THIS SERIES IS NOW COMPLETE! The riveting conclusion to the hard-hitting new series, Population Zero, is HERE! Early readers are now saying that Population Book 3 is “the best book in the trilogy so far!” and “one hell of a way to wrap a series!”
Population Zero Books 1 and 2 introduced you to the worst cyber-attack in U.S. history, but is there a way to rectify it? To undo the damage done? Who are the players, what are the stakes, and can this nightmarish situation be reversed, or will we all plunge headfirst into the apocalypse?
Find out these things and more in the third and final book!
The need to exact vengeance…
….Two competing ideas for warfare…
….One human nightmare who deserves a fitting end.
Can Johan Schwein be stopped, or is he about to usher in the end of civilization?
While Slater and the L.A. team head to the bug-out house in San Rafael, they do so knowing that the road ahead is fraught with peril. Population Zero has agreed to give them what they want, but only so she can make matters worse. In this promise, PZ does not disappoint, and all hell breaks loose as a result.
When Elijah splits from the team to take care of his mother, he unknowingly attracts the worst of all the one he doesn’t see, not until it’s too late. There will be consequences for Elijah’s missteps, and people will die. But who will survive and who will perish? In the end, wars are not without their casualties, and all battlefields bear remnants of death and the blood of the fallen…
This will be no different.
Population Book 3 is a blistering ride through an all-too-familiar world on the brink of an apocalypse. PZ3 is a thriller told only the way Ryan Schow can tell it—with bone-crunching detail, a torrent of emotional highs and lows, some well-timed humor, a bit of absurdity, and…pickles.
Yep, you read that right.
Pickles.
If you think you have the story figured out, trust me, it will not go as you anticipate. Charge your Kindle, load up on caffeine and tissue, and then get ready for the best ride Population Zero has to offer…
My review is mixed. The end of the world and yet this hodge podge group just concentrates on one thing, one man. What was with Chapter 23? It came out of nowhere and what was it? In all honesty the story should have stopped there.
Yet..... The characters were quirky and a tad bit strange. The plot was centered around a AI, computers and codes yet there was no flow chart organization. I was bouncing around. That is probably how to sum up the synopsis there was no rhyme or reason. It was all just a game.
Population Zero book 3 is the riveting, unpredictable and excellent final book in the series. As with the rest of the series, the writing is excellent. As far as characters, they're all well developed, and characters don't come any more unique than the enigmatic Erroll. The narrative quality is great, the plot matches up just right with the lightning fast pacing. The politics of the series are a little bit on the right for my taste, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the ride. Overall, 5/5 stars for both book 3 and the entire series! If you enjoy apocalyptic survival thrillers, you won't regret picking up Population Zero!
A few of the characters were interesting but most were too far out there and unrealistic. The violence and gore was over the top. The storyline was as well. I'm surprised I was even able to finish the books but I hate not reading something till the end. The whole series was too political with hate for everything on the "left" very apparent. The conspiracy theories were even crazy. Definitely will not be reading this author again. Was a waste of my time.
Outstanding, Funny, Scary, and Downright Thrilling
From a pickle eating, self-cleaning underwear inventor to an insane AI, the psychopathic ultra-rich, and slingshot wielding kids, Ryan Schow brought to a close one of the best book series I have read this year. The twist and turns were spectacular and the ending brought true realizations of the world around us. Ryan is true to his style with his latest book.
Schow keeps you hanging on by the seat of your pants . He is a master storyteller and I'm never disappointed reading anything from this author. The characters were deep with many sides to their contribution within the story. It was a nail biting read and took me only a couple days to finish the three books in this series. I couldn't put it down. I can see a follow up series coming in the future.
Do you like to feel the action? Smell the blood? Curse, smile and at times laugh out loud? Book 3, just like its predecessor s, will not disappoint. Schow has a scary brilliant mind that leaves you breathless, amazed and even shaking your head in disgust. Be ready for the usual thrill ride he always delivers.
Wow. I've loved Ryan's style of writing since I read the Last War series. But even so I gotta say this is a disturbing and twisted ride thru a nightmare that's way too true. It's a great and intense read that will really make you think. Thanks Ryan. The way your mind works scares me but you are a great writer.
Read this non-stop, it was very fast paced, loved Errol and hope he is in a future series. Excited to learn about Atlas series. If you haven't read Last War series your missing one of the Best series ever written.
Awesome trilogy. The battle between patriot survivors and the elitists is a delicious tale indeed. It's not often we see justice for those at such levels of power, so it's nice to at least experience it through fiction.
This definitely is a great ending for the PZ saga. Plenty of action. Great characters and storyline. A surprise reveal for one of the characters will leave you shaking your head, but it's well worth the time.
Just finished all the books in this series. If you think you have the apocalypse all figured out, read these. This is something that could happen and scary as hell. Fantastic read!
This series keeps you reading into the night. Characters were awesome and you could actually see them in your mind. Story has a beginning and end and you finish reading the book and you feel good. I highly recommend this series!
I chose to give this review because I wanted to warn everyone who reads it must be prepared for the brutal honesty of the message. We are never truly safe in this world. I'm sorry for any upcoming generation who isn't prepared for it.
I found this very interesting reading. The characters were original. Although I preferred your other series I would certainly read another one like this. Exposing the darkness is so necessary!
What a series and a final story. So much death and destruction, but a great story. Ryan could not have picked a better cast. A great read and I recommend it to all.
Great book. Super alive characters. Hooked me in and wouldn't let go. I really liked the underwear guy. He was unexpected and weird you never knew what he would do next.
I truly enjoyed this series and the characters. It was so well written, that at one point I was having to take breaks, because the intensity was so palpable.
