When Beth Spencer meets a charming doctor, they agree to the ultimate masquerade. He needs a fake girlfriend to rescue him from a vengeful ex at a bachelors' auction. She needs a date for her stepsister's wedding. No strings, no expectations.
Perfect.
But when real feelings begin to develop and fear of a broken heart takes over, the charade starts to unravel. Can Beth's love of cosplay keep her heart masked or will the doctor heal more than her twisted ankle?
If you like reading romantic comedy and modern fairytales you'll love this sweet romance.
Charming romance about doctor and a cosplay coordinator. Her wicked stepmother and stepsister make her life void of love except for her father. Interesting development at sisters rehearsal dinner.
There are no fears worse than the ones we conjure up in our own minds. Trusting is scary and fearful. I really enjoyed this story by Jessica Parker, starting with the fake relationship to the real one developing.
Beth has her dad, friends, and a job she loves. Brad also has family, friends, and a job he loves. Neither has an interest in getting married, and that's where the fun begins. It's a good story with surprises along the way.
