Emily is an east-coast Canadian thirtysomething mom of two humans and a furbaby. Her lumbersexual husband doesn’t actually work in lumber anymore, but he still wears the plaid and the beard.

As well as authoring, she’s a freelance editor and ghostwriter. Her books range in genre from Romance and Erotica to Horror and Science Fiction, and everything in between. When she’s not writing and/or momming, she’s sipping espresso, crocheting, and listening to audiobooks.

It was a fantastic collection of romance stories! Plus, each story had super yummy drink recipes to kick them off. Most look like they are fairly easy to make too. Each one was a part of the paired stories in some fashion, which I found super cool. Totally brings the title of this anthology straight to life.
Out of the entire piece I think my favorite story is Death Does Not Drink by P. Stormcrow. I have always loved reading about the 4 horsemen throughout the legends and seeing the newest interpretation of them. The way Stormcrow portrayed them was brilliant! I would totally read more about this world if I could.
The second story that came really close to being my favorite was That Was You by Eliza Solaves. There is something so sweet about a spark kindling like it did in this story. i guess more so if you believe in love at first sight. Also, that drink looked amazing!
This anthology is a highly recommend book and it has a little bit of everything within these stories. It is full of moments that will make you want to curl your toes and giggle because the romances are just perfect.

Each had something different to offer the reader but my absolute favourite almost instantly was death's story.
It just had an emotional feel to it that broke my heart with its intensity.
I enjoyed the others and found they each had a level of intrigue that kept me reading.
I loved the style of this book with the recipes that were connected to each fresh and unique drink.
I adored the romance that oozed from the pages of this special collection and felt the magic of true love.

Very cute anthology of love stories by nine authors. It's adorable that the stories revolved around unique drinks and the recipe for said drinks are at the beginning of each story. This read was a lot better than expected.

It was interesting. I thought the stories were well-written and paced. My favorite was “The Wolf and the Barista”, “The Queen’s Right”, “Nice Moves, Doc”. The characters were pretty decent and seemed to work well of each other. It’s also interesting how each story has a recipe for the reader at the beginning. I’d say check it out if you like short stories.

Deliciously romantic…

Love At First Sip starts off with its uniqueness by including recipes at the beginning from every author, based on the short story.

Every short story is unique, with a diverse cast of characters and a variety of genres to read, from paranormal to science fiction to fantasy. Werewolves, aliens, a princess in an arranged marriage, falling in love in midair. If one didn’t appeal to you, a different page definitely would. Personally, I enjoyed every one of them.

You may even recognize some names (and a certain character) in Secrets, another anthology by some of the same authors, and an equally enjoyable read for lovers of erotic literature.

What a great group of well crafted, fun, exciting, adventurous, and heartwarming stories. Complete with a beverage list that has something for everyone. Including one that involves ice cream, coffee and maple syrup. Three of my favorite things.
So if you enjoy heart with with a little surprise on the side take a seat grab a glass and your favorite beverage to sip. Your about to be transported to other worlds, to meet other species, to tempt fate and possible dance with death.

If you're looking for a fun collection of stories, this anthology is a great choice. I found myself wishing that a few of the stories were longer and I hope to read more from some of the characters in the future.
