
This review is absolutely spoiler free. I’m not giving the goods away. You have to experience it for yourself.
What do I love about reading a 5-star novel that takes my breath away? Writing a review of that book that translates how the book made me feel and exemplifies what a 5-star read should actually be. The Fall of Sin is that book.
I was anxiously waiting, restlessly like a Mexican jumping bean for The Fall of Sin. Nothing and I mean NOTHING prepared me for the level of suspense and intensity that was written in the pages of this book.
The Fall of Sin by the amazing Bella J. is one hell of a 5-STAR kickass ride and I was not buckled in. I was immediately thrusted, full throttle right back into the story that is Saint and Mila and WHAT…A…RIDE…THAT…WAS!!! OMG!!!! I loved this book even MORE than the first, The Rise of Saint, and I didn't think that was even possible.
Bella J has proven time and time again that she rocks at mastering the perfect, mouthwatering mafia, dominant anti-hero. Saint is proof of that.
“Tell me, Mila. Am I the God who helps you defeat temptation, or the devil who forces you to your knees…right before you succumb?”
The author stayed true to Saint’s powerful, gritty, raw, in your face, don’t mess with me, unpredictable dominant nature. That guy is so growly. Deliciously so. That’s what I love about him. He didn’t change just because he was falling for the enemy’s daughter. He remained steadfast in spite of it.
There were glimmers of Saint’s softer side and let me tell you, those moments sucked me right into a different dimension. I was like an addict. A Saint addict. A junkie who just couldn’t get enough and needed her next fix. Each time he showed his softer side, his protectiveness of Mila, I swear my toes curled and my heart went into overdrive. Saint is utterly and completely no saint. He’s the perfect anti-hero. He is sin incarnate. Temptation at its best.

And Mila…. Gah! I fell utterly and completely in love with her character even more in this book. She’s been through so much in her young life. Mila has come such a long way since being taken from New York. It’s takes a strong woman to embrace the circumstances that have been thrown her way.
She’s proven to be more than an agenda, a means to an end. She is without a doubt the perfect ally to Saint, her husband. She is the perfect submissive to his dominant.
It is so satisfying to see her grow into a character with such strength. Strength that will be needed when faced with danger. Especially when that danger puts the lives of the innocent on the line. She is a selfless force to be reckoned with. A force that was built for a queen. Saint’s Queen.
“God, I was so tired of fighting this. To constantly be at odds with myself, trying to fight the desire that possessed me whenever he was this close. To be able to give in and accept whatever the hell this was between us would be liberating. The fall of sin.”
The chemistry between these two is OFF THE CHARTS. The sexy time between them had my girly parts standing up and taking notice. Cheering for them from the sidelines. Sizzling hot is an understatement. This couple was born to be together.

There are many questionable characters and downright evil villains throughout the story that you will love to hate. Everyone has an agenda. Saint’s father, yikes! That guy gave me the chills and not the good kind. Raphael will leave you guessing friend/brother or foe? And Anete? I’m not giving anything away!!!!!
As in The Rise of Saint, my favorite supporting characters were Elena. Such a beautiful soul. Her relationship with Mila is so special. And James has proven to be a loyal confidant and best friend to Saint. Both characters are wonderfully written. I just love them. Especially Elena.
One of my favorite parts of this book was Chapter 15. It was a pivotal chapter. So powerful and brilliantly written. That’s when things turned the corner for this couple. Sorry. No spoilers!
The Fall of Sin is a phenomenally written and incredibly entertaining read. It was so suspenseful, scary, and even comical at times (banter between Saint & Mila) and had me on such an adrenaline rush it sent my heart into overdrive. There was never a dull moment. NEVER!!!! I was dizzy with excitement. And the climatic ending left me so damned satisfied.
But make no mistake, my heart is still beating fast just thinking about having to wait for the final installment, The Sins of Saint, which can’t come fast enough.
I highly recommend this jam packed exciting 5-STAR mafia romance to anyone who loves dark romance, an intense alpha male hero who takes total control, oozes power and dominance and a beautifully strong heroine who lets him do just that.

