In this sexually driven crime thriller, we meet Tyler Keaton, who his friends call TK, a private investigator, who finds himself recruited, by his best friend and detective, to assist in solving a serial murder case that leads him down an unexpected path. Unbeknownst to TK, his current cases as a P.I., although seemingly distinct at first, begin to intertwine as more details and clues surface. Amidst TK's sexual encounters, dysfunctional relationships and disturbing past, he will need to use his vast intelligence and cunning abilities to overcome intimate obstacles to solve these cases as they become all too personal.

2 books7 followersKyle Kane is a Crime Thriller/Murder Mystery author living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Kyle has been writing his entire life, but it wasn't until 2021 when he published his first work, "Toxic Manifestations". This was the first book in the Tyler Keaton, P.I. series.
Kyle received his bachelor's degree in Information Systems & Technology from Drexel University. When Kyle is not writing, he enjoys time with his wife and 3 children, playing guitar and Sunday softball.

I found this to be a hilariously thrilling read that kept me hooked right from the off. I guessed who the perp was straight away, but I think the author set that up for us. There were a few issues with the use of tense in the prose, but overall, it was extremely entertaining. A cross between an exciting thriller and a teenage boy’s wet dream.

SEX, SERIL KILLERS AND TK
A private investigator quite a character himself known to wake up in hospital with his own stomach pumped not a character I’d like to meet outside of this book😬 he frequents massage parlours with extra services need I say more. Kim the masseuse makes a lot of people happy so the police turn a blind eye to the goings on. He also has a sweet spot for Portia a 22 year old stripper. Added some skanks and crackheads and the scene is set. TK sworn in to assist in a serial murder case lots of dead bodies back alleys pretty grizzly.
I enjoyed the authors style of writing it was easy to read. I wanted to read just a few pages and spent the rest of the day eagerly trying to finish unputdownable

Excellent all the way through
I thought this book was fantastic. I loved the characters and the background history on each of the. This took the story to another level.
The research into location and technique was flawless.
I am a huge reader, I love a good mystery and this one I can honestly say got me but more importantly it kept me interested all the way through. There have been books especially mysteries when I have wanted to skip to the end but not this one. Page turner all the way through!
Also can't wait for book 2!

Fantastic Crime Thriller
So, first I have to say that even though TK is a bit of a player, I love his personality.
The author does a wonderful job of setting up the story and characters. And even though, I knew almost from the beginning who the killer was (I just have a sense about these things); I loved reading about it.
And the fact that there was a little romance made my day. I’m a sap for a good love story.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Phenomenal!!!
This was a phenomenal thriller!!! I enjoyed the unique way this novel was crafted. Tyler Keaton case files kept my hands glued to my Kindle device anticipating what would happen next. I really loved the plot twists and red herrings that were strategically placed in this story. The 20-11 was a creative, but unexpected element of the novel; however, you will have to read it to be aware. I recommend this read.

A wonderfully told fast-moving crime thriller found on KU. Amongst all his other cases, TK has to find a serial killer. There are sufficient twists and turns to keep you interested right up to the final twist at the very end. It is not an overly long book and can be read in a single sitting, which I did. The author builds a convincing world for our detective to inhabit and populates it with many suspects. Very enjoyable read.

Twists and turns. A real page turner.
I recently only got into crime novels, and picked this one up on a recommendation. And boy, am I glad I did! This noir tale is second to none; intricately crafted storyline full of twists and turns, incredible world building and enough background that you feel you could be a PI. Awesome read.

An excellent story in many ways. In this novel the main character is a private investigator who keeps going to bed with the women in his cases, whether they hired him or were victims. The author needs to work on grammar (is it present? past? not both please) - but his ability to craft a story is superb.

Amazing
I have no words to describe this novel but I'll try with a few. Thrilling, page turner, addicting. I could not put this book down. With each turn of the page I became enthralled in TK's life and the cases he was working. I will be following and watching for more from this author.

If you like thrillers, this is for you.
Full of action, tension, and mystery. TK is chasing a serial killer, but discovers the killer is actually very close. He's a very likeable and charismatic MC with great interactions and dialog. It will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat.

I HAVE to warn anyone with triggers, this is NOT a book for the faint of heart. AT ALL. But man what a book. I had a feeling who the killer really was from other things but it really threw me for a loop as to why. But grief makes you do stupid things sometimes. Definitely recommend it

This is the first time that I have read a book by this author and I am happy that I did. I was on the seat of my pants the whole way through and read it in one go.

TK for life!
A main character with this much charisma begs for a fantastic storyline and the author delivers! I love the casual tone of the dialogue. It's so natural to read and easy to be immersed in immediately. I definitely plan on reading everything else this author puts out. His research is on point and his story flows well.

Thrilling read!
Crime books aren't my usual go to read but this one may have changed that! Its thrilling, fast paced and kept me wanting more. Would definitely recommend!
