i have no logical reason as to why i keep picking up AR books when they've managed to let me the fuck down more times than I can count this year.
I've said it before, I'll say it again AR and JK books are impulse buys. It's out of my control, I spend money on them even though I know half of the time that they'll probably suck 😆
But that won't stop me. So you'll probably see more idiotic reviews such as this one. I'm sorry 😭🤷
Ps. This book has the most plot I've seen in AR where they're not hyper focused of their wet vaginas and stiff dicks. Still insta-love af and you def need to suspend your disbelief.
Pps. Kinda pumped to pick the next book of this series. I told you, nothing can stop me from picking up an AR book.

This was so fucking cute. Alexa Riley's books are like shots of happiness. The amount of smut, swoon and giddiness they pack in these short novellas is just so awesome. This was exactly what I needed after a dark read and I fucking love the cover!!!!

First off, let me just say that the cover is just stunning- it's so pretty. And In terms of everything else, the story was just great. It was another sweet, OTT, and dramatic AR book, that I couldn't resist reading.
I especially loved the dynamic of the characters in this book, the banter was just great- and I NEED a book about Gracie and Donovan's story.

I’d say this was a 4.5 rounded up to a five for me. I’m not a big enemies to lovers fan so I really hated the beginning. The whole picking on a girl because you like her thing should be long gone by now. I hate when two people obviously like each other, deny it, then fake fight.
After they got over that it was much better. Though I hated the name Tidas I loved that he was a jealous possessive and obsessed alpha. He was a great dirty talker too. All in all a great dirty little read, especially if you don’t mind enemies to lovers.

Si esperaba un libro instalove, con un alpha male y una protagonista inocente y virgen.
Y sí hay todo eso, pero también es enemies to lovers y le dio frescura a la historia.
Y lo que le dio muchos puntos a favor es que el protagonista me gustó mucho.

I think it is a well-established fact that the AR duo are known for exploring all the 'lil crumbs that the insta-love trope has to offer; always delivering swoon-worthy alpha male hunks, managing to make each of their stories trend on GR. This time, in The Fall Bride we're treated to an added enemies-to-lovers trope which I don't think I've ever come across in their books.
It was a good change. A really good change.
Valerie Schaffer has returned back from her college to the town of Hollow Oak, finally having a chance at managing her own bridal shop, but some things have changed. And the worst of all those changes is Mr. Tidas Combs, a hot shot divorce lawyer who has opened up his practice right next door.
A tried and tested storyline but AR somehow makes it all work! I can not wait to get my hands on the rest in the series.
It was a good change. A really good change.

The Fall Bride me devolvio mi agrado por estas autoras, sinceramente, creo que al fin este duo recupero su esencia de sus inicios, ya hacia varios meses ( o incluso años ) que ninguna de sus lecturas me gustaba demasiado pero este tomo me encanto.
Obviamente no se puede negar que es una novela de Alexa Riley, es directa, simple y con un toque exagerado que logras amar o odias desde el principio, sin embargo, me sorprendio para bien e incluso tengo ganas de leer la historia de el hermano del protagonista masculino.
En fin, un relato otoñal muy gracioso y lindo.

Rompí mi promesa y me volví a leer una historia de estas doñas. En mi defensa, ayer me intoxiqué y me sentía tan mal que necesitaba leer algo reconfortante (y corto), para así poder olvidarme que tenía un cuerpo (una exageración).
Sorprendentemente, esta historia me gustó (aunque mi opinión en este punto no es confiable). Capaz el concepto de alpha male me incomodó, pero al mismo tiempo dije "nada como un hombre que sabe lo que quiere y va tras ello" (super debatible).
En fin, me temo que iré a leer el otro libro de esta serie porque hay un tortured heroy yo vivo por ese tipo de personajes jejej

That was a really cute little read! True to AR fashion, instalove, babies, jealous and possessive alpha, but with a sweet side of boutiques, coffee shops, and cozy fall feels. Tidas can boss me around anytime!

This was such a fun story and I enjoyed every minute of it. Valerie owns a bridal shop right next door to Tidas' law office. Every single day since she took over the store from her mom, Tidas taunts her clients about getting prenups. Tidas gets under Valerie's skin and he tries everything to get her attention. Tidas and Valerie had great chemistry and every time they were around each other it was obvious that were fighting their attraction to one another. Once Tidas got Valerie to get her guard down, he showed her everyday that he was the right man for her. Valerie never thought that Tidas would be the man to give her confidence back and her HEA, but he was the right man all along. I really loved this story and I do hope that Tidas' brother Donovan gets his own book.
