Gwendolyn Lache’s latest case takes her to the deserts of the southwest, home to gun-toting cowboys, sun-scorched caverns, and high-noon showdowns.
Gwendolyn Lache has been given a fresh start, trading in the lush forests and Midwest plains for sandstone cliffs and desert cacti. This time around she’s determined to play it straight and show the higher-ups that she’s got what it takes. Easier said than done, especially when the Great Coyote Spirit Glooskap appears and charges her with finding the Dawn’s Blessing, a mythical flower that only blooms once per century.
The race is on, and she’s not the only one looking. Four renegade shamans have come to town, each determined to claim the Blessing and the power that comes with it. Succeed and Gwen will save her oldest friend’s life. Fail, and the entire southwest will pay the price.
The desert is starting to heat up, and the vultures are beginning to circle. It’s all up to Gwen, but one false move and she’ll end up as just another faceless corpse rotting beneath the noonday sun.
Hunt Sworn is the 3rd book of 9 in the Forest Wardens series, a kickass urban fantasy series containing intense action, fast-paced dialogue, snarky humor, wonderful mythical creatures, a unique and compelling setting, and a touch of soft romance.

I’ve enjoyed reading the series and following the misadventures of Goldy and Hal. This one brought them to my neck of the woods. Always fun to see real local sites incorporated into the stories I read. Nothing too complicated here, just a fun no nonsense tale with a touch of fantasy thrown in.
This is an Amazing series. Filled with adventure, mystic magic, and an underlying romance, its a great read. Believable, fun, and great writing. Enjoy the snappy dialogue and string female protagonist. Love Gwen's story. And Gwen Goldenhair- like Goldilocks? Hal is the perfect bear. Looking forward to more in this saga.
I really enjoyed the first two books, but I almost didn’t make it through this one. I intend to read book 4, probably, but I am not excited about it the way I was about book 2.
Also, the author desperately needs a better grammar checker. It’s palette, not pallet, and wrought iron, not rod iron… etc.
I really enjoyed the entire trilogy. Very exciting, full of new entities and a fulfilling ending. I certainly enjoy your books. I will be reading more of them!
This book was a great addition to the series! I love the tie ins with modern technology and the Native American mythology too. I like that each book can stand alone but that there’s a mystery that weaves through the whole series.
Gwen and Hal need to help save the Indian Nation from both sides of the divide from those desiring power, greed. Story moves along quickly. It ends on a positive note leaving you waiting for the next book. Great job. Thank you!.
I'm starting yo think Gwen is destined to be moving to these areas right before something happens between us an h lands. This time she had 2 days to figure it out. Still waiting for again and Hal to figure out if they are something more.