This review is absolutely spoiler free. I’m not giving the goods away. You have to experience it for yourself.
What do I love about reading a 5-star novel that takes my breath away? Writing a review of that book that translates how the book made me feel and exemplifies what a 5-star read should actually be. The Fall of Sin is that book.
I was anxiously waiting, restlessly like a Mexican jumping bean for The Fall of Sin. Nothing and I mean NOTHING prepared me for the level of suspense and intensity that was written in the pages of this book.
The Fall of Sin by the amazing Bella J. is one hell of a 5-STAR kickass ride and I was not buckled in. The Fall of Sin is the second book in this series. You have to have read The Rise of Saint before this one or you are going to be really lost. This is also a dark romance and may hold some triggers for some people. This book picks right up where The Rise of Saint left off with Mila running from a meeting that Saint has interrupted to show her off to the world as the long lost or thought dead Torres first born. Here she meets her brother too and this is a shock in and of itself to Mila. Her brother is there to make a deal with Saints dad for control of the shipping business that her family owns and her brother just wants to make the deal for the money to open a art gallery with is partner and live the good life. But if Mila doesn't agree the deal will be off and all his plans will be for nothing since Saints Dad thought he would have total control over the entire business. I am just telling you like the first part of the book. Like two chapters and I don't want to give anything else away about the story. What I will tell you is that this book is amazing!!! I was hooked and couldn't wait to get my hands on this book to find out more about Saint and Mila. I love these two together weather they like each other or not. I like how Saint fights so hard to not have feeling for Mila and Mila gives to Saint just as good as she gets. I loved that she stick up for herself. I love that she has that bone in her body that makes her think for herself and defy Saint. It's not always in her best interest but it makes for some amazing banter between Mila and Saint. I love that in this book we get to see a side of Saint that I am sure he never shows to anyone and I loved watching Mila fight her feelings too because all she ever wanted once she has gotten to know Saint was for him to be more than his revenge plan against his father. I would give this book more than five stars if I could. I devoured this book. I loved getting lost in their world and I for one can not wait to get more of Mila and Saint!!

This is book two of the series with book three due to come out later this year. To date this series is one of my favorite series this year. This story has intrigue, suspense, plenty of sexual kink and passion between Saint and Mila and eventually a love story. The first novel of the series was anything but a love story. Saint's character is brutal and a cold blooded murderer in his quest to get his revenge and Mila is the unsuspecting pawn that he needs in order to carry out his plot. She has been living on the street most of her life, orphaned as a baby and put into one foster care.
She is handed over to Saint in book 1 by the boy she thought was her friend and must watch Saint assassinate him. She has no idea why she is being kidnapped and Saint being the monster he is, refuses to tell her anything. She is forced to marry Saint or have the orphanage she knows and loves destroyed by Saint. He forces her into submission and complete control even though she fights him at every turn. Mila continues to fight Saint throughout both novels, questioning why he is doing this to her, but eventually, like all women in these novels gives into the enjoyment of the sex including the kink that Saint introduces to her. Mila is young but is a very strong female heroine. She is constantly asking Saint to explain things but Saint is very tight lipped and keeps telling her that it's business and refuses to give her any information. He constantly sets her up for danger by withholding critical information about the real circumstances regarding the plot he has been planning for ten years that includes her. Even as he is professing his love for her at the end of book 2 he still refuses to trust her by including her in everything that is going on in real time.
The Fall of Sin has moments when Saint exhibits some redeeming qualities. He is still a monster whose temper fluctuates like a person who suffers from a Manic Depressive disorder, but cracks do start to appear toward his feelings for Mila. She becomes more to him than just a sacrificial lamb. Add a deceased family for Mila she never knew she had; a brother that is still alive, 10% of stock Mila owns in her family's business, Saint's aunt Elena, and Saint's corrupt father and you have a recipe for book 3.
An intriguing read with a strong heroine in Mila and a disturbing alpha male character with many secrets in Saint. Looking forward to book three of this series.

This one is the second in this series. It picks up right where the first one left off. The first one left off with quite the cliffhanger. I love when writers pick up exactly where the first one leaves off. You can continue the story and not feel like you are missing anything. Mila leaves with her brother. Feeling that she has done the right thing. Saint is destroyed by this and will do anything to get her back. Mila ends up learning quite a bit when she is with her brother but will it change her mind when it comes to Saint?
Saint does get Mila back and things between them start to change. Mila is becoming a different person but so is Saint. But there is a big secret that Saint is keeping from Mila. The writer is also keeping it from her readers. She hints at it but by the end of the book you still don't know what it is. Mila's life is once again put in danger when her brother attempts to kidnap her from Saint. But Saint comes through for her. But will it be enough?
I love the chemistry between Saint and Mila. It continues to grow and change them both. But I have a feeling that this secret Saint is keeping is going to change things for the worse. I loved book one devoured it in a space of a few days, same goes for book two!!!! I just couldn't put this down Bella writes so beautifully I was lost in these books and I tell you I can't wait for the next one.

