I always end up hooked on this kind of story ,I liked it much more than I should have and I read it in one sitting ..I can't imagine how it feels to be in a different world than yours and not find what you need .the protagonist goes through many things beyond his control and even though he has help from the other protagonist, things do not start well between them ....start assimilating things, trust, plan a future. were big changes for them but that in the end things fell into place

started from reading the comic "Intoxicated" on BiliBili then discovering the novel because I couldn't wait for the comic's weekly slow updates. And honestly? the novel version was much better since it was more graphic/explicit than the drawing panels.
as you can figured out from the story cover above, yes it is a BL story. BUT it wasn't a BASIC BL love story. Maybe your first thought at seeing the cover would be "office romance? mafia? CEO x high school boy? age gap trope?" UM...NOPE.
(trust me, cuz those were my first thoughts and it took me 61 chapters of the comic to know that this was not the normal BL i read)
the feminine guy—Shenting—in this story was a Beta turns Omega?
(i haven't done my research about that but my hunch said that this has got to do with werewolf pack...then i doubted my hunch because Shenting didn't change into a werewolf? but he experienced "in heat"? yeah definitely werewolf gene)
what is an Omega? So in Shen's world, there are 6 genders...(YES. SIX.)...man, woman, alpha, beta, omega, and iforgotwhattheotheroneis.......ANYWAY, omega is basically men who can get pregnant. you see where this is going from here right?
One day, Shen got into a car accident which apparently caused him being teleported to a parallel world, Earth. He was like being dropped out of nowhere on the sidewalk and there he stumbled upon his Alpha, Lian Jue.
(he's not exactly an Alpha. Lian Jue's expensive cologne made Shen mistaking it as his natural pheromone lmao)
Lian Jue was a rich heartthrob billionaire CEO. The town knew who Lian Jue was and he got a reputation to hold. First time he met Shenting, he thought he was a guy sent from his rival/enemy for bribery or getting inside informations. But those first thought changed into "This guy is mental!" since Shen kept saying that he was in heat and begging for Lian Jue to douse the hotness from his body.
You're questioning how I got myself into this universe? Well I was stressing about my upcoming exams and couldn't help but procrastinate all the time....so as a 20-20-20 study rules follower, I studied for 20 minutes, then 20 minutes to look at a distance, and 20 hours of doing whatever the hell i want including READING TIME (hehehe)
So what made me continue reading this story until the very end?
1. the smut
2. enemies to lovers
3. grumpy x sunshine
4. Dom-sub
5. it was just addicting okay I couldn't stop
Do I recommend this story? if you guys are in a mental health crisis, yes absolutely. Highly recommend.

Omegaverse meets modern universe
The MC comes from an A/B/O world where he’s an Omega who has just gone on a blind date with a pushy Alpha who causes him to go into heat; while sitting in his car, he’s struck by a car and upon waking up finds himself in a world where secondary genders no longer exist while he still retains all his Omega traits.
It’s definitely a very interesting plot , with its own set of complications. The ML starts off unlikable but as the story progresses you can see how much he actually cares for the MC and how he does little things to always protect him. One thing I would have liked to see is the ending fleshed out more with the family complete, but in terms of an Omegaverse story it was very entertaining.

Entretenida, se lee rápido y es acogedor. No hay mucho drama, solo falta de comunicación entre los protas y no hay desarrollo del antagonista, solo esta ahí para que se vea qué hay una fuerza contraria en la historia. El Shou es súper pasivo y el Gong típico rico arrogante 🤔. Nunca se supo nada más de la hermana del Gong y tampoco de las represalias del papá del Gong. No me dejo una fuerte impresión la historia pero amena para pasar el rato. Hay una pareja secundaria que no tuvo casi nada de desarrollado y esta ahí como relleno. Lastima que el autor tuvo muchas críticas durante la emisión de la novela 😐.

Me encantó, ha sido una historia, ligera (aunque debo admitir que al principio me confundí) y extraña (en el buen sentido).
Me reí mucho con el 3er accidente de WeiWei, es que para salado.
Cuando estaba la historia en su punto álgido, sentí como mi corazón se rompió, por ejemplo, esa parte en la cual se simula qué están actuando, dolió. Y cuando Wei Wei, llama con la línea de su mundo omegaverse al normal; así como cuando le escribe a su mamá para contarle que está bien, pero sale "Error de envío".

It was an interesting premise and I would've freaked out more than the ML did. I don't understand why the MC was so passive throughout, but I liked him anyway. Sometimes doormat MCs are acceptable. Especially because the ML improved so much and fell in love with the MC it all felt fine.
Love the ML's adopted kid, what a cutie. Overall decent read, kinda fun and kinda touching. And there was no abuse. Truly a miracle.
