This is showing some more depth to all the characters, and showing that people can and will change. I also like that it's not romanticizing the delinquent/gang lifestyle. These kids go through hell and put others through hell, and that's definitely shown.

Seguimos con las andanzas de Takemichi por salvar a su "novia" del instituto mediante " sus viajes al pasado" con ayuda del hermano de la novia. En este volumen veremos que la cosa se va complicando, ya que no solo tiene que salvarla a ella sino que están involucrados varios miembros de la banda tokyo con dicha muerte.

Much better volume than the last.

We get to see Takemichi really strive to save his friends here. A little bit more hopping back and forth give a lot of context to who these guys are. Little clues to where it all goes wrong. The series picks up intensity as it unravels itself to leave the last few pages on the edge of your seat before shit is about to go down.

I was much more intrigued in this volume to see where we'd go. It helps the characters are flushed out more, giving us a deeper looking into multiple characters including Sano and Ryuguji. I really liked the comedy this volume too, far better and funnier. The pacing worked well and it was much better than the last volume in that sense.

Le cose iniziano a complicarsi.
Vorrei dire tante cose ma spoilerei e non mi va. Dico solo che mi piace sempre di più.
Dinamiche interessanti e intreccio passato / presente intrigante.
Personaggi e storia davvero molto bella.

Sono contentissima di averla iniziata.

In Deutschland sind Vol. 1 und 2 ein Doppelband.

Takemichi Hanagaki erfährt, dass seine einzige Freundin Hinata Tachibana von der Tokyo Manji Gang getötet wurde. Am nächsten Tag wird er am Bahnsteig von einem Unbekanntem auf die Gleise gestoßen. Dadurch reist er 12 Jahre in die Vergangenheit und steckt in seinem Ich aus der damaligen Zeit. Nun will Takemichi die Zukunft ändern und Hinata vor ihrem Tod bewahren. 

Ein sehr spannender Einstieg. Konnte mich direkt begeistern. Ich hoffe das können die folgenden Bände auch.

I read a digital copy of this book.

This book is really interesting, basically, Takemichi has gone to see his old best friend to establish how he was involved with Hinata's death and what he can change in the past to go change that. However, Akkun quickly takes a dark turn after ending his own life and things get even more dark and more twisted. Takemichi must go back to get in favour with the gangs leader, Mickey to stop a fight happening that leads to leadership changing in the future and ultimately to Hinata's death. Overall though, it's never that simple.

I'm really enjoying taking this story slow, it's easy to pick up again and set down and I'm in no rush for it to end. I like the characters and how they interact and I will definitely be continuing on.

Takemichi is always getting his ass beat. It’s a wonder he has any brain cells left lol.

Ah this is making me so so anxious. I’m pushing myself to continue because I like it and I want to know what’s going to happen, but my heart really feels like it’s going to explode. I’m so afraid for Draken and Mikey.

Overall: We get the backstory of Mikey and Draken's friendship AND ITS THE CUTEST THING EVER PLEASE




This arc focuses on Mikey and Draken's friendship and how they came to be the friends that they are now. I freaking love DRAKEN AND MIKEY'S dynamics. They completed each other in a sense that makes you just 🥺 looking at them. This volume also is the arc where Takemichi was brought to the rest of the Toman gang and met Pah and Mitsuya. Its the start of the Moebius arc and how Toman was divided. In some ways, this chapter made me tear up. Takemichi has a new resolve in every chapter and I'm living for it. We have to be patient with him, but again, the more you read about him the more we find his character enduring.



Also biggest shoutout to the main trigger for this book Hinata Tachibana our main girl Hina. She is badass, strong and believes in Takemichi the most. My heart for her. We stan this woman.

This was so cool! Takemichi goes into the past and being close friends with Mikey and Draken and learns more about Toman and what could have happened that made him this way, they learn of the Moebius fight and in the present he realize he needs to do something to stop it as multiple lives are in the balance here but a little too late and war maybe here. I loved how this volume focuses on clear and simple explanations but doesn't forget the big conflict and that moment with one of Takemichi's friend is quite emotional. Loved that whole part and the art keeps getting better.

Pensé que la mayoría de la historia iba a transcurrir en el pasado y me sorprendió (para bien) que Takemichi vaya y vuelva varias veces. Lo que tiene sentido dentro de la historia en sí pero además ayuda a reconstruir lo que pasó/va a pasar.
Nota al pie: está mal que me gusten como personajes Mikey y Draken?

Gangster-themed and teenage biker gang manga really isn't my cup of tea but after I read a few yaoi fanfics from this fandom even before I watched the anime adaptation. I was kinda smitten with the story and its characters!

Plus, after I watched the anime adaptation and saw how a certain character interacted with another certain character (I'm sure you know who I'm talking about), my reaction was: "Holy shit! You're telling me this is not a Boy's Love series!????"

Todo avanza poco a poco mientras la situación se complica tanto en el pasado cómo en el presente. Me sabe mal, pero a veces me río un poco de Takemichi, es que da igual el reto que se proponga, fracasa estrepitosamente.

Mi capítulo favorito de este tomo es en el que conocemos el pasado de Draken y vemos cómo conoció a Mikey. La relación de amistad de estos dos es preciosa 🥺