Wow. I've read quite a few of Bella J's books and I must admit, this is by far my favorite. The chemistry, banter, sex scenes, and emotions between Saint and Mila are off the charts hotness. A beautifully written novel that pairs a feisty heroine and dark hero within an Italian setting that leaves you wishing you were there with them. Add in some ruthless villians and you have a plot with the perfect amount of twist versus romance.
Saint is dream-worthy, drool-worthy and everything in between. I love me a arrogant alpha that knows he owns the world and the woman.
Mila is feisty, gives as good as she gets but knows when to play the perfect submissive to his dominance.
A highly recommended read.

Mia ran away from her husband Saint. Saint is determined to find her and keep her. Mia knows how cruel and punishing Saint can be and is equally determined to escape him. These two are so much fire and steam. A dark romance not to be missed.

Mila's beautiful and fiesty she definitely keeps Saint's attention even when his dominant side comes through she resists him at every turn but these two have formed a very strong bond. I love the push and pull between the two they truly are a force to be recond with but the danger is always lurking.

This is the 2nd book in the series and didn't disappoint. The characters are fabulous. Even Saint as hardcore as he is, you can't help but be attracted to him. One reason being he's handsome, mega rich, has a personal helicopter, yacht, and airplane. It is a rollercoaster of emotions when the orphaned exquisite Milana escapes from Saint after being forced to marry him in the first book. She finds herself caught up in suspense, danger, and continued mystery as to what is going on with Saint and his father and now her suddenly found brother. Be prepared for some sinful, raw, scorching sex. Bella J is a brilliant author! Read it today!

I almost want to say that Bella's books need to come with a generic 5-star rating and a review that states she once again took us on an exhilarating ride of twisted and hot madness. I love how Saint is a dominant alpha, yet at the same time almost putty in her Mila's hands. She figures out how to use this to her own advantage and pleasure. The tension between them is almost physically palpable and I had to put it down a few times to just focus and calm down a bit. I simply cannot wait for what comes next!!! Bella's writing is my addiction.

The Fall of Sin is the second installment of Saint and Mila’s story. Having met Saint in The Rise of Saint and finding him a dark, alluring character, I was desperate to read more and unravel his secrets. Bella J did not disappoint this time round!! Saint and Mila continue their tempestuous relationship, learning more about each other.
The ending had my jaw drop! Now I just don’t know how I am going to hold out for installment 3!

This is like a low 3.5 stars. Redemption arc is in full swing but we haven’t met the full potential. A lot of this book entails the business side of the arranged marriage negotiation and I don’t rly understand it sooo I skimmed a lot. But ya. This book is meh but I’m still gonna read the third one

Ahh!!! The anticipation continues in the second book. So much happened it's hard to put into words. The author absolutely hit the nail on the head. Reeling you in! Making me read it in one sitting. Truly amazeballs. The chemistry between the two characters was HOT!! You could feel it all the way down to your toes. At times I felt as if I needed to take a breather. It seemed as if once again the characters were made from oil and water. But they worked. It was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait for the 3rd book to come out. This hands down is one of my favorites of all time.

I never thought it would be possible for saint to redeem himself but in this book we find he’s got a soft spot.he still ha ulterior motives but soon finds protecting Mila to be a primary goal.dont get me wrong he’s still a manipulative bastard and he makes Mila work for every tender moment. I was very unsure this book would have a a HEA but it did. Now I found out their story continues and I for one can’t wait.

It’s all - nerve-wrenching action, heartache, tension, twists and turns, and the off-the-charts hot, sometimes explosive, sometimes tender, sensual moments only Bella J can write with her special flair.

This is book 2 in the rise and fall series and just like the first one it does not disappoint! This book starts out strong and has you gripping your kindle through all the twists and turns until the very end! Saint is anything but and Mila is a feisty heroine with a smart mouth. This is such a delicious dark romance that I couldn't recommend enough!

Omg!!! I freaking loved this book! The bantering, the passion and angst made for an exciting story!! Had me guessing at every turn! Watching the ice melt slowly off Saint and finally succumbing to Mila! Hotness overload! Fantastic!!
